  1. Right. Because again: Not other times.
  2. Or perhaps hire the guy that made the VF-1 in the first place? Aren't all designers freelancers? Like I said before, Macross is about being a plane AND a robot, not one or the other. I've never seen Bandai do a good aircraft. In all the years and up till now that eugimon's been on this board, this is not the case. And might I remind you, he is being very restrained compared to many others. You're just reading things the way you want to read it.
  3. That's BS. I'm not a hardcore TF fan, but I would have loved to have one. Pretty much impossible for me now.
  4. Infinite by May'n. Awesome song.
  5. I want a final version and coloured prototype before I make final judgement. But I share many of eugimon's criticisms. The first thing that hit me though, within the first few seconds of seeing this is that the back half of the fighter is wrong. It looks really disproportionate to the front of the fighter, like it's been squeezed. GERWALK mode is also very bad in terms of limbs. They just seem to hang. The 1/48 VF-1 does not do this, and the transformation to this point are very similar. Battroid I can't make out clearly. To Bandai, make the joints a lot tighter, and paint the damn thing. Then I'll take a second look.
  6. Ep 7 was one of the best I've seen. The animation rocked, and I loved the action sequences. Also a few homages here too, and the final song that Sheryl sang was great. I'm wanting that as soon as the OST is out. She looked hot too!
  7. Wushu is hard to pin it down in the Chinese martial arts as to what it is. I've heard it being used as a blanket term for Chinese martial arts, and also just a Chinese "art," not fighting as such, but moreso, the "form." If you are more specifically targeting and looking for the more practical Chinese arts, it would be Sanda. Which, in my mind, is still not practical as someone can win in Sanda by pushing his opponent out of the ring.
  8. What is good is that he drops that gay persona when things get serious. The true depth of his character comes to life then. I thought he was just that annoying character in the background, but that is not the case.
  9. I'd say that they are trying to illustrate something like spiritia again. At the belly, there resides your hara, and it is at this one point where all your ki or internal energy comes from. This is one of the philosophies of eastern martial arts.
  10. Looks alright hey. I'm not that excited, but it's a kit, so I'll be eagerly waiting or the DX. I think it will be better.
  11. What's cool is that apparently he can control two Ghost fighters which he has also nicknamed, one being Yohan. DRAGOONS anyone? This might be the coolest part of Frontier yet. A couple of support craft like in Raiden Fighters.
  12. Interesting if you have both the Shinsen and the Gattai subs, you compare the two videos, when Klan Klan tries to get at Michel, the arm animations are totally different. It's as if the Shinsen one has less frames.
  13. It's part of the cockpit. Already there.
  14. So far even though there are homages, they never exactly play out the way that we expect. I can say that Alto has a good a chance of getting on with Sheryl at the end rather than Ranka.
  15. Thanks guys. I just bought the Luca's Strike E MG with I.W.S.P, and I can't wait to build my first MG kit. The thing is, I looked back to my Infinite Justice, and i noticed that the paint on the edges were off. I used Tamiya spray can and a lat coat on it afterwards as well. What went wrong there? I haven't touched it in months. Was my final coat not well done? Should I have primed it?
  16. hmmm...the Gattai .ass file for the latest ep is not out yet.
  17. For one man...so much to do and so little time to do it. At this point, I would say the show is more important than the toys, as the show is airing right NOW and there is a schedule to follow. Toys can wait. But I don't mind them releasing the el-cheapo shitty non transforming toys as a filler.
  18. What was even weirder, is that the person was dressed as Basara, from what little I could make of the waist and also arm bands. It sure as hell wasn't the first guitarist we saw.
  19. It means thunderbolt or lightning in an indian dialect, but it is represented by a metal weapon. In ancient Japan, Monks were known to have used this as weapons for defense, much like the sai or jitte to parry swords. These days I think they usually use it just as a symbol, rather than the practical applications that they used to use it for. If you want to know more, your should read "Secrets of the Samurai" by Adele Westbrook.
  20. Shows that people are only there for the action scenes.
  21. Me too. It's different, but still cool.
  22. It'll only take half the work to make the other destroids now. Legs are just a straight copy of each other.
  23. I guess they chose it to keep in line with the gods theme.
  24. I use Bittorrent. I haven't had any problems, yet.
  25. Does anyone here have both the Crossbones Gundam MG and also the ver Kai MG? Other than the soft cloth cloak and possibly some colour differences, is there any difference in the structure of the crossbones MG? Gundams are actually good to start off building and painting. Might move on after to more complicated kits later.
