Well I was hoping for the beautiful Miyatake designs myself, but I am glad that the 2D animation is up to todays standards, and that it is not too weird in style. Just right to me. I really can't wait for it to start. First ep is still due in December right?

I know it's hard, but i hope that there are "openings" in which the gunpods can hang in, revealing part of the barrels while the rest is being stored internally, that's the best I can hope for. That way, the whole gunpod is not taking up all the room while the legs are in there. I hate the face design, it's missing the green translucent bits that I love on the Yamato Battroid heads.

I would have liked the wings to span out a lot more, but it is the best I've seen so far. Battroid and Fighter look awesome. GERWALK is fugly, there is no way Yamato could ever hope to fix that, it's the nature of the design. I think that the light up "eye" is a bad idea and hope it is a effect put in the commercial and not a real feature of the toy. And yes, I hope that the gunpods are able to be internally stored. Can we at least have confirmation on that Graham? Hands look good, but in the end, they are just chicken hands. I didn't expect any better hands considering how it is stored on the YF-21. Legs could be a lot thicker, but they look just right, and I can deal with the thickness.

I just took a look at a couple of videos in Youtube. Animation looks gorgeous, but dunno about the story if that's what you say it is about..... Pity, it was on my to watch list.

They still owe us a VF-19A on that mold. That would be the last canon one.

Dude if they do that, then we can have Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Toys ! I'd be so in for a little modification to the original as long as it makes it work.

That's what I found funny, i expected the weathering to come off, but I didn't know if the nosecone was blue underneath, which seems silly really, why paint it blue then over again with something else?

I hope what you guys say is true. The only reason why I don't think it is so is probably cause I am reading into it literally, as a US Limited Edition. Just wanted to ask whether he painted the nosecone blue or was it like that after a good clean?

I'm so waiting for them to release a limited edition Sunstorm. I so badly want a US version of SS. That looks alright really.

Actually, I don't see that in the future. Yours is more detailed now in the areas you gone through. You presentation of the data exceed theirs, even better than the series that they put the most effort in, which is Gundam. Mind you, they will only be ahead of you in terms of the latest mecha. I forsee them getting specs on the VF-25 first though. Unless Egan Loo beats them out on the compendium, and you can work off that. BTW, very minor point: From the front page, look at the difference:

Animation doesn't look half bad either. Really up to today's standards. Macross Zero-y in terms of Mecha, but Gundam Double O-ish in terms of animated characters. Love the Hikaru scheme. He LIVES!!!! Seems funny to go back to a design that so closely resembles the Zero and Valkyrie though.

Hmmm....seems like they are focusing on a solo act rather than a band this time. Wonder who the enemy is. Can't wait to see it.

I never got that atmospheric one. It was really ugly, probably the ugliest, save for that funny one that can only stay in GERWALK-like mode the whole time and has missiles on the tips of it's wings. It only got shown for a few seconds in the anime before getting kamikazed by a Marduk.

Actually I take my vote back for the 21. If there is any valk that is worse in design and aesthetics, it's the Metal Siren and most of the Valks in the Macross II Universe.

YF-21 is overrated. Not that interesting to me.
