VF-1D show colors is a definite buy for me. However I also want to see it in low viz, and tiger meet colors. Surprised I've never seen a tiger meet VF-1.

He will look better if he is actually silver rather than white. I read a UK toyfair report saying he is silver.

Those look awesome. Especially the Sith lord version of the apprentice. I've decided to get the Darth set over the previous Sith set since the Maul in this one has ball jointed elbows. Its a great set, however the CG helmet is too wide from the side. It takes some fidgeting to keep it secured too. Its hard to find a good position for him to hold his gun. If his hand was angled downwards it would look so much more natural with the new gun. The trooper is Scarface(in the comic too), and my dissapointments are that his helmet is not very secure, and mine had a wrist peg that started to tear. I've fixed it by pulling the hand out, and applying super glue, as well as shaving some plastic from the interior of the forearm to lessen the friction. All of you who think you may have a stuck joint with the wrists, push the hand in as far as it will go before trying to twist it. I'm not sure if this would have helped my figure because the wrist peg was already exposed in package and bent, but it may have helped. The gun he comes with is far superior to that sniper rifle the troopers have been coming with. The comic was dissapointing, I'm starting to think Larry Hama just provided the outline, and someone else wrote it. The dialogue is incohesive. Other than that I like the set a lot. I was surprised to find this and the Ace set, but not the SE/SS and Crimson twins set. Actually, I'm more surprised I did not find the ninjas in this wave. Those are the guys no one wants aside from me it seems. Ace and Wild Weasel is a great set. Wild Weasel has a removable visor but you cannot tell by looking at it. Ace looks like he is a deranged fighter pilot set to kill any Cobra aircraft in his sight. Eyes wide open and an angry look. His overall look is reminiscent of the original but when I put my 99 version(repaint of 83 version in grey/black) side by side, the uniforms are completely different. Nonetheless it works. Colorwise it does not look less astronaut like, but mold wise it definitely does. The big ripple pads are not on the new one. The removable vest was a nice touch. He cannot fit in the Thunderwing's pilot seat, unfortunately. He fits in both the Skystriker and Conquest though! I don't have a Skystriker(a complete one at least, my neighbor broke my Night Boomber years ago, but I have the 99 Conquest, which Ace piloted, so I shoved the new one in there!). I love how his armbands show his name, and the Skystriker insignia. The worst news it that: Wild Weasel cannot fit in the Rattler, nor the Power Team A-10! If the knife and holster are removed from his legs, he may fit, but I'm not sure. Range of motion is good for both figures. I am not a fan of the homage cover for the included comic by Greg Horn. The artist for the interiors is bad. I'm not sure if he got a lot better over the years, but the art in this issue was terrible. Using the F/A-18 as reference for the Skystriker was a horrible idea. Seeing the Phantom X-19 smaller than a truck was atrocious too.

I wonder if more 1/60s will be shown at winter wonderfest, and if they will be shown in painted form too.

I thought 77 Bumblebee was the one designed by the Australian designer? I wanted the battle mask for a long time, but the more I look at it, I'm starting to think the head on the regular Concept Camaro is actually sculpted better. I'm still tempted to buy Stealth Bumblebee and do a headswap(I like that repaint, so I may not even headswap and just keep it as is). The 1st Concept Camaro Bumblebee has a superior paint scheme than the Premium one. The only thing the Premium has going for it is the head, but as previously mentioned, I'm starting to question that. I'm warming up more to Animated Starscream's jet mode on the toy. Itching to find that bastard on shelves in a few months. The Animated line looks like so much fun. I'll get the battle pack, and I like it because its basically a "what if g1 prime and megatron were in Transformers:Animated?" box set. I want voyager Cybertronian Megatron because of the huge BFG, neat sword automorph, sculpt, and ratchets all over. I want cybertronian dlx Prime because he used this mode most in the pilot. The figures I may skip are Bumblebee and voyager Bulkhead. Bumblebee because I loathe the character as of yet, and Bulkhead because the Leader one may be so much better. In fact, if Prowl and Bumblebee are resculpted with their battle masks(which is likely because its just a different head sculpt which is easy on Hasbro's part), I may just wait for those. Oh and I think its only a matter of time before Animated Starscream is repainted and given a new head that is "un-animated", more typical looking. Possibly as an exclusive.

I hope I find these packs soon. The Storm Shadow pack is one of the ones I've looked forward to the most(I know I'm in the minority on this one). Its a clever repaint, and the cloak does wonders, as well as the amplified bow. Apparently Sideshow toys will not be at toyfair, but will be unveiling their new products online during toyfair. I keep hoping we will get a Cobra v1 Storm Shadow as one of the first releases. Also, comic pack Ace does fit in the Skystriker, confirmed by Shogi, one of our hisstank mods. The Comic pack Crimson Guard is confirmed to have a removable helmet, not a swappable head. The helmet actually looks better here, than the single pack Crimson Guard. Also, just realized today that the Comic pack Cobra trooper is Scarface and has painted hair. Its a shame the Trooper mold has not had the articulation fixes yet. Its a figure most fans have been troop building, and ideally should have had the articulation fixes early on.

The one with the new comics, Se vs SS, Ace vs WW, CG and Cobra Trooper, and maybe one more. Sighted in Illinois, and the first one was in Ohio if I'm not mistaken. Sighted in the US in a walmart. Worse in the eact coast. BTW try checking target, they seem to be getting wave 4 more than anyone else.

I keep wondering if Powerglide would look better in his original colors, or would look bland instead. Then I realize, he would look lovely in grey with sharkmouth and maybe some red trim. Then I also realize, the former 2 are possibly the only ones to come out.

Yea its like he's saying, "eheh yea guys, this is....nice..", but in his mind he's like "all that hype and these sons of bitches give me an amber dildo with wings, god damn it I'm better off with my legos". Of course I realize these are early prototypes and will change no doubt, but his expression is funny.

Its the playability. Each limb can be alternated, and turn into a targetmaster gun. They also come with stands to display them in targetmaster mode.

Yes, people have been begging for him since he was cancelled a few years ago(as an exclusive to either walmart or target). It also helps that he has high playability compared to other gestalts.

The grey resin proto of Powerglide is correctly transformed, the colored pictured one is not. BTW Premium Prime only has silver paint on the grill, head, crotch, and thighs. Arms are molded in light grey.

Its doubtful that its the movie license just yet, the costume designers on the movie probably aren't even done yet! I think that the license is for the classic RAH costumes, judging by the uniforms and logo, but it would not surprise me if the license also included the upcoming movie for next year.

Hey, that is pretty close to Hot House's color scheme. Animated Starscream's jet mode in the cartoon evokes an F-15 influence with FSW. The toy, with its more compressed look, is definitely giving me an F/A-18 influenced design. Not bad, but I wish it was more accurate to the cartoon. Both are mistransformed.

Theres still no A-10s with red trim. I don't mind if Powerglide turns out predominantly grey with red trim.

Excited for a Storm Shadow Cobra version by Sideshow toys! It will be awesome if they make him. BTW, compare the old Hasbro 12" figures to Sideshow's. HUGE difference. I am glad Hasbro gave them the license!

I'm getting a strong feeling that the VF-25 will be replaced by a better valkyrie towards the end of the first season.

Ray Park signed on for 4 movies, Gijoe trilogy, and Snake Eyes spin off. Storm Shadow is said to be a bad ass assassin who is envious of Hard Master's approval of Snake Eyes over him.
