  1. Hey how are Shinsei subs' subtitle jobs for Gundam 00 so far? I've watched their projects before, and I've liked them, but how do they stack up against others for Gundam 00? I like Setsuna's character so far.
  2. Just got done with episode 4. Holy hell Roy is so much better here than he was in Robotech! Roy rules. Minmay has got to be the most indecisive and random woman in the entire franchise. Not to mention a coward. The end of episode 4 says it all. Still not as bad as she was in Robotech. It was funny how the entire bridge crew was laughing at Misa and trying to hide it. She is too uptight thus far. I like how direct Roy is. Does anyone know which studios animated certain episodes? I know Anime friend did some of episode 4, as some of it was horrible! Minamy must be the first woman Hikaru has been around in a long time, he seems rather naive to women.
  3. Hey guys, on average, how long does it take Anonymous to sub their titles? I liked their take on Gundam 00 but they are only on episode 2 so far. I watched the first episode and I am impressed. I had no idea Exia's armblade could fold back to reveal a gun. Allelujah has potential to become annoying. I like the mecha designs a lot, especially Exia. Looking forward to the rest of this series.
  4. Well he was pretty old. Maybe its the affects of aging and returning to larger size. I hope the enemies have variable mecha, it would be interesting, and Macross Zero/7 wet my appetite for this to happen. I wonder if Alto and Ozma are from the same squadron, the logos on the tails are cleverly hidden in the pics shown thus far. Also wondering if the ventral fins on the VF-25 function like horizontal stabilizers, or if they are just stationary.
  5. The music from SDF Macross is wonderfully composed, and powerful. Surprisingly enough, I love the music of Macross II. 7 was hit or miss but most of the music were hits to me. Totsugeki love heart, and Holy Lonely Night are excellent. I'm also a fan of Flashback 2012's music. Wonderful final song from Minmay. The music from the 1st 2 episodes of SDF Macross, the bgm when Roy escorts Hikaru, GREAT dramatic effect there. Aka "watch me fly straight and score some kills just by flying straight and not really doing much else, I am Roy and bad ass!".
  6. They just used an exacto knife to trim the hinge parts a bit.
  7. You can turn the mike off or mute the players. I decided to leave it on as incentive and inspiration for me to shoot them down. I would keep hearing "oh you SOB, oh why did you hit me, oh that hurt you SOB, oh you SOB, oh you hit me, now I got you, OH damn you got me, I'm going to get you you SOb!". It was AWESOME hearing their reaction right after they trash talked me and got shot down by me before they could even complete their sentence. Serves them right. The best players I've encountered have NEVER trash talked. *Tip for using the Historic Windhover F-16. Since it stalls so quick when using High-G, don't use High-G as much, as its normal mobility is already increased. Keep your throttle setting high and use gravity/altitude to your advantage. High-G is best used last minute or to aid in aiming to close for the kill in that plane. Forget about using sustained High-G in that plane, because you can't. God its a beautiful plane to look at! Oooo speaking of which, since its similar in color, hopefully we get a VF-101 Grim Reaper sharkmouth F-14D. Add RCL, and ability to volley 6 XLAAs.
  8. That would be awesome. I wonder if Yamato decided to go ahead and make the Supernova repaints, those were very nice too.
  9. Thats probably why man, its harder to get higher points using the better planes. Whenever you use the F-15E and SU-33, you might have more success with the XMAA, well at least I do.
  10. QAAM is boring to use online, it takes so long to reload, and IMHO is slow to begin with as a missle. I hate using it, which is why I rarely ever use it. Seems like a lot of people avoid battle royale. Don't know why. From what I read you get more points if you are shooting down a plane more advanced than yours. For example, if you were in an F-22 and shoot down an F-16, you don't get that many points. Yet if you are in an F-16 and shoot down an F-22, you get a lot of points. What planes do you normally use?
