My worry is that Kawamori's designs will just get weirder and more ridiculous if he runs out of ideas. I want Macross to live forever!

I understand. This is why I am doing a group buy, we are going to get it from a licenced dealer of their products, from Japan or HK. I will have to handle it with Valk-1S who has ordered it from HLJ before. I hope that my usual supplier can provide it, he is so much more reliable than them. HLJ comes through in the end, but they are the ones that tend to fubar things up a lot more. if they come loose all the better, the supplier can slap em in one big ass box and we can save on the shipping.

I dunno, is diecast really that strong? I remember snapping my Go-Lions when I was little, and they had heaps of diecast.

Like i said only about 5 are overstock. I bought them to keep, but there were some mistakes along the way.

Up to seven on most of them. The ones that are never shown with FAST Packs, I have about four of them. The ones which are shown with GBPs, I have a couple more in that type. I have around 100 (at least) 1/48s. And that has come to and end, as there are no more releases. Many people here would be pleased to hear that, my wallet certainly is. But alas, there are the new M+ and M0 valks out now..... I'll give an update in the appropriate thread started by Mowe on the weekend. If you want a few just ask, I have some overstock.

I think it's exposure. Kakizaki, or "Ben" had very little exposure in the DYRL? Film and one of the least popular. He took ages to be released. Actually I do think that it says DYRL? under the "Macross" writing on the very top and center. There are several others that were released, canon and non-canon. So far I think the "Ben" and "Max" TV versions of the VF-1As are not released, as well as the Maximilian Jenius DYRL? VF-1S.

I don't mind either way. My only regret is that most of it is a waste. The VF-9, VF-14 etc. deserve more than a game exposure. Perhaps they will return again to them.

With the other projects from Kawamori I would expect it to be later on in the year rather than sooner.

Perhaps the MPC is being remade to accomodate for a Beta? To solve the enigma of how the Alpha is going to attach to it in robot mode?
