Does anyone know of a geek speak dictionary, while online playing games I get a lot of geek speak which I just can't seem to understand, things like gg ftw tt ...........etc I can figure some out but most of the time I find myself unable to communicate with them. I know this is not just a ps3 thing as I've seen it being used in the forum, but I seem to be getting a lot of it when playing the PS3, since it has no keyboard i can see why people would use geek speak.

Downloaded and played the uncharted demo, nice graphics, has a indiana jones feel to it, but i must be very crap as i found it quite hard to play.

I'm on my third PS2, My first one's laser broke down, it lasted 7 months. My second one which was a replacement also broke down because of the laser, it lasted for a year. I found out that some of the early models had this defect, Sony denied it, but eventually admited it, just like MS with the 360. I hope my PS3 lasts longer. My third PS2 is the new small version.

I mentioned this way back in the forum, In the PS magazine I buy, the letters section has always people writing in saying they are having problems playing import games. so maybe the PS3 is not actually regoin free for games which is another big disapointment. I'm also annoyed that the dvd and bluray are still region coded. Most of my dvds are regoin 1 and I really wanted to try out the upscale feature that was added in the update firmware.

Yes, unless you count the PS2 and PS1. I stuck with playstation because most of the games I enjoyed on the older machines, would mean there would be sequels coming out for the new machine. I'm mainly waiting for MGS4. Right now it just seems Sony is not doing very much to promote their product. Theres hardly any adverts for the PS3 on TV compared to xbox and wii. It's made worst by the fact that my local gamestation shop hardly stocks any PS3 games or hardware, I have to travel to the city centre to see whats available which isn't very much, a waste of a journey. Its a shame that I spent so much money on the PS3, just so that it sits there gathering dust most of the time. It's a great machine, but has little uses for it. Also I see no point in the blu ray movies since I already own them on DVD and the picture quality is still good, in my opinion HD is only good if you get a big 50 inch screen which I don't have. In the mean time I'm playing valkyrie profile 2 for the PS2, excellent game

Man, PS3 is really doing my head in, theres hardly any games for it. I know they hype up the the graphics and all, but its not exactly next generation, so far from what I've seen and played the graphics are just your normal PC graphics, very disapointing indeed. I was expecting something more. I bought Oblivion the other day, good game but full of bugs, just like the PC version. I had to reset my PS3 several times whenever the game stopped responding. Hope they can bring out patches or something through the Playstation online store. Sorry about this rant, just had to get it off my mind.

Well to tell you the truth, my collection is probably small compared to some of the ones seen here. It's mostly gundam models, I got my first one when I was 10 years old, so I've been at it for a while now. I've got about 30 to 40 master grade kits, I've lost count and they are not all displayed since I've run out of space. My macross collection has only just started growing when yamato came to the scene. I use to have a few Valkyrie model kits but I gave them away to a cousin, I don't mind since they were badly built by me as a kid.

Well even though I have not put up pictures of my collections (not sure how?), I can tell you I have quite a large collection also. Being rich may not be a factor for some here. I've been collecting since I was a kid so the collection is bound to be large and its probably the same story for others here.

Why would you sell the series in the first place? In my opinion the movies are not as good as the TV series. It seems rushed at times and the editing not that brilliant either in some places. I think it would have been better for you to have both. Thats what I have, except I have region 3 versions of the movies not the region 1 US versions which seem to be taking forever to come out.

illegible fonts? I heard there was a japanese demo released in America is it that version you played. I've only got the english version. The comic strip pieces were a bit boring, but I enjoyed the game play, I thought the sucking of souls using the sixaxis was a clever idea.

Just played a demo of folklore, quite a good game in my opinion. I'm thinking of getting it this monday, I think I should trade in some old ps2 games for it.

I only just got my PS3 about 2 weeks ago. I have only got three games Heavenly Sword, Resistance and Armored Core 4. When I say games that are of no interest, its because so far most of the games are drivivg games which I don't enjoy, first person shooters which all seem average and american sports games which are boring. There just doesn't seem to be much variety for the PS3 so far. Though the next few months some interesting titles are being released not to mention more driving games. The psp is the same, I don't own one but when I'm at the shops the games on the shelves are mostly driving games. Why do they keep releasing driving games every month, its doing my head in

So its really crap, I was thinking of getting this game as well. Perhaps gundam dynasty warriors maybe better. I downloaded the demo, but it only let be play as the crapy wing gundam. I would love to control the Zeta Gundam. There ain't much games out that are of interest right now. I bought Armoured core 4 the other day and although the magazine reviews always give that series a bad rating, I always liked it and the PS3 version is just as good though not brilliant. The thing I find funny about reviewers in the west is that they never seem to enjoy robot games and shows as much as the east. Robots (apart from transformers) just don't appeal to the vast majority of the west, of course I'm in the UK so im not sure if its the same in the America.

I completed heavenly sword, after so many atempts at that last boss. I finally figured out that you can counter the orange shots easily, and the blue ones can be dodged. I don't think I'll be play this game any time soon, my thumbs are really sore from all the button bashing. I'm a bit disapointed that it was a short game. I think its time I played resistance fall of man story mode properly now, since I've got no chance on-line, getting slaughtered too many times kind of gets to you.

Yeah, thats what i want region free for, to play games from Japan and USA, since we don't always get they same games in the UK. I got my previous Playstatons 1 & 2 chipped for this particular reason, but if there was a mod for the PS3 I would prefer not to risk it getting it modded. Sony and other companies are against modding because it lets you play pirate games but you never hear about the people who want to use it for import games, which I see nothing wrong in that since they are not pirated.

You'll never know, some prick might make a virus just to prove a point. The PS3 is a bit slow in the games, but I think it would gradually pick up when the machine becomes more affordable, that way more people, means more game developement and also possible viruses in the future. You only have to look at mobile phones, where there are now viruses for them.

I finally got a PS3, last thursday, I got heavenly sword and resistance fall of man with it. I've set up a internet connection for it and I've been playin resistance multi-player. It's a free multi-player service, does this mean all ps3 online games are free? Also I sometimes get "buddy invites" what do I do with these?. As you can porbably tell, online gaming is new to me, I've never tried it before on PC or anything else.

Just read on gunota that a JUMBO grade Zeta Gundam is coming out, I'm definitly going to buy that when it comes out, porbably cost alot more than the other jumbos too.

I saw in the papers today that Argos is selling the 60gb PS3 with choice of two free games, Fall of man, Heavenly Sword, Formula 1 and another motor storm. The price is £349.95 British pounds. This offer is in the UK and it ends on the 16th. I'm very tempted to buy it with Fall of man and heavenly sword. Instead of waiting for the PS4 to come out so the price would drop further

Whats this about a prequel DVD? I've not seen the movie yet, but did they make a prequel for it?
