1. I would love a bigger VF-11. Something along the lines of the famous SHE 1/72 model, only in 1/60 so that they can get the tailfins and landing gear right, and attach the Gunpod. The Full Armour is sweet on the VF-11, but they need to make it light. I doubt a 1/48 VF-1 can hold something like that with the strength of it's joints. *sigh* Macross is still alive! Yamato are not moving away from Macross to other anime, they are simply expanding! I wouldn't be surprised if they did do an upscale. No matter how much it costs them to make, they will always get it back in their sales. That's why we keep on getting reissues of certain products that people just keep buying. And they learnt that bigger (within reason, that's why we get a 1/60 VF-0 and not a 1/48) and more detailed is the way to go. I kept my faith when the Roys were getting scarce. And what happened? 2nd reissue. They even are doing a third, but of no concern to me as I don't need any more. I also believed that they were releasing the FAST Packs again. Yamato is the one thatt wants to make money, they don't want scalpers like Tisinc to have it all. And what happened lately? Rerelease. To all ye faithful, you will be rewarded. To those that don't believe, in your face! Knowing the type of people you are, you will be relieved and go out to buy more Roys and FAST Packs. You know it too. Keep the faith brothers!
2. But it said ABS and PVC. I really want all the landing gear doors, not just the front ones, to be metal. I fond that if you are not excessively careful with closing the rear ones, you will get plastic chipping, and that is a total bitch because you now have a floppy landing gear door.
3. Johnno does some really good work. That is awesome! 1/72 is still big anyway right?
4. It means no metal parts ? 316813 Not good I reckon. I would have liked the 0 to have the same metal parts as the 1/48 VF-1.
5. Work in progress. No pictures yet. Review
6. Well I voted for Millia any woman who can juggle seven daughters and pilot any type of Valkyrie must be considered a superwoman. 316353 And still keep a tight figure.
7. Awesome! Time to recap on some good old TMNT.
8. I really want a Cheyenne with wind up action rollerskates! That'd be so awesome! I chose Shin's VF-0 though. Something about that variant of the VF-0.
9. I hope we get some more destroids too! Especially the Tomahawk! I think the Monster sold relatively well. It got rereleased anyway just recently didn't it?
10. Ummm, I wouldn't say that. Ferro Fibrous Armour is just bulkier due to it's special weave, supplying more or equal protection at less weight. Nothing to do with reflection of beam wepaons. Endo Steel Internals are just to lighten up the Mech to allow you to put on heavier equipment, while taking up more criticals or space. The armour is not energy based.
11. You are correct, the VF-0's hands do not retract into the forearms. Graham 314996 then where do they go in fighter mode? 315091 I don't know if you have the hasegawas model or not but the hands look like they just make fists and are between the arms and the Backpack....The "plates" with the yellow stripes on them that cover the area between the arm and the back-pack is actually the back off the hands. Chris 315095 Damn, you're right! I've never noticed that before. Spun out. Toonz, take a look at the first ep of Macross Zero when Roy first transforms the VF-0. You'll see the the hands are stored externally in fighter mode.
12. Actually.... I take that back.....I might not want a crab-claw Monster...
13. Where's the vote for everything?!
14. Man, you forgot the OCTOS and the Cheyenne....
15. Woah! Red flag. ABS and PVC? How much are we talkin about?
16. Yep. Now all we have to do is kick back and wait for proto pics. Which have probably been done already, not unlike the GBP. I'm not worried about the release dates at all, so long as they spread them out bimonthly. I'd be pissed if they release >2 products a month. How can all the fans afford what they want? I'm guessin mid or late 2006 for this baby? If it is released I'll bet the VF-0A will be next, followed by VF-0D later, if at all. Hope the double seaters are not too much of a problem for them. I hope.
17. That would be so awesome, I would donate mine for that cause! (matchbox veritech, I dont have any speedo max pics.....really!!!) 313543 Well, I'm back from Yamato HQ, boy, did I pester them good. But guess what -- IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!! Check it out: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=15574 OK, now for the Monster and FP 19.... 313806 Yeah, whatever
18. Well duh that Macross makes money for them. Check out all the rereleases man! Roy Focker VF-1S 4th production run! As long as the details are right, and the transformation is perfect, any scale is fine.
19. Damn.... But it does look nice.
20. Bulldust. Akatsuki has a lot more to offer by the look of all the weapons it has than Strike. Strike is severely undergunned.
21. Me? Only about 17 FPs. It's all coming together now. I don't need Roys but might buy two more for VF-X2 GBP Customs. I won't need anymore FPs! Yay! EDIT: Suck eggs Tisinc! 312475 But you might need extras for the conversion kits that will be released - 1D, VT and VE, and the Armored Gerwalk... 312478
22. They actually look too big, even folded up. Or can we tuck them in with the fingers extended and the thumb folded? Hey, you make improvements as you go along. If they are indeed articulated then I thikn that they were inspired by Bclub hands.
23. Me? Only about 17 FPs. It's all coming together now. I don't need Roys but might buy two more for VF-X2 GBP Customs. I won't need anymore FPs! Yay! EDIT: Suck eggs Tisinc!
24. Fair enough, but what about some info? Weapons, special abilities? It certainly must have been developed by ORB.
25. Anyone see the specs on the Akatsuki yet?
