  1. Landmine is one of the best deluxes in the movie line but his right lower leg on mine cannot hook into place, and holding his gun takes some fiddling. Love the alt mode and range of motion for his articulation though, unmatched in that pricepoint in the movie line.
  2. I'll just stare at the galleries everyone posts up.....its free!
  3. I would have preferred 2002 Storm Shadow, comic pack wave 4 Storm Shadow with a shirt, or Ninja Force Storm Shadow. The above 3 are in more demand than the obscure and random Argentina gijoe line homage:"Ninja ku". If we get a Storm Shadow it should be a significant one, and while Ninja Ku is a nice nod to the collectors who loved the international variants, Ninja Ku could have been used in a comic pack or as an exclusive.
  4. The Ninja-ku homage could have been saved for a battle pack. The Snow Serpent is pretty bulky, I hope it is slimmer when it reaches shelves, since these are prototypes and many of the joe prototypes look different from the production versions. David, you might like the DTC Snow Serpent better. Slimmer, and a great update.
  5. Those of you who are looking for the Target exclusive vehicles: -They do not have a street date for 4/13. They just cannot be put on shelf later than 4/13. -They are placed near the check out lanes. -The officer with the HISS fits into the cockpit, just make sure the edge of his pants on his lower legs does not get caught near the center console panel. -I saw no evidence of mold degredation. -foot pegs modified to fit the anniversary figures. -Cobra officer/driver with the HISS has no weapons at all. -None of the figures have stands. -SHARC(night Spectre?HAH!) has pegs for the canopy to hinge into. For those of you who want a black HISS, the black one will be hitting mass retail in summer with Rip-It(who was recently killed off in the comic). Msrp is most likely $14.99.
  6. Thats one of the overlooked Snake Eyes costumes but it was actually one of my favorites(I have the 2000 repaint). The knives are a nice touch because on the original, they were molded on and did not look good at all. The resculpted sword is awesome, and if Hasbro ever makes an anniversary 2002 Storm Shadow, he needs 2 of those swords.
  7. Yeah the A-10's "brought the rain", which was more memorable than the V-22s just transporting the main human characters in the beginning. I was glad to see both but I wish Hasbro made an A-10 transformer. Definitely agree, missed opportunity right there. Incincerator's hands can pop off, they actually come packaged that way. Not sure if you can plug them anywhere else though.
  8. At hisstank we think he is either Ninja Force(God I hope so, that costume ruled, the original figure on the other hand...), or an homage to Ninja Ku(eh, not really into that one). A black costume hooded Storm Shadow was on the SDCC playing cards last year, so maybe it is a ninja ku homage. Hell, it could even be a random 2002 wave 2 homage, but that one would be out of nowhere and throw everyone off.
  9. Thats one of my favorite movie figures, then again I wanted a V-22 Transformer since seeing it in the beginning of the movie, and I like the V-22 as it is. One of the better voyagers. I like it a lot more than Blackout(which was a dissapointing toy). I want a movie A-10 figure, the upcoming Powerblade and TRu exclusive Sonic Bomber repaint are cool, but I want a solid realistic A-10 based movie Transformer.
  10. TRU 3 pack exclusives are ringing up for $13.99 last time I read in store. A preorder list of wave 9 emerged today: here
  11. VF-1A TV Max type>DYRL VF-1S Max type
  12. Last time I counted it was 3. Remember the MPC VF-1 series? Those were delayed a LONG time even after their preorders. As for the Beta, I'll think it will come out for sure if BBTS ever gets them in a factory. Other than that, I'll wait for the CMs to hopefully drop down in price, or for Toynami to finally junk the diecast in the lower arms, and ratchet them shoulders.
  13. I think it was the suggestion of Takatoku to make a main jet robot, I believe they were to be the initial sponsor.
  14. I disagree, the Death Star Vader is chock full of win
  15. Yep, from the new refresher wave 2 that David mentioned here:
  16. Thank ALL OF YOU for posting pictures, and your thoughts on this line of toys. I just started watching Mospeada and realized how underrated and overlooked it is. I like it! I want a Legioss, and since the Aoshima/Toynami versions are cheaper than the CM's, I was almost set on ordering one. After rereading many posts in this thread and the old reviews in the first MPC threads, I've decided to wait. I have concluded that the CMs suits my desires. The Toynami and Aoshima are too much of a gamble for me. Even if I were to buy one for $60, I'd be pissed if the shoulders got loose or if various other things broke. I do play with my toys, and generally look out for problem prone areas. I've read reviews and thoughts at toyboxdx, jenius' site, japanese blogs and random reviews I found on google. I am waiting because the Shadow Chronicles ones might be better(thats the only reason, I do not like the pilots in that movie). Especially if they have the improvements that the Aoshima did have(ratchet hips). I do not understand why Toynami made the hands out of PVC or something softer. For a mecha toy with articulated hands holding a gun, that plastic should NEVER be used. Fixed posed swappable hands should have been better. Ratchets should have been placed in the shoulders to be begin with. Its a questionable decision on their part to put diecast in the forearms yet no ratchets in the shoulders. Hell, from what I gather, the diecast wasn't even needed in the forearms. See with me, loose joints are a big[/b] issue, and I love ratchets. Same reason I love the Bandai 1/55 VF-1 after all these years. I want a Legioss like THAT. Ratchets all over, near industructible, it will break your child, not your child break it! Maybe the CMs will go down in price, who knows. If that set was $150, I'd probably order one ASAP. The chances of that happening in the near future are slim. I've come to the conclusion that its better to wait and see what happens later this year, rather than buy an MPC now and risk dissapointment. I'm still pissed I lost out on a free MPC Rook 2 years ago to some rock, paper, scissors game that Steve Yun was judging after me and the other guy forgot what Rook's name was in Mospeada. I remain tempted to buy an MPC off robotech.com, but I feel its better to wait and see if something better comes out for now. Aoshima's Stiq version is appealing because he is my fav character so far, and the paint job is nice, but after reading the various reviews, I am not willing to take a gamble.
  17. Omega Supreme confirmed for Supreme size class in Animated, and Blitzwing is a deluxe(possibly). List of Upcoming Figures
  18. What are your thoughts on the AWE striker? I've seen it, but am debating picking it up or not.
  19. I said that in reference to the paranoid fans that populate Yamatoworld. You KNOW as much as people bitch about the delimiter mode, they will still buy the 21. If Yamato didn't do it, there would be demands that they should have, especially if some fragile resin scratchbuild makes it into a magazine spread. Its one of the best looking 1/60 toys out there. Lets hope it is solid as a rock. I want more spreads on the 1/60 VF-1 though.
  20. Those hips totally caught me off guard a couple years back. When I opened brown costume Wolverine I was like "OH AWESOME THE COSTUME FROM MY CHI-...WHY THE %^&* IS HIS LEG NOT MOVING LIKE THE OLDER ONES? OH......DAMN.......". Me niether! On fwoosh I did see some members taking the mk2 cannons and mounting them on Repulsor Red's ankles.
  21. I shudder to think how much Toynami would charge for bringing the CMs over here. Quite possibly more than their own MPC Alpha and Beta! Still I would buy it if it came over here for a substantially cheaper price.
  22. Thats actually something Toybiz started on wave 6 of their Marvel Legends line. I'm not the biggest fan of it either, I just got used to it. I prefer the old way though. If you do, just turn them the other way, then reglue them on. That way it still covers his hands, but no longer blocks his repulsor pose.
  23. I didn't mention it, but I meant to refer to the Blazing Angels games.
