Guys I just wanted to ask about the fansubs. I got the Hiro or Haro Fansubs, but the quality is horrible. Or so my computer thinks. I just installed a new DVD drive and normal DVD's owrk on it, and the actual DVD itself works on a school computer. I am having picture problems, it doesn't refresh itself and you can see remenents of the last scene when the current scene come up. Can anyone help? I'm just about to catch up with you guys on the eps!

There very well be nothing to improve on. The recent editions of the 1/48 were pretty good. They know what to do and what not to do now. But I guess that there could be a few errors here and there.

let's see..... 3 for normal - Battroid, GERWALK, Fighter 3 for FAST Packs - Battroid, GERWALK, Fighter 3 with Ghost Boosters and missiles galore - Battroid, GERWALK, Fighter 2 for the GBP-0S opened and closed missile launchers 1 to play with. 12 in total.

What improvement? There was always plently of space for a non-FAST Packed 1/48 VF-1 GU-11 Gunpod. I hope they improve the intakes in the final release. The to halves don't exactly fit together flush in the picture. But I like the look of the turbine. Nice!

Probably the cost of oil going up and also maybe demand for it is more than last time, so distributors may have pushed up their prices, which is then pass on to retailers who have no choice but to charge more. 321406[/snapback] Uh, the yen prices are exactly the same as when the Hikaru 1A first came out - the non supers/strikes have always been 14,800 yen (unless HLJ changed their prices on the items that are no longer available). What has changed is the exchange rate - back when the Hikaru 1A was first released, the exchange rate was $1 = 123 Yen, so the 1/48 would have cost about $120. Now it's $1 = 109, meaning the 1/48, at the same yen price, now costs $136... 322387[/snapback] True that, but I originally thought it was what Valk-1S said, isn't plastic an oil product? Plus the price of fuel going up with the transport cost etc. could be passed on to the consumer. You are right about the retail price though. I can't believe the yen-USD rate still sucks big time...

Hi guys, At the end of hte year I am planning to put up my 1/48 collection, but I feel that something is lacking. After looking at the Gundam SEED Destiny Cards that you get with their kits: I thought that it would be cool to make some of those to display on each different shelf accompanying three different valkyries, one in Battroid mode, one in GERWALK, and one in fighter. I wanted to put this type of thing at the end if possible. Initially I wanted to get the CM Macross figures, but I am too late for those, and I think I like thse better anyway, if I can make them that is. Anyone that has a SEED Kit with these, could you please give me some tips on how to make some of my own Cards?

Just also reading Gundam SEED Astray Manga, do co-ordinators have telepathic abilities? Tokyopop's editor notes seem say so, but I am loathes to believe that. Does anyone know where I can download the Gundam SEED Astray short videos?

That's cool dude I was not offended at all. But to be honest, I think that the VF-1S Hikaru was just announced, I could swear there was never any promo pic for the VF-1S Hikaru, until it came out, which was just the inside cover of the box.

I doubt that that is a Yamato stock shot. That is a badly photoshopped version of a VF-1S Roy used on online store sites.

You got to get your 1/48s. Most are being reissues, and you will at least have half the variants if you start now. Be looking out for a reissue of the Max and Millia VF-1Js.

Hell, I'd buy a PG version of I-Justice, and Destiny. I don't say Strike Freedom PG because it will come out. I really want a Strike PG though. I guess I'll hvae to settle for the 1/60.

Same thing I was thinkin. I walked into a import toy store today and they had the box set playing. I cringed when I heard the theme song. I thought: "Wait, this used to be entertaining for me when I was a little kid, but now I feel embarassed." Good thing that has not happened with Macross.

The MPC's? Worth Bugger all. The Yamato 1/60s will be worth something, but not much, if at all. Yamato 1/48s? Worth heaps. Just look at the rare stuff like the Hikaru VF-1S and the Low Viz. There were some exceptions on the MPCs on ebay, but you can bet that those people were ignorant of the Yamato's existance or even are too stupid to realise that what Yamato produces is way superior.
