  1. Just saw one listed here: http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-675927.html
  2. CF18

    Max and Millia V2s

You missed the sale 1.5 year ago: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=31918&st=0&p=812401 I missed the VE-1 from that one too...
  3. CG vs DX V2 fighter Highest res images I can find for the new DX: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10153639a/20/1 I think I will wait to see how the add-on will come out first, and wait for a VF-25G super/tornado.
  4. Found it here: http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-158716-1-1.html Which looks like standard press release pic they release to hobby stores.
  5. All 3 modes.
  6. Take a look again: The missile bay take a large volume. It don't seems to conflict with the landing gears, but conflict with the gun storage and any hinges they would want inside the legs.
  7. Bandai Hobby, who make models and HCM toys, and Bandai Collector, who make collectible toys, works like different company and often compete with each other. We can see them use separate tables in the same trade shows, and run their own separate trade show like Gunpla Festival v.s. Tamashii Festival. Here is a similar observation from an employee of the official US distributor of Bandai. And the models are not that 'perfect'. Sure they look good from a skilled model builder, but they are really fragile and difficult to play with. The sticker and decal are too translucent and looks poor on dark color units, see example. There are other problems like oversize landing gears.
  8. They were 12000 yen MSRP.
  9. Added V1 to the image: I see so many differences, it is doubtful that any pieces of the old fast/armor/tornado packs can fit.
  10. Web address is here: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN968698 But temporal address say "you are late." Don't worry too much. Initial release DX VF-25F was also very popular with initial supply shortage.
  11. How about just make the whole missile thing swappable - bay door closed, and bay door opened with missiles lowered. Then it will not need to take up internal space.
  12. A detailed review from Japan: http://hima-toy.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2011/06/dx_yf-29-yf-29-.html
  13. Nice to see the micro missiles are painted, which was all un-painted in all older pics.
  14. The events that started at UC0069 to right before attack on Side 7 are covered by vol 9 to vol 14 of the manga, so there are lot's of material. To tease a little more, here is a scene from vol 12: One blue MS-04, one red and some black MS-05:
  15. Good news. The Origin is a rather good Gundam manga IMO. Some small things were changed so they make more sense, e.g. Gun Cannon and Gun Tank were already EFSF mass production unit before they started on Gundam. There are much more details on early Zeon movement from the revolts to MS developments. The best part is much more detail coverage of Char and Sayla, from their childhood to how Casval take over Char's identity, giving Char as much 'screen' time as Amuro. I hope the anime can keep those detail.
  16. And on top of that we are getting no destroids and only 2 Zentradi units in those scale - revo Reguld and RD Queadluun-Rhea. If they have gone with small scale destroids we may have a revo Spartan or even a GN-U Monster MkII.
  17. 2nd year (or longer?) that they are not wasting time on a kid's toy show.
  18. FW Macross Frontier The Movie Nyannyan Heroines 2nd Stage 8 pieces 6400 yen. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10150001
  19. http://www.hlj.com/product/KAM02037 http://www.hlj.com/product/KAM03026 The battroid mode only ones are like mini revoltech.
  20. It's suppose to come out this month. http://ga.sbcr.jp/mprize/016105/ No idea why it's not showing up in stores. Even this May release got a "Order Stop".
  21. Another missed boat here, waiting for a re-issue.
  22. Yamato has posted additional instructions about part sorting and construction tips: Part1: http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_096/index.html Part2: http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_097/index.html Part3: coming soon Can a model owner post a full scan of the construction manual? It can be very useful for the toy owner who may want to paint the toy or repair the toy.
  23. Never heard about it, and chance of that is 0. RG Wing 0 may have a chance, but the rumor for next RG is Turn-A. Bandai will need to finish the MG Wing line first anyway. Back on Macross, Bandai can still give us some surprises: The Konig Monster is just about A+ in all area. Looks close to line art with perfect transformation, good detail, good paint job, strong construction, and about 0 QC complain.
  24. Another idea for the missile bay: make the missiles and launch arms swappable, like the landing gears on VF-100 VF-25. The bay door can be hinged, or swappable with the rest of the launch arm. The bay door can also give user access to the gun pod area, as the proper way to manually push the gun out or to un-jam it.
  25. So the folded gun pod is stored on the inner side of the right leg, then you pull it out from a small door on the outer/front side of the leg. And then we want the landing gear, missile bay and ratchet hinge in the same leg too. The designer is going to say what a nightmare! But when it work we will say it is the VF-17 Nightmare come true!
