1. Hey Prometheum5 have you got your missiles yet? Pretty damn bare without them.
2. Oh no, please not, not after Macross Zero! I prefer to keep the past as I remember them. 363590 I don't want to be stuck in the past. I want a new series, with new mecha, new characters and a new story. Without that Macross will not move forward and we will get less and less new merchandise, once Yamato has finished milking Macross Zero for toys. Who knows, a new series may turn out even better than the original! Graham 363835 Please don't say that. I long for a transofrming toy that looks like a contemporary stealth fighter! Is the Bandai one that complicated to transform? Remember the Konig was a complete surprise! No one expected that!
3. I'd like them to release a new Macross series sure. Opens up a whole new generation of VFs. I personally would like them to animate the VF-X2 Game. That would be great. Although I personally wouldn't like to see the Macross destroyed at the end, maybe damaged but not destroyed, as it is the symbol of all that is Macross, it's not only the VF-1. To keep our toy shelves full I would like them to delve into the designs of the Macross M3 game and also the VF-X2 game. There are plently of designs to choose from and they can get around the issue with Bandai owning the Macross 7 licence.
4. Unfortunately the GBP isn't that nimble. The only toy I have so far that can do a kick in spectacular tae-kwon-do/kung-fu style is the GQ MMM Impulse Gundam. I don't have MG or PG ones to say otherwise yet. The reason for this is that the GBP has armour not only covering the intakes to reduce some of the mobility range but around the area of the nosecone too. This also prevents the VF-1 form doing some (albeit limited in the first place) torso twisting. It is also hard to actually get a grounded leg to be well centered during a kick. But hey FM and ruskii, when you get yorus try it out. Sit at home with an hours or so to yourself keep all of the articulation points of the VF-1 in mind and see if you can do somehting with the armour on. It's highly therapeutic to a stressed out guy like me. I am happy to say that the GBP can actually stand up straight and not lean forward or backwards at all unlike the FAST Pack Armoured ones. But to be fair the FAST Packs were back/dorsal heavy in the first place. As the GBP encompasses the whole valk, I would say that it is pretty evenly balanced on all fronts. The missile launcher covers are a little dicky, but they are all right. The top rear one tends to clash with the wings a bit, jsut becareful, and don't extend the wings while the FAST Packs are on. I haven't damaged any part yet, but I can just imagine the results. Good thing they are loose and removeable, one they let you detail them with decals a lot easier and two I imported 6 of them to Australia in two GBP boxes. I'm glad that everything is not fixed and rigid cause they might have broken! But nothing is and the boxes are in tip top shape C10. Thanks Toy-wave! And boy are these stickers good for once. They are die cut so much better. Almost don't have to get Takatoys or Anasazi stickers (no offense guys:P). j/k. They both will do a better job but I am just raving about how much the Yamato stickers have improved. Any questions? EDIT: wrote Tamato instead of Yamato! :lol Must be hungry.
5. Here are the rest.... VF-1X GBP-1S Custom! Some Standand Hikaru pics.... Roy getting into a fight with Hikaru...
6. I love this thing! It's sooo detailed! I got my six in. This is great. I'll try and vote for it for toy fo the year. I don't know what to say about it. The box first of all is great. It is the greatest box ever! Yamato have certainly outdone themselves for once. I'll keep these boxes in good shape forever. And the toy itself? Amazing. So many details and missiles! The only thing I hate is the hand that holds the gunpod. It's so loose. I like how the backpack nozzles move just like the normal Super FAST packs. While it is not the most posable thing on the planet...the armour around the legs do provide some movement and variety.
7. Fixed..just in case someone calls the wrong agency....
8. 12" Alien, isn't that from a non-Japanese toy company?
9. I didn't know that the Yamato 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru got TOTY 2002! That's awesome. Let's hope that the VF-0 is worthy of this year's prize. Or even the GBP!
10. I thought it was two hours off...
11. I thought is was because of the dickheads down at Volkswagon that refused to give them the licence?
12. "Um, what's a Nubian?" BLACK RAGE! BLACK RAGE!!! 358297 The VF-17 Nightmare.
13. That was a great price. The owner got an absolute deal.
14. Those would be great, but what about a simple Tomahawk. Don't care if the Spartan or the Defender. They could go back and give us an ultra detailed standard Monster MKII version, even though they already gave us the VB-6. No no no, you've missed out on too much...you didn't put in the VF-9 Cutlass, VF-14 Vampire and the VF-17 Nightmare. Graham, ban him for overlooking the almighty VF-17!!!
15. Of course, bigger is better and if it is at least HG.

Wall Of Valkyries

That pic is nuts. And I thought I had problems with the valkoholism....
17. I think I saw something about Zeta III. Cool thanks for the info. But...did you say 1/100 Infinite Justice? AND a Gold Frame Amatu??!! That would be awesome! Think about it, they don't have to do much work. They already got the right arm from the Blitz and a normal Astray arm which they can just add a claw or whatever, and the base Astray Frame. That would be sooo awesome! I hope that it's a complete Gold Frame or a Mina Custom!!!!
18. By now should we be seeing some more kits from Destiny or even SEED? From what I can see of the other series, they have a lot of mecha that are all master grade level, not just your el cheapo 1/144 ungraded kits. And why, despite it's popularity have we not seen a PG Freedom? e.g. in Zeta you have not one, but two different Gundams the RX79 or whatever and the Zeta. Plus plenty of the bad guys got MG treatment too. I admit, even though I haven't seen much of other Gundam, and that the mecha in Gundam are for the most part impractical, SEED and Destiny has got to have some of the most aesthetically pleasing mecha of all the series. Sure you got some cool designs like the Kampfer, but the Zaku looks way more awesome than the old models you see in U.C. for sure.
19. Just hot off the production line WM. Get yours now.
20. The Glimmerman.
21. I wanted to check out Astray B, X and Destiny Astray, but I cannot find the Manga anywhere. I have only read R and Astray. Can you please tell me where are they released? Kira's brother is called Canard Pars.
22. I wonder if you can connect the beam sabre to the Hyakurai beam rifle on the Akatsuki like a bayonet? That's what it is capable of in the lineart.
23. A full repaint of a Max and Millia wouild be cool too. BUt I think in the pictures about that the Millia valk is more suited to the GBP than Hikaru
24. What the hell is he talking about, 6 interchangable hands? Unless he threw in a quartet of TV hands.
25. UGH. That thing is hideous. That silver visor is awful. If it were black or green it might look better but silver? *gag* 355483 People that live in glass houses shoudn't throw disco stones... 355497
