I have a lot of them , so I use them even if they don't have the FAST Packs on. It's like a prophylaxis treatment against wearing out the tabs that you have to push past to complete Battroid mode.

Yep ok. I pop the head forward out on it's black plate, put in the support piece and then fit the head back in. Tight, but it works better.

Not to mention that you actually need to use the support piece, if you play with your valks that hinge is not sufficient to hold up the FAST Packs.

I'd like to have an explanation for the rest of the technologies, such as the removal (assumed) of the fully sick anti-missile defense that tracks the pilots eye and links it to the head laser targeting computer.

I do not much about the size of the other Valks, but in reference to the relationship between the VF-1 and the VF-0, the Zero was made as a fill-in fighter that featured similar construction and design to the VF-1. But the VF-0 had to be made bigger to accommodate for the larger conformal fuel tanks that the VF-0s Engines had to have, because the Reaction engines designed for the VF-1 weren't ready yet.

Because Yamato isn't as big as the other companies, such as Bandai. In terms of working capital, they would have better economies of scale.

That's why I hope they will do their own interpretation. I don't mind a few structural changes. Like with the 1/48. The packaging is fine. There is plenty of clearance. They just have to tell their factory workers to pack it carefully, the fault comes down to them.

Oh that. Ok. The CF is a bit of a fruit salad yeah, you got DYRL? forearm parts with TV hands and a DYRL? head. Then you have the brown feet and intakes which neither of them should have.... Oh, and don't thank me for the pics, thank Mr March.

There is a subtle difference between a 1A head in the TV series and the DYRL?. Actually its rather significant. Look at the two. When they have absolutely NO other idea for a colour scheme, then they will make them both. Trust me. Just like the VF-1S Max.

I've only broken one hip block so far. It wasn't entirely my fault though, as Yamato did insert the rubber polycap before the paint dried. Thus it stuck and jammed the leg. Me not knowing any better, forced it. I put a warning topic up, and it's an easy preventative situation.

Actually, they used the FAST Packs twice. Once in "Love Drifts Away" and the other in "Viva Miria". I can't imagine a PT 1/60 VF-1 valk. The heatshield would break in my fingers. NO thanks.

I don't think that they will do a separate release of the separate. The FAST Packs for Max and Millia are so unique, they do not suit every valk. It would not do them any good business wise. I'm surprised that they were considering non-FAST pack versions, I thought you would get greater returns for a Set.

Lucky there is not much to do with the SV-51, it's only got one set of armour. I think I will get 7 each of Ivanov, Nora and a CF. As usual, I will buy one of the initial run and purchase the rest later, I played that game with the YF-19 and I am pleased I did that. I kept getting knocked with it in SGCollect forums, it's coming through even in the internet. I like stopping people in their tracks though, like wolfx, even unintentionally.
