I haven't a clue why they are so expensive, it's probably something to do with taxes or Sony bumping up the prices just for Europeans. The USA and Japan are the bigger markets, so they sell more stuff than in Europe thats probably another reason.
-
Actually it was reported on UK TV, that because of legal cost and the fact Sony won a court action against them in London they were forced to close because of the amount of money they had to pay out to their legal team and to Sony. This wasn't only about the PSP but the whole range of playstation gear. Sony did take action with the PSP, but they didn't win that case, So then they took action against the import of PS3 to Europe and won. Sony didn't want anyone importing PS3 before the European launch date. Their argument was that the European PS3 has different specs than Japan and USA and that it was a safety issue, the courts in London accepted this and so lik-sang lost that case. Now every retailer i know of has stopped importing PS3 hardware.

I'm not bothered if the music is changed in one scene, as long as they don't cut out scenes like they done with the UK version. I would still get this set because it is far superior than the UK version I've got, I wouldn't buy the Japanese version just because they changed a little music and its also expensive I think. -
Well Sony is threatening to sue every retailer that intends to import PS3 into the UK and the rest of Europe, cause they only want the people in that region to buy the official European version, they claim it takes away from their profits, infringes copyright and other techno babble stuff. They sued against lik-sang and succeeded, and because of this and legal cost, lik-sang was forced to close down. This is also a warning to other retailers, so they have stopped importing is well. Ebay also banned listings offering shipping to Europe. The lik-sang web site has a more in depth explanation of why they closed down. www.lik-sang.com

I don't know wither to get this or not, I can't decide, on one hand I'm running out of space and the other is in my wallet.

There have been six episode OVAs put on two separate volumes before though i can't think of that many, so two volumes with three episodes each would be nice. Gundam 0080 was six episodes on two volumes, but that show is old. -
Never mind about the Zudah, bring out the MG THE-O!!!!!!
-
Yeah our stuff are always more expensive, and we don't always get the same games as the US or Japan. We in Europe are always left with the scraps. If i was to buy a US or Japanese PS3 it would still cost more to import, cause in the UK we need to pay import duty, clearance fee, VAT, customs.....blah blah blah Also Sony has put a stop to importers such as lik sang
-
Confirmed PS3 to be released in UK March 23. Sony does not intend to release the 20 gig version because it didn't manage to sell that much in the USA. So they are selling the 60 gig version for £425!!!! ($832)!!!!
-
The 100th MG would probably be a suit that was used by Amuro Ray or Char Aznable, and thats not very many, since they brought out the Hi Nu Gundam, maybe they'll bring out the Nightingale.

Good one, I should have thought of that, lets hope they have Z.O.E in the works.

Hopefully its three episodes on a disc, it seems a waste of disc space having one or two episodes on a disc. But they'll want to make more money, so two per disc possibly. -
Actually there has been a lot of protest and riots happening in China its just that the rest of the world doesn't hear about it, and there is also a power struggle happening right now within the communist party. Again i got this info from the Epoch times. You must also remember that in a democracy you can complain about your government or speak out against them, without fear of being arrested, and every few years you get to vote for a new government. The Chinese don't have that option, their stuck with the communist and you can't go against them cause it will mean you'll become a enemy of the state.

though i'm running low on space, that Ideon is definitely a must buy.

come on bandai hurry up and bring out more MGs from ZETA

Thats great news if its confirmed, I wonder how many episodes would be on a single volume. The Japanese versions only have one episode in each volume . -
I recommend watching the entire series, the Zero also appears in it.
-
I sometimes read the Epoch times, which is banned in China for being anti-Communist. There are a lot of horror stories of whats happening in China about human rights and also high ranking military and ordinary people have renounced the communist party. Which is one of the reasons I think they are unhappy. Another reason is I have Chinese relatives there and they are always complaining about the communist.

I don't think any country should have dominance over space or the planet for that matter and the USA has set its self up in that position, though I've got nothing against the US it's whether they use that position responsibly that matters and the same goes to other emerging super powers. Like i said in a previous post the ASAT test by China is just communist propaganda, a show of force to the world and to its ever increasingly unhappy population towards the communist government.
