Why would Cagalli say anything? The damn thing was his in the first place until it got "remodelled."

Heard that the GBP may be delayed till the early days of September. Anyone confirm this?

Hope I got my conditions right. Cheeck this out and point out any errors: -Humidity low -No direct sunlight -lightly tinted glass windows -lights never on for more than 5 minutes at a time, if at all -temperature range 16 to 24 degrees celcius Anything else I missed, can improve on?

If you are happy with the trade, then it was a fair deal.

Derailing the thread????? I am just stating the facts. He came after me bro, like I was some clueless civilian who knew nothing about the military. AIRBORNE!!!!!!!! After all the crap you spout, we don't really know what to believe about your posts.

I'm with Duke on this one. I'd rather not see over half of the first page in the Other Anime section taken up with pinned "super threads". It's just that these days, the most recurring thread is the Yukikaze one.

Well I wouldn't rate Yamato's quality control as being all that great. Every single one of the 1/60s I've bought so far have had at least one defect due to someone not paying attention. While of the five Toynami products I have purchased only one had any kind of actual flaw and that was the Vol. 1 VF-1J, the first one produced which was basically a case of too little die cast material. Don't get me wrong, the Yamato valks are a far superior toy design than the MPCs but as to QC, so far Toynami has a better track record as far as I am concerned. I mean two of the Yamato valks have actually required my taking tools to them before they would even display at all while the MPCs have at least been posable out of the box. While you may have had a problem with Toynami I frankly am coming to the opinion that mecha from either company are something of a crapshoot in regards to QC. I don't know about the 1/60s, but I refuse to believe that the QC from Toynami is better than Yamato. I have not had a problem at all with any of my valks aside from an airbrake that is a little too loose or a fuzzy paint line. But I don't get upset over that. From what I've seen and handled, Toynami has and always will have an inferior QC to Yamato.

Oh no.... What causes it to go red this time I wonder?

I am still on dialup and nothing pisses me off more than to load up a page in the Macross toy and Other Anime forums that is full of your crap. An I have no way of knowing that you have posted in it unless you posted last or created the topic. Here is my Robotech username and password: Adonis alpha001 Go and use it. Just don't post crap here again MGREXX. We can all tell that you really miss that hole of a place. I got sick of it the first hour I joined.

That's alright you know. Probably a wise move even if intentional, with the upcoming GBP Armour and the CF, funds are going to be short for most people. But good to know that you are still in. I for one, can wait. BTW, can you colour the parts as they are produced, or do you have to do them by batches? I want to get a couple of different coloured sets you see, and I am wondering if I can cheat a little by substituting CF bodies for the Hikaru VF-1D and Max VF-1J for the Virgin Road. IF that is the case, I will purchase extra CF's!

Survey: Ten Worst Comic Book/Superhero Movies
kensei replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I heard it was gonna be Jennifer Aniston, god forbid. -
The X-9 does not transform, it is an AI controlled mecha. The YF-19 and YF-21 were not "canned" after it's introduction. The YF-19, which was the only survivor of that incident, was accepted as Project Supernova's winner and successor to the VF-11, and rechristened the VF-19 Excalibur. The YF-21 was redesignated the VF-22 Sturmvogel and was used later on by a select few. It lost it's BDI system though, and a more conventional control system was installed.

But we have to deal with reality sometime dude. It'll look good with some of Devin's decals, that I know.

I want to see a coloured prototype somtime in the next few weeks. That would be nice. That photoshop one will do nicely for now though.

No worries. The rest holds true though: loose wingflap on the left wing, unstable 90 degree elbow flexion, easy to knock off nosecone (remember, it is not loose, rather just easy to knock off). Apparently, not in my opinion though, the landing gear bay doors are harder to open.

The only valk to have a crooked skull is the Roy VF-1S 1st and possibly 3rd ed. The HIkaru VF-1A never had any crooked skulls.

Where did you get that from? $132 shipped. BS, I say. Don't you just hate it when someone doesn't provide a link to substantiate their claim . Yeah, tell me about it. Well, that is his business. I don't like to post exact details of my purchases and dealings, because I get things that don't seem fair to the average buyer. I actually buy from a lot more people than I have in my sig, the only reason why I list them is because they provide the best serivce. Good find Leo BTW. The Hikaru VF-1S is a good valk, aside from the very loose airbrake issue. There is a 71% chance that it will be loose. But the guy has the only DYRL? Pilot and other improvements!

1. The back chest plate that needs to be pressed in to make the backpack booster sit more flush with the back in battroid mode, especially needed if you find FAST packs to put them on. There are these two little nubs that are very prone to wear, as you need to push past them to lock it in place. To this one side at a time, and carefully. They don't break, just tend to wear out quickly. Landing gear bay doors. These have the littel nubs that tend to wear out quickly too. Open them carefullly and do not forcefully push them in. Thye actually do tend to snap rather than wear out, and you'll end up with a loose door. Head lasers - especially with the VF-1S, for goodness sake do not move them by the laser. Use the turret to turn them. 2. I agree with EXO, just the first ed of the Hikaru VF-1A and Roy VF-1S. Oh, and the Low Vis, especially if it is under 200 USD. Don't ask why, just PM me immediately, and don't tell anyone else. 3. Buy it when you get the chance. Don't wait, or else the only retailer you can depend on in the end is ebay or *gasp* TISINC.

NO idea what you are talking about either.

Any good ones. And have there been any at all before this thread mentioned the topic again? No.
-
They don't stay out on mine, or just pop out. I still got three other VB-6s to open, but I threaded a screw when trying to put it back together again.

yeah... it's starting to look rather silly. ah well, I'm still getting one.. rather have it than not. The pose with the open missile hatches look really cool though. I wish for the colour pics. *sigh* EDIT: 1000th post! Yahoo! Haven't posted for a week or so.

That's a fully sick design. Good work.

I started when the Yamato 1/60s came out. Never collected anything Macross before, altough I was very tempted to get the Bandai's, but with no internet or localstores to get them from I had to jsut put that away i the back of my mind. The release of Yamato 1/48's just kick started off my collecting,I could never let and opportunity like this get past. Now I won lots, and starting to get to the end of my collection. I will never collect anything else. I used to buy transformers, but stopped after I turned 12, they just didn't interest me anymore. See my sig for collection volume and pics will come at the end of the year.
