The single VF-0S I got from HoHoHo Toys on Ebay was a second edition with the feet that lock outward for Battroid mode. That's the only way you can tell them apart is to see if the feet thrusters lock when you pull them out. -Kyp

Since Yamato has decided that they want all of their perfect transforming toys in 1/60 scale, then your answer is obvious. Also, they are redoing the VF-1 series with the new 1/60 scale so I wouldn't buy the old VF-1 1/60 line that's on Ebay. The new 1/60 VF-1 Valks are supposed to be out this summer. LOL...beat to the punch by a minute. -Kyp

I'm quite confident that we'll see the 1D, VT-1, and VE-1, it's just a matter of what gets made first and when. My two favorites are the 1D and VT-1. As for the VE-1, I like the TV version better, but that's just me. -Kyp

Thanks man, I'm REALLY proud of my Millia mod that I did, Testor's flat red paint matches Millia's paint scheme well, FYI. Testor's dark blue with a bit of white mixed in matches Max's too. It had a part of the blue paint that had the white underneath showing, so I had to touch it up. The Millia mod that I did is what Chara-Works SHOULD have done with the Hikaru and Millia in the first place. I think they realized this and that's why you see Max in Vol. 2 without all that ridiculous ordinance and movable wings. I think that if they knew better the first time around, they would have made Millia and Hikaru's 1J like that to begin with. I want a cannon fodder Vol. 1 and after that, I want Roy's plain 1S and VF-1D and that will do me for the Macross Valks. I want to see Mac 0 and Mac + done too, it would be AWESOME!!! *Edit* Thanks for the info, Vifam7. -Kyp

I just got done putting the water slide decals on the Millia, Max, and Super Ostrich....damn, they look good!! I took the canopy's off and sprayed them with Testor's Dull Coat to seal the decals. The Super O is AWESOME!! And yes, Millia has been modified to have variable wings too. -Kyp

TV Max and Millia w/ FP's and a regular Roy 1S is what I'm wanting the most for the next volume. I think it'd be great if they'd do Mac 0 and Mac + valks...that would rule! @ misterryno : Umm...have you tried soaking them in water? You do know they're water slide decals, right? -Kyp

I decided to take the missile pods back off Millia and I also took it apart and made the wings movable. Turns out that though the wings on the ones that are non-movable are all one piece, but each side of the wings still has a peg that they fit in. So I removed the wing, and cut them into two pieces and put each wing back on their pegs and glued the chest piece back on. I figured that since TV Max is that way, Millia should be too! -Kyp

Actually, I just broke them off and used a sharp knife to take the rest off with. I then used flat white on Hikaru to paint over those places. I still need to pick up some flat red for Millia's so I can finish her up. Then I'm going to put on the decals and remove the canopy's before sealing the decals in with Testor's Dull Coat. -Kyp

I love these 1/144 Valks! And Hikaru and Millia look much better after a little bit of modding, I think. They go great with my Konami BSG Viper too. The seat in the viper is the same size as the seats in the Valks so they're either in the same scale or damned close. -Kyp

Why wouldn't Yamato make a two seater? Graham already said that they've been engineered from the start to allow for two seaters. We just might not see one right after Roy, but we're gonna see them this time around, it's just a matter of when. -Kyp

All I know is this...my $200 refund check is gonna be put to wonderful use...allowing me to own a 1/60 YF-21! I keep looking at all the pictures and drooling...I'm more excited about this than I was about the YF-19...and this is coming from someone who liked the 19 over the 21. Based on his review, if I was still able to get a Green or Red MPC from a place that accepts returns, that's just what I'd do...but that's me. Looks like I'll be sticking to MPC's. *Edit* Thank you very much for your in depth review, Jenius! -Kyp