  11. People who trimmed the hinge area on the wings have reported no problems afterwards.
  12. Very awesome pic David, thanks for the link. Played against others in battle royale last night, 2 of the guys kept cussing the entire way through. This was annoying. I was going to turn my mic off but decided hearing them was more incentive to shoot them down, which I did. Towards the later matches they said "stop using the XLAA!", to which I replied "I'll stop using the XLAA if YOU STOP USING THE QAAMs". XLAA is not hard to dodge at all. Being that one of them was using the SU-47, always using the QAAM, and bragging about it, why should he complain? The XLAA has the least accurate range of all the SP missles. One got mad when I called him an QAAM spammer, and then he got all defensive(his comments were degrading & annoying btw). After hearing him batty and moan for a couple minutes, I replied "WELL I WOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT IF YOU WOULD JUST STFU AND PLAY". Damn kids and their "cussing is cool" mentality. After I said that I took him by surprise and he wasn't as vocal, but still annoying. BTW, there are some of you worried that you will encounter the exact same thing. That is the FIRST time that ever happened to me, and I have played a lot of matches. Most players are level headed and nowhere near as annoying and foul mouthed. In fact some of the best rarely say anything.
  13. He is aware, however even if he wishes F to be released in America, its up to Big West to decide and negotiate its release here, as well as overcome the legal hurdles. To my knowledge the VF-1 and VF-0 had splitter plates as well, only they folded up for fighter mode. Very excited for this series, I hope its an early spring release.
  14. Richar, is that the complete song uploaded or a snippet? I wonder if Yoko Kanno did the instrumentals.
  15. With that said, Graham was referring to the model in the CAD picture not being 1/60 for sure, and I hope with that last sentence a VF-11B in 1/60 is still possible.
  16. Damn Swoosh, those are some fine pics. This is a beautiful toy. I've made my decision, if I ever buy a 51, it'll be Nora's. For the past few years I've liked Ivanov's more, but that schanged now. What a beautiful mecha. Swoosh, is this easier to transform than the 1/60 YF-19 and 1/48 VF-1? I like how the majority of the details are tampo printed too.
  17. Unless they were working on both the 21 and 11B at the same time. Its quite possible. The 11B may not be as complex to get to 1/60 and make perfect variable, so development time might have been a lot less.
  18. Plastic block for internal engine detail/turbine piece, thigh swivel joint, kneecap joint, ratcheting knees, ball jointed hips, landing gear, space for vertical stabilizers to slide into, and possibly more. The joints shown for the arm and the internal leg gadgetry lead me to believe its CAD for the Yamato 1/60, I imagine a model kit would have more internal pieces revealed by the CAD. Also, the VF-11B was already rumored via the SGcollect.com post, so it makes sense if its the Yamato. VF-11B rules, I can't wait!
  19. I will be sick of it once, Bandai makes a perfect variable toy, just as or more durable than the chunky monkey, but more accurate and saturates it to hell, or if yamato makes a PV redone 1/60 VF-1 and saturates it to hell. Until then, I keep hoping we see a revamped VF-1 in either 1/55 or 1/60.
  20. Actually from what I remember the producer or director of KISSDUM bailed before the 1st episode was even completed. Prior to this he kept reassuring the team that he had everything under control and everything was going as planned. I don't think said guy was part of Satelight, Satelight was just animating KISSDUM. So nothing to worry about. SWS-1 is probably the ship the squadrons are stationed on.
  21. Wow that is sleek. I have a hunch that it will be easy to transform, and the most solid release since the 1/48. I like how its coming all in one package(FP's and all according to the SGcollect post).
  22. Thanks for the scans Graham, those are the clearest yet. All 3 VF-25's shown are stationed onboard the SWS-1. I can now see the visor for the head, and I wish the antennae were lower to look more like ears(like the VF-1S arrangement). It might be the angle of the shots, but to me, this looks like the widest wingspan seen yet on a valkyrie aside from the bomber valkyrie shown in Design Works. Tail logos are hidden by the angle of the shot, I wonder whats on them?
  23. Movie realization figures look awesome, I hope they do a TV realization version too. Anyone think these will be more durable than the TV spec figures?
  24. Actually, it might be shorter, I saw this post by Roger@toyboxdx: 1/72 is significantly smaller than 1/48.
  25. Thats what I'm wondering too. Though the pilot(whom I presume is the same guy yelling before the battroid fires its gun) did not look like either Alto nor Ozma.
