  1. The special including Ep 1 was 1 hour. Alone, the 1st episode is roughly 26 minutes.
  2. Does the heatshield work the same way I wonder? Or is it a different method of moving it into place from fighter to battroid? Just want to make sure of this fact, I want to hypothesise how the two seaters would work, particularly the DYRL? ones. You would have thought they'd make a chunkier gunpod to make it actually LOOK like a gunpod instead of a long barrelled pistol now that they have all that room with the arms further off the ground.
  3. If you want the wrath of all four corners of the world upon you, go ahead.
  4. You'd think that Yamato designed those boxes to help smuggle in extra toys.
  5. Man the new Tailfin sucks, and the landing gear does not seem to have as good detail to it, I wonder if it is still better than the 1/60 though. The cockpit of the 1/48 seems to be more line art accurate, the new 1/60 seems to have a double bump. While it never really bothered me, I'll admit that the arms sit higher on the new 1/60 than the 1/48.
  6. To speed things up afterwards, I recommend also downloading CCleaner and then running Augloics Diskdefrag. YOu'll find much improvement.
  7. I use a combination of Windows Defender (free), AVG Free, Ad-Aware and also Zonealarm for prevention of future intrusions.
  8. I meant that Kawamori interview one, I have no idea what the hell the one on this page is all about.
  9. I'd be cautious too, I handled one of the Toynami's, they were terrible, I can't even begin to wonder what the bloody Aoshima would be like. I really want this to work, but it looks pretty cheap so far. Cool thing is that there are three colours of Tleads to choose from. I'm seriously considering getting this as I just bought the Mospeada boxset, and have to say that the original Japanese one was pretty damn good. Can't wait to get the Mospeada's too. For the Tlead and Legioss, my hopes are really riding on this one, well, cause it's really the only choice I have to choose from.
  10. Problem is, it looks like it probably needs it to be a bloomin match for these aliens. The lego model looks like a cross between a SV-51 and a VF-14 Vampire.
  11. What does seem stupid in a sense, if it takes a lot of work to make the two styles of two-seaters, is that Yamato might as well have modified the 1/48 after all. I'm really interested to see how they do it.
  12. I understand about what you are saying that no one looks at the bottom of the toy, but overall the thicker legs will make the fighter "fatter," and that is what makes is look ridiculous in fighter mode from all angles, not just the bottom, while looking cool in Battroid mode. What Yamato have done, is create a compromise between both. Personally I myself still hate the smallish wings, but to make them any bigger would distort the shape of the fighter. Oh well off to work now.
  13. The CAD art made it look particularly skinny, but the real thing is alright.
  14. I myself, am really interested in seeing how music takes it's place in Macross Frontier, in a new way or if it's the old hat stuff.
  15. Actually he's got me there, I've seen no numbers on the VF-4 or the 11 or the old VF-17 in Macross 7....
  16. Your evidence is compelling, I'm sure that the "J" after the VF-1 meant nothing, and they were part of this Variable Fighter Group 1 J. So only prototypes get their name on the chassis. I didn't know that.
  17. deadghost, easy on the posting son. that's 3 for 1!
  18. Veritech? WTF.... We haven't even had the minute details of the VF-25 shown to us yet. In the original series, the VF-1 is shown to display it's model number, and I can also remember in Macross Plus the YF-21 having it's own model number printed on it, and more recently the VF-0. A big clue is this VF is based off a well known one in the Macross Universe, the VF-17.
  19. Gee boss, but the evidence is so compelling...I think I'll put my collection on the "117"....
  20. One instance of 117 does not make the "171" -> "117." every other time you see on the fighter it shows the numbers 171. The writing you saw on the computer projection was merely an error, or perhaps the 117th fighter commissioned in the Frontier forces.
  21. First time? I thought MII had a gay character in it?
  22. Bingo, nice accessory to go with the Shin.....
  23. Way better than the clown colours they chose for the other one. I'm getting this one.
  24. Merry Christmas Bro!
