One major thing missing from this list - Macross 25. It seems unlikely that Yamato would miss their license for Macross 25 designs while retaining the license for older Macross. Big West would love to be able to flood the market with Macross toys like Gunpla, but they can only do that with multiple toy makers. We will probably see Yamato do the high-end toys while Kaiyodo or others do the med-range toys.

Well at least HLJ carry those limited revoltech before, so they are not those totally hard to get outside of Japan mail order only kind of deals. No mention of limited item in the official ad.

Speaking of which, is Yamato getting the license to make all the new Macross 25 valks? If Yamato get the license then they will be busy with that and have no time to spend on any older designs. Big West may decide to choose someone else. Bandai is unlikely since they will be busy with the new Gundam and other Sunrise stuff. Takara-Tomy still have new Transformer etc. That leaves all the smaller shops so they probably stick with Yamato.

If you want to see official comparision between Gundams and Valks, just play SRW Alpha. In Alpha, Valks's main strengths are speed and small size. So they almost never get hit, but they have very low armour and HP so they can be killed by just one hit. They have good fire power, especially after getting the reaction weapons. However VF-1 only have one weak melee weapon, so you need to be careful with the ammo count. And a big 'meh' to those Megablok Gundam. Same old cheape Megablok plastic don't worth half the price they are charging.
