  1. I guess I should make myself a little more clear. If you don't do it, some body else should. It's a project that should be done. And done very well.
  2. I've never seen Hasegawa make a model with retracting landing gear.
  3. You should really put together a package of images to illustrate what it would look like and have a final size figured out. And a good ballpark price as well. I know I was working blind until I figured out exactly what you were proposing.
  4. Buy it on credit. Spread it out over time. I'm upgrading to Blu Ray on this. I didn't even bother buying the season four DVD's at all this time.
  5. Yes.

    1:18th Valk?

I started one at 1/10th scale to match the pilot action figures from Diamond Select.

    1:18th Valk?

It's on my short list of personal projects. But you couldn't hope to get one in "garage kit" fashion for less than $700.
  8. I like it. Macross was always cool to me bacause of the standardized mech components.
  9. After finally realizing that you're going to base the kit on my SINGLE FAVORITE SDF-1 mesh ever... I'm definately interested. To a certain price point.
  10. Or someone could cast ones for sale here.
  11. There's plenty of information to build up the TV version to great detail. There's already too many Movie versions on the market, or coming to market.
  12. I've only ever seen them do that on some 1/32nd scale stuff. Thier old F-16 to be exact.
  13. I would have rather they started with the VF-1 though. They'll get to it when they can I guess...
  14. When you get into scratch building the sky's the limit.
  15. I was bored out of my skull with all the fight scenes. Really. Except the one in the forest. But that one had a purpose and a poignant moment in it. And Sam's parents at the end of the movie were great.
  16. Moebius Models has just got the license and will be releasing a 1/32nd scale MKII at the end of this year or beginning of the next one. They do want to do a Galactica as well. But they haven't any actual plans in motion for that one. Oh. They're styrene kits like the old ones. They do nice kits too.
  17. Ahhh... I didn't touch it for about 14 months in a row. I'm glad that wasn't my goal. I just need to finish it before I die.
  18. Maiden Japan: Awesome diorama. I love the whole layout you've got going. Battlestar stuff: Thanks. The scale is 1:2500 and it's 22.5" long. I did use a lasercutter to make my sliced parts and the engine cones were made with a 3D CNC router. There is SOME styrene hand work, but not that much.
  19. I've gotten back to his bucket. I've finally finished the overall massing. I can focus on details now. Woo HOOO!!!
  20. The only model kits are the 1/72nd scale. The others are toys by Bandai.
  21. The MMO FF game is 14.
  22. I dig how it looks a bit like the Stampede Valkyrie.
  23. The definition of a model is basically "Something that represnts something else." That includes drawings and mathematical furmulae. (Spelling?)
  24. Again the Hardgraph line of Bandai kits shows they have the know how to do Hardcore model kits that need glue and putty. I'm hoping the new kit is a static model that can go to town with detail with no regard to structural integrity of the item. I say this because I want to see Cheng go to town on it.
