  1. Gorgeous, definitely an inspiring build. I love 1/72 scale but this... might tip me over the edge!
  2. Thanks for everything Carl! We had some good times. Regards, Petar
  3. Wow, this all looks very cool. Particularly like 'The Fatty' - my favourite VOTOMS and that Yukikaze, nice work!
  4. I quite like the decal design. Where the hell is my Hasegawa VF-11 in 1/72 though?
  5. I find your avatar strangely appropriate for this post! It's eggsactly how I felt when I saw this....

    Supah Happy Party Set!

    They look fantastic. Great work!!!
  7. Really appreciate your sharp work! I need to make a little rotary table, as I've been looking for a little one too. Great inspiration.
  8. Glad I'm not a huge Gundam fan, or I'd understand that joke. Oh wait... ...no seriously, the Gundam decals are a fantastic resource for any scifi modeler. I use them on all sorts of things - even some Star Wars stuff! Really looking forwards to seeing this build assembled too!
  9. Wow Vince, great to see another of my favourite Macross mechas see the light of day. Very nice work! Tell us about the Killer Whale reference, unless I missed it already...
  10. I can't wait to see this assembled, it's looking fantastic. Also encouraging me to complete my next one. It's almost ready for primer.
  11. I'm in for one!
  12. Wow! Nice scheme. Needs a seperate thread... with more pics!
  13. Fantastic to see a date set. Not 100% sure if I can make it now though, might be able to get up for an afternoon, we will have to see. Well done RusskiiVFaussie!!
  14. A solid start there - looking forwards to more.
  15. Wow, and another VF2SS! You're on fire. Can't wait to see more... I love this aircraft.
  16. Wow, I can't believe I've just seen this thread. I was just about to paint up my next VF-2SS in.. this scheme! I thought it would look good sitting next to this one. However I'm going to have to think again now. I would rather see someone else do it. Kind of weird, but it leaves me more room for customising now. I really like what you've done with the extra customising. You're right about the panel-lining on this kit - it's just badly done on the legs. Your extra panels and detailing look fantastic, and I can't wait to see this bird finalised. How did you conform the plastic sheeting onto the legs? Once again, great work!
  17. Wow, that looks beautiful!
  18. Favourite SF movie of all time would have to be ALIENS. The tough as nails marines, the fact that Ripley finds her maternal side in unexpected places, the hardware, and that final battle - "GET AWAY FROM HER, YOU BITCH!" I absolutely love it. I watched it the other day, and it's hasn't dated badly at all. THE FOUNTAIN is another favourite of mine that no one seems to have heard of. Beatiful themes, tragic story, and amazing visuals of a truly transcendent spaceship flying towards a distant nebula.... unforgettable...
  19. Wow, this should be interesting! Looking forwards to seeing what you can do with it!
  20. Well I ordered one. Looking forwards to seeing what I can do with it. It's been awhile since I've done any anthropomorphic mecha...
  21. Just beautiful work. I never thought a toy could look so great.
  22. Actually, I have to agree with you. To be honest I was thinking around half, maybe 2/3 of what they are retailing for.
  23. I've been experimenting with gloss finishes. But if you don't do it right, you can get a very toy-like finish. I think the VF-1 definitely needs a flat finish. The valks from MacrossII and Macross7 seems to call for a well managed gloss finish...
  24. Someone mentioned Jar-Jar Binks. It's almost spoilt this Tomahawk for me!
  25. That Raptor looks hot! I can't wait to see a completed version.
