From what I can read, it's a completed product - i.e. constructed and painted. Source of thes pics: http://happy.ap.teacup.com/runchickens/255.html Edit: Adding two more slightly different pics from HK newsgroup. Are the 'legs' of DYRL Macross suppose to be that far apart in ship mode?

Yeah these are luxury stuff so just buy them when you have extra money. And you don't have to keep buying to be part of this place or just keep tap on the Macross toys - I only got one 1:55, 1:60 and 1:48 volks. And like many other mass produced toys you can usually buy them again when they re-issue. The real scam are those randomly packaged poo - pokemon cards, bionical masks etc. They make extremely high profit over what will be completely worthless once the fade is over.

I really hate this kibble change. Instead of part of the body now they looks like extra pieces that should be thrown away.
-
Oh yeah they are looking sweet. I am going to get the whole CCA releases. Edit: Big pics: http://www6.ocn.ne.jp/~midori-b/newpic/nes-g0339.htm http://www6.ocn.ne.jp/~midori-b/newpic/nes-g0342.htm http://www6.ocn.ne.jp/~midori-b/newpic/nes-g0340.htm http://www6.ocn.ne.jp/~midori-b/newpic/nes-g0341.htm

HCM Pros use the same hard plastic as Gunpla models. A few special will come in soft plastic, e.g. the V-fin and open hands. They usually include a hard plastic version of V-fin as well.

Another post from HK: http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic....c05fc7f5a006941 This guy has no complain, and got tons of good photos.

Just saw some QC complains from HK: http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=39501 Translation: Poster and two friends bought 3 VF-0S together from the same store. One has a broken tail fin, left leg missing magnet, right leg has a 2mm gap - refunded. One's left leg has inverted magnet (i.e. repel the fast pack), fixed by surgery. One has very loose hinges. Probably will get an exchange/refund. Two of the three have loose gunpod handle. P.S. One of the foot move to wrong location when folded. (not quite sure what he means) There is one reply say he has similar issue with loose hinges, and another saying his copy is fine and well painted. Well I hope you guys have better luck.

It seems a few copies may got the wrong shoulder: http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=39288

Graham: Will it come with the launch arm extension as shown in these pics? http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/events...ter/vf-0s-5.jpg http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/events...ter/vf-0s-7.jpg The launch arm looks very different from what we currently have, and allows the gun to be installed in fighter mode.

Some pic of VF-0 and other valks can be found here: http://www.dannychoo.com/blog_entry/eng/41...+Winter+part+3/ The stealth looks nice. The cameo only looks good in fighter mode - it match that 70's feeling. But even Takara/Hasbro add small changes to the body when they do re-colour. What's up with this cheap re-colour from Yamato that still charge a very high premium? Come on just do a VE-1 or VT-1 or VF-1D.

Not sure. Most of the other scans posted yesterday came from HJ, but this one have no tag. http://globe.visualmedia.com.hk/vm.php?art...ticle_id=198478

Variable Fighter Star Wars X-Wing and TIE Fighter
CF18 replied to wolframbane's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I guess they just want to copy the success of weird and odd SD Gundam, and gone a little too far. I bet the kids love those. -
I don't think these are the same ones. The ones from HLJ are 6,000yen a pop They are the same. HLJ is selling the package of 10 randomly selected sets. Normally in Japan a toy store opens the big package and sell individual set at 600yen each.

I manage to find a brief review: http://www.geocities.jp/hetare_d_max/galle...MPTSR_ASC1.html I know I shouldn't have too much hope for a 600yen trading figure, but damn they look poor compare to my macross figs.

Any 20 or 30 something HK residents?
CF18 replied to Otaku-Smeghead's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You sure it wasn't one of the many Kamen Riders? http://www.igadevil.com/kamenridersindex.html I only remembered watching Kamen Rider Black in HK, but that may be a bit late for 1986. It was the first one that actually have cool looking suit. In general for both TV channels life-action shows like Ultra-man and Kamen Riders were shown in Saturday and Sunday mornings. But it is certainly possible to see them in afternoon slots too. I saw Macross, Orguss and Touch around those years. You may try look around in other sites to see anything that may match: http://www.generationkikaida.com/ http://www.supersentai.com/ -
