  1. THey made all that out of one little mistake from by Anime Friend? <_< Pulse autocannon? What kind of crap will they think of next? I just had to laugh at the VFX-4 stats. Battloid Mode and Armament are "classified". I think I can pretty much guess the reason why.
  2. The Minmay stickers on the one that you done were awesome. Didn't like the new Minmay guard ones. Bleck.
  3. patience young one. Good things come to those who wait... Doesn't matter how long it will be when they come, but are they going to do it?
  4. You know I meant bigger scales of the Mac+ toys but not necessarily 1/48 scale. If the VF-1's are going well at ~30cm height then they should adjust the scale to make it around this size. Probably a 1/55 or 1/60. I didn't necessarily say that it should be done in 1/48.
  5. The best oldie hands down is "Johnny B. Goode" Oh yeah that too.
  6. There has been some talk about the re-issues, re-modelling, rescaling and whatnot about the Yamato products in general. I started this thread to gather opinions and educated guesses and good reasoning as to why or why not Yamato will do this and do that. Questions such as "will they make a Kakizaki in 1/48 scale?" etc. Here's a few of my questions. 1. Will Yamato make a 1/48 VF-1A Kakizaki/VF-1A CF/ TV versions of Max and Kakizaki? - I believe they will have to make a Kakizaki VF-1A because it involves a simple colour change and that his decals appear on all the 1/48 stickers sheets. So far it stands true that a VF-1A and S have come about, and we know that a VF-1J is coming out in the near future for sure. Some people have said that a Max and Millia is inevitable as they would simply try to milk all they can out of one mold and their decals. There are arguments against this about how it is hard for Yamato to keep up with the costs or something like that, and I would like someone to explain this to me as I'm not sure how this would effect Yamato economically. 2. Will Yamato make larger scales of Macross Plus Toys? - well there have been rumours circulating around Lebhead's and Valk-Exchange's forums and I know that they are only rumours, but think about it why not? They kind of did that with the VF-1 line right? Start off with a smaller scale as a test or sampler to see if there's still a market out there for VF or even just Macross in general, and then perfect it. I agree with what a member of this forum has said once that the Yamato line of Macross Plus toys are not a good example of Yamato's capabilities. They can be better! If this is as good as it gets I'll buy the current ones, but if a larger scale that is improved in the future is coming up, I'll hold up for that. 3. 1/48 Scale GBP-1 - well....some people said it will never happen for the 1/60's and look what happened recently. I reckon it looks a bit scrappy, but Yamato will hopefully fix that up before release. What the hell though, we're getting a GBP anyway! Hooray! 4. Why don't Yamato give an official release schedule that is subject to change without notice? - would certainly help if Yamato kept this sort of thing up on their website or something like that. It would help in the sense that we could do some financial planning, they know that there are fans out there that are very interested in their products. I know that they have mentioned such things as the Destroids and Quaelunn-Rau, but I'm talkin much further into the future. Or isn't it good to extrapolate on things like that as it might be hard to keep their promises? 5. Yamato will move on to Macross 7 toys , Macross II and Flashback 2012 - I know that Bandai "have the Macross seven licence sown up tighter that a fly's ass" to quote a member of this forum, but licences expire don't they? Seeing as Bandai haven't really been doing anything special with the Macross line at the moment (I don't call reissing the old VF-1's special) I don't see why they should cling on to the licence as it seems that Macross is on their "maybe to do" list. Time for a company like Yamato to step in, a company that have proven themselves that they have the ability to make toys that are accurate, beautiful and collectible to the fans of Macross. 6. Will they reissue Macross toys such as the VF-1 a few years later? - I ask this because I want to do something with the 1/48 line and also the Zero line that will cause me (within good reason to a Macross fan) to buy up to about 7 Valks of the one type. This project "The Macross Museum" will probably cost me $25,000 AUD that's half a year's pay. But I really want to do it as Macross is my life (Graham and others like him would understand! ). Please Yamato, help me achieve my dream! 7. 1/48 scale Elintseeker and SuperOstrich and VF-1D - I know that this require a remolding of some parts but nothing major right? It's not like they have to remake the whole Valkyrie. Once they get around to making a two- seater VF-1, the rest is a piece of cake. I would have thought that the 1/48 line was a very lucrative project taken up by Yamato. Feel free to dicuss debate and argue as to why they will and will not. Perhaps this might bring us closer to the answer of the future of Macross toys.
  7. Yah mon! Good old Bob! Haven't heard any of this stuff in a long time!
  8. I like any Jpop and all the music from the Macross series. Rap, Hip Hop, R&B are my favourites too, but I'm often still very selective about the ones I choose as some of the stuff that comes from these genres are full of crap. For instance I only like a couple of songs from Eminem like "sing for the moment" and lose yourself" but stuff like superman and slim shady and purple pills suck. You can't go wrong with Tupac Shakur and R. Kelly with their meaningful music. Dance and Techno is up there on my list though and a little of the good rock as well, from Creed and Chad Kroger for example. I'm a DJ as well and the old classics really go down well at a party that covers a variety of ages. Always like to finish up with some "Hot Stuff" and "Greased Lightnin!". Mind you, I never want to be like John Travolta. <_< Can't stand anythin like heavy metal or grunge or alternative, it's just lot's of noise making to me.
  9. Chinese New Year is the perfect time for buying Valks. When you get those little red paper envelopes with money that ranges from $20-50! Too bad I became aware of the 1/48's too late last year to put it to good use. I think I'll ask my uncle to give me money this year as he always gives me a box of blank CDs....I could open up a warehouse with the amount over the years as I don't burn CDs that often!
  10. Nice work! Damn, you made me think about buyiong another 1/48 VF-1S

