  1. This is awesome. Great costumes. Have fun you guys.
  2. No I meant, for me to give all my valks MG hands.
  3. What are the chances for me then?
  4. Hi All, My little cousin would like a few tunes for her exam, this is the free part where they try to impress the examiner with a song that they are not assigned to play, and they can choose whatever song they want. My cousin like Macross and would like to know if she could get the sheet music for: DYRL? Light the Light Remember 16 Heart and Soul And other if possible. Can anyone help? Much appreciated.
  5. If that's the case, then someone just got really ripped off. I can get 7 valks for that price.
  6. I'd love them to try me. *cracks knuckles* Oh damnit...I don't dress like a geek. Never really like those shirts. Ever since I started my new course I always dressed professionally. The only time I wear trackies are in the gym.
  7. $1445 USD????!!!!
  8. I can't wait to see comparisons.
  9. Well, unlike the 1/48, the hands of the Zero don't "flip" back into the forearm but recess slightly. The size of the fist is even moreso constrained by the size of the forearm, if you don't get it right, you can't transform it...cause the backpack won't be able to fold. With a 1/48, you can take advantage of the huge length space of the forearm to fit the hand in. Haterist, I wouldn't be so quick to buy, the MG hands make a good base for a new hand design, but remember that there is no wrist articulation.
  10. You're not helping!
  11. Guys don't encourage Yamato to make all there is out there. Next thing you know, we'll have a Max and Millia Arcade Game Colour VF-1As.
  12. I liked the series, it's just so hard to get here. As well as the models.
  13. I would have thought that the PG hands ar waaaaay too big. Sure they are better, but PGs are 1/60 scale, and MGs are 1/100, which fit pretty much perfectly in the pic that Twoducks posted.
  14. Hey twoducks, you're a legend. That's what I wanted, I only took the 1/100 scale hands off my only gundam kit to compare, but you have an acutal MG to use. The great thing is, that the modifications are subtractive, you have to shave off some of the ball joint to fit it in. Also hands from VF to VF are mainly the same, it's just the back plate of each VF that is different. Look from VF-1 to VF-0 to YF-19. That's all you have to change. I wouldn't mind scratchbuilding something like that. Thanks mate. Graham, you should show this to Yamato. They will hang their heads in shame. You can look at it in two ways, Bandai beat them in something or the Gundam has finally outdone the Valkyrie. Finally Gundams came in useful for something.
  15. Oh good. It's best that I don't end up in the middle of bloody Kings Park,. which is 20 km from where i actually live.
  16. We heard zip so far. Even the HK suppliers are styaing quiet.
  17. Well looking at it now, of course it isn't good. I'd collect it just for the memories. Cause my childhood (all one decade and a half ago) was deprived of Macross. And I do disagree that the Toynami version of Voltron is good. The old Lionbots had way better proportions, I hate the legs of the lions. And they had more accessories too. Bulk up the lions and the details and I'm there. For three only. But if it is the at the price that the ad has mentioned, I'll be waiting a long time. I'd rather spend that money on a Low Viz. EDIT: Oh s h i t. it's a limited edition figure.
  18. They didn't really think of the presentation of the back...
  19. Also, I find it harder to flick them out the way Yamato tucks them in. Usually it's a batty, and I give up and take the whole thing out, wrist and all, reconfigure it then put it back in.
  20. I fold them up and put em back in. I just don't spread the hands out in the retarded way that Yamato packs up their valks, I clench the palm into a fist as far as it will go and tuck it back into the forearm.
  21. Don't worry ruskii, Mephistopheles had a hint of sarcasm in that post. There was no Stealth in the TV series.
  22. I wanted the hands to be like an MG, but can recess into the forearms by folding it in a flat palm, fingers together position or the same thing just with the thumb folded. I would have thought that would be enough.
  23. I would feel really sorry, REALLY SORRY for a transformer that ended up as a camera, cell phone, or gameboy.
  24. I don't think that my VF-1 is THAT blocky.
  25. I do believe that it is a Toynami Voltron in the picture.
