Haha, it provokes the complete opposite reaction from me! I wonder if anyone can do a summary.

Looks better and better. Thanks for the pic!

I like that Cat's Eye - the cockpits look great. Is there a gloss finish on there, or is that just a camera effect?

Diamond Age was brilliant. I think if you go into Reamde realising its 1) Not up to his usual standard & 2) Not science fiction, I think you'll enjoy it a lot more. By the time they had left China I realised what was going on, reduced my expectations and just kept along for the ride. I think the ending was particularly weak. But I still enjoyed it, and would recommend it. For the record, I also like the Cryptonomicon! Anyway, American Gods was quite good. I believe a movie is in development, but I could be wrong. Odin is perfectly realised! It could have done with a bit of tightening up though. I believe theres's a Paulo Bagicalupi book coming out soon. I quite enjoyed his previous novel, so I'll give this one a go and report back once it's out.

I think at this point you should just try and get your kit back. Then find a professional builder who can agree to a date and give you a budget. I did this kind of work for many years, and it put me through university. If it's treated as a professional transaction from both sides - not an amateur one - everyone gets an outcome they want. I haven't done it for many years though, I only model for myself now, I burnt out doing it professionally back in the day...

The Amazing Spider-Man, on Blu-Ray/DVD Nov. 9, 2012

It certainly looks a lot more exciting than the previous trailers. I just wish it was a different story . . . -
I looks forward to a time when we have a 'superhero' not fighting a 'supervillain'. I do love the current spate of super hero movies in general, but they certainly have become tremendously forumulaic.

O/T stands for 'Off Topic', which in this case would mean non-Macross artwork.

Looks like an epic conclusion to a groundbreaking trilogy. I can't wait. I know Nolan's vision of Batman has its detractors, but from the first one, I've been a huge fan.

Great work! I particularly like the second one as to me, it's the most realistic looking. The idea on the final one is great, the canopy just doesn't quite come off. Never the less, awesome job!

Congrats on getting it printed finally. Please post casting pics ASAP! I'd love to see the cleaned up version. I think I'll be putting a couple of my pilots in this one...

That's a nice sentiment, and they are great resin kits... but unlike the Wave kits, the Moscato versions aren't exactly 'available'!

I saw it last night. It rocked. Hard. Go see it!

Oh this is good news. The other two wave destroids are fantastic.

Can't wait to see them! I don't think I've seen anyone else's Commanchero besides mine. I wish more people would post their builds....
-
Very clean. Great work! I've cracked open my box, but not done any assembly as yet... how did it go together for you? What do you think about the kit?

Prometheus - on Blu-Ray and DVD Oct. 9, 2012

I think it's useless, engineering-wise, to make assumptions from a few stills. Take a look at this: Have you ever seen a more inane set of callouts on such a cool looking ship. Probably written by the marketing department... Anyway, this ship looks better and better! Wouldn't a styrene kit be nice! -
They are great shots. She looks battle-scarred. I haven't seen that nacelle cover for years...

I'm doing some hiking in the Tasmanian wilderness towards the end of the year. I don't think we'll get to see any FA/18s though... I imagine seeing them from above passing below you would have looked amazing. I live on a peninsula which while isn't 'underpopulated' it's right next to a national park. Once or twice a year we will hear the roar of jets above and we will rush outside to look into the sky, and then you realise how fast they actually are. I never, ever, have time to grab a camera.

[Commission] Destroid Tomahawk Wargames Mini (Preproduction)

Well I think he's already posted the unpainted versions here, if I recall correctly. Anyway, great work! Good luck with Studio Nue... that's negotiation is going to be a tough one. -
No way!

Here you go, I found you a more user friendly time-travel poster. Look, he's even checking his watch to see the... time. As for LOOPER, it looks awesome. Will be there!

Ah, you're a grumpy old man now eh, Graham? Girls walking around in their bathing suits? Where do I buy a ticket? But, yes I agree with main point - it would be good to see a new Macross property. I thought they might create a Macross: The Ride anime. That's ripe for adaptation, the 'race' format would make a perfect movie or miniseries.