    1:60 GBP-1 !?

Say, what does the box on top of the second picture contain? It's Yamato parts for the VF-1 but what for? (ht egold and black one, you can see a gunpod and missiles) I can pretty much guess what the VF-1J box is gonna look like.

    1:60 GBP-1 !?

Heeeeellll Yeeeaaahhh! Allright! Finally some GBP action! Looks great! I'll be surprised if they don't sell them as upgrades to the current VF-1J though, or if the VF-1J is any different. The armour looks like it was built around the original 1/60. EDIT: anyone here got some get-rich-quick schemes? I think most of us are gonna need it.
  13. Eight and ten. Nothin else. Didn't like the other stories.
  14. Whaaaaat! I don't believe it, if they can't complete the entire line, then why start at all? Then again, you've got a good point about the VF-1D, and it would pretty much equally be the same situation for the VE and VT-1. But seriously Graham, and all the other Valkyrie crits, would you think that a resculpting of the VF-1D wuold be really hard to do? EDIT I didn't know that there was a difference between the DYRL VF-1A CF and the TV version. Is it just something small (ie VF-1S Focker head, TV version black arrow, DYRL version yellow arrow)?
  15. a few frames before the Bud missile there was another Easter Egg. In fact, it's on our 1/48 FAST pack sticker sheets. What is it advertising? The black letters and the yellow smiley.
  16. Are they gonna make a connon fodder? It wouln'd be too hard to do, so they just gotta! No Macross Line or collection is complete without CFs of the A type!
  17. Anyone know how to grease up the joints on a 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru? He seems to be the old man of the bunch his joints especially the elbows are hard to move compared to the Focker and Max
  18. Apparently no..but T4 should be coming out in the future.
  19. I loved the parody they did on him at crazyshite.com. Arnold's Pizza Shop was the funniest! Man,how well did Arnie do to get into shape for T3? He had almost everything against him: age (almost a decade since his last Terminator movie), medical history (doctors warned him off heavy lifting after replacing a heart valve) and having six broken ribs from a motorcycle accident after he signed the deal for T3! Yet for the Ladies Night scene he was a good buffed 220 pounds, the same weight he was for his other Terminator movies. What a battler! PS by the way, there was a parody song on the radio in Australia, it had a someone imititating Arnold Penelope Cruz and Keanu Reeves, frickin funny! The chorus goes something like: 'look on the brighter side of life" or sumthin like that. Does anyone know what the song is called? I really want to download it!
  20. Feel sorry for me!! I haven't seen the first two, only the third.
  21. I'll get it! I'll turn that into my dyrl valk and my current one into a TV one. Hopefully the TV FAST Packs will come out on their own so I can truly have the ultimate Macross collection!
  22. Absolutely beautiful! Great job, well done.
  23. Eve is actually in part three and becomes the 7G operator at the end. Best to look to this movie if you want to find out more about her, which isn't much. The 3rd movie wasn't that bad anyway.
  24. Well I have some time after all, here you go... Thanks! Gee that looks complex.
  25. But it's sooo hard! Anyone got a pic of one xacto knife? The buggers here don't know what I'm talking about when I ask for one.
