  1. Now that is something that I will never fall for.
  2. This is what i can make out with the help of a friend. Tried my best, sorry if it's not much help.
  3. Sounds like they are staying away from the VF-1 Ground at the moment with the Revoltech ones out.
  4. 10 - 15 cm doesn't seem like a bad size at all. Like a Gundam FIX really.
  5. The concept of a helicopter in space is stupid enough.
  6. So you are saying, just make the VF-11 into a 1/48 scale, but stick the words 1/60 on the box. That's just Dodge McGee mate.
  7. Yeah, sorry.
  8. Too good to leave in the box. Toys were never meant to be MIB. Unless you have multiples.
  9. 1/60-ish so to speak. They bumped it up, but still called it a 1/60.
  10. Everything looks a-ok to me.
  11. You make it look really really good Swoosh. Stop it! I wanna buy 7 now!
  12. Maybe. I hate the idea of them fudging it though. But ever since the 1/48, they seem to just be using CAD, so I think that fudging is less likely. I vote for a bump in scale that will make the thing ~30 cm long in fighter mode.
  13. I believe that the 1/48 non-limited editions should keep being re-released as long as there is demand, it is undoubtedly the best VF-1 toy that transforms. Just to keep people happy.
  14. They could copy the Studio Halfeye one where it folds out. As for Grahams comment, it may well not be in a 1/60 scale, but a 1/48. This might be the case, as a VF-11 at 1/60 scale is too small. A VF-11 scale to scale with a VF-1 is around the same size, and those of you with the recent 1/60s (YF-19, VF-0) would know that they stand just as tall if not taller than the 1/48 VF-1.
  15. nevermind. Just agreeing with Shin on the busy parts of the CAD.
  16. I love the VF-1, but I agree with Roy, the 1/48, must run to completion with the single seaters by making the VF-1A Max and Kakizaki SDFMacross version, and also the VF-1S Max DYRL? Version. Unless they do decide to do two-seaters (i.e. change their current standpoint on it) I will not be interested in any more non-canon variations on the 1/48.
  17. Woah.... Looks like I won't be selling my 3 extra Fold Boosters after all. Well, Maybe one...
  18. Short Message Service (i.e. text messaging via mobiles [cells for you Americans])
  19. Woah, those personal pics do look good.....
  20. I concur. Valks in 44 Litre tubs do not make for an impressive display. dafunguy I love your shelves. I just got one for my graduation present, although the wood is all black. Those shelves rule.
  21. Delta Wing (a la VF-0D) anyone? The only sad thing is the lack of destroids. I know that they are useless, but if destroids are useless then you can just imagine how crap a tank or mobile armour is, and by cutting destroids out of the picture and not bring them back in some uber powerful form, then we are missing out on a huge section of potentially delicious mecha designs and battles. At the very least please Kawamori, variable fastpacks, as many as the VF-11, if not more.
  22. I do hope that they are two different systems, but I'm prepared to be wrong. What's good is that the FAST Packs are including armour this time around, something that GBPs took care off. But yet this still allows transformation, which means that it must be unarmoured in some places, but that is offset by the fact that it can still transform and move quickly unlike GBPs. I still see a crapload of missiles while the heavily armoured GERWALK is transforming to Battroid though. I hope we get to see plenty of the good old 3M. The only thing I don't like is that this new armour system has it's dorsal equipment on the wings. As of yet though, what I don't like is the lack of variants for the 25. Those cosmetic changes are what counts!
  23. Which is a gross generalisation. You're not speaking on behalf of all those that collect toys. You're manipulating non-existent facts to support your own argument. It just looks ugly cause you don't like the design. And it's a mecha that is capable of transforming. Not just a robot, or a fighter. Completely different. And yes, Bandai is incapable of making a model kit that is better than a Yamato toy, because, well, it's a model and not a toy. Ever heard of not comparing apples and oranges? Other than their nutritional content?) It's called "multiple paint schemes." Why release a toy with ONE colour variant? Not a good way to get your money's worth in your investment. You're making a lot of excuses for them. And if you think that the Air Master is the epitome of what Gundam Plamodels have to offer, then there is a problem. Both would be good. That way we have the more robust and ready to go toys available and the good models for those that want to get creative. I still don't think that he got the point. Rest assured though, what you said is dead true. I am too.
  24. First of all, I only disagree with you on one statement you made, so don't start taking itas a personal affront. Also, I did not say that joints on toys will stay tight and never become loose. But I will damn well say that toy joints stay tighter a hell of a lot longer and also a hell of a lot easier to fix than a Plamodel. And without going to too much nitpicking, my definition of fix is something that will take five minutes and last just as long as I had owned the toy for.
