wave 3 or 4 later this year or early next, has a minicon targetmaster if I am not mistaken, which attaches the exact same way as the original. SDCC -

Damn that SAW Viper really did go ape. I've actually never read that issue, but heard of it. Its referenced a lot. The deaths in the Marvel comics actually meant something, as opposed to DDP's useless shock value deaths. Anyone else here surprised/impatient that Wave 7/wave 3 comic packs have yet to hit? -

Exactly how I feel with regards to G.I. Joe vehicles. If you compare the Gijoe Thunderwing to the Skystriker, its like "what the hell happened?" -

I think he was on CoolToyReview's fan voted top 10, the top 2, Tomax/Xamot have already been released, so I think its only a matter of time. -

Agreed. This is how a lot of transformers fans, myself included, feel. I remember most of the people defending the decisions kept saying "oh its too similar to whats already out, look at the magical retail statistics that we actually don't have, but just take our word for it, it won't sell HE WON'T SELL! NEITHER THE 2 CONEHEADS!" Yet Hasbro, makes Star Wars and G.I. Joe figures, home of plentiful Snake Eyes, and Clone Trooper repaints, every other month. Snake Eyes alone has over 5 versions, more than 2 repaints, all in less than a year since the G.I. Joe anniversary line has hit shelves. How many Clone Trooper repaints do we have on shelves? How many Jedi Starfighters? G.I. Joe, has a harder time at retail than Star Wars and Transformers too. Agreed. -

I think Thundercracker and the other 2 coneheads can see release at mass retail, just not the same versions as the Botcon sets. For example, if you give Thundercracker his exact G1 toy deco, it will look significantly different from the Botcon one. Its much darker, the red is brighter, and the blue is more midnight blue, rather than having an unappealing green tint to it. Making all new wings for Dirge and Thrust could work, Botcon Dirge didn't have any new parts, and Botcon Thrust had stubby wings. I would have wanted a low vis grey 1st Fighter Wing deco on the Starscream mold, over Acid Rain. -
The 1/100 toys seem about right for that kind of thing

I don't but want it, might wait for a repaint, the Clone Wars packaging one is the same from last year. This was suggested in a q/a weeks back, and they were open to it. -

I got word of it today from a target employee at HissTank. Target rose their price to match Walmart. A Walmart employee chimed in weeks back, saying the joes might be "loss leaders", so walmart hiked up the price, while keeping Star Wars figure prices unchanged, due to their popularity and upcoming movie/cartoon series, which is expected to be proftable. There is speculation that Star Wars figures might go up a dollar soon regardless. Overall the increasing price of oil is not helping either. -
The Cm's version actually came out, thats something the Toynami has yet to do.

Yeah the lack of electronics didn't bother me. After having the 97 X-Wing, I was itching to have a way better one. I have the 2006 Dagobah version, and I like it a lot. I store all of VOTC X-wing Luke's weapons behind the seat. I think it will be a long while before Hasbro ever outdoes this X-Wing. -

Haven't heard anything yet. I think its in the realm of possibility. It would be way better than the anniversary Gung Ho presently on shelves, thats for sure. -

Hey I craved these because I stupidly overlooked these for the Yamato 1/60 VF-1's at the time.

Same here man, which is the reason I want Prime, Blitzwing, Megatron, Starscream and Ratchet, and don't feel the need yet for Bumblebee and Prowl. I am a sucker for all things transforming F-14, so I am buying Blitzwing. I am just surprised his undercarriage is worse than movie Starscream. I wish it matched the concept art better. If anything, it looks lot better than the one in the TV animation, because that thing lacks the horizontal stabilizers and looks like a box with wings. -

Oh god! The robot artwork in that is very reminiscent of an Energon aerialbot retool! Ugh, I am glad they did not go that route, that mold is okay, but with added parts to make it a triple changer, I think it would have sucked. -

True. Darth Revan should have had those. He might be referring to the walmart exclusive A-wing that includes Arnavel Crynd that will be released later this year. He said latest, not new. -

Thats what they did, and those elbows can bend at a ninety degree angle too, if pushed just a bit further. He reminds me of a Patton for the joes. Thats the main reason I want the figure. That looks good man, its very reminiscent of the same material used for wave 3 comic pack Storm Shadow's cloak. That inspires me to try sewing up ninja clothes for my Sigma 6 Storm Shadow collection. That sucks man, I am sorry to hear. I've noticed numerous stolen proof of purchases, and figure swaps in my area, with the joe comic packs, star wars comic packs, and star wars evolutions sets. -

The Anakin that was linked lacks ball jointed elbows they are still on swivels. The only ROTS Anakin figures that have ball jointed elbows on both arms are the Target order 66 one that just came out(maybe it doesn't count, its a Clone Wars repack with cloak), and the spirit of Anakin figure.
