  1. Looks to be the most line art accurate fighter mode yet since the VF-0's. -Kyp
  2. I like the matte finish, it goes better with the other 1/60 Valks in my opinion. -Kyp
  3. Oh yeah, come to papa you beautiful sonofabitch! Should have this in hand in just under a month from now.... -Kyp
  4. don't buy it, don't buy it, don't buy it, don't buy it, you don't like it, so just don't buy it then. -Kyp
  5. Having the rectangular thruster exhaust ports in the feet is one more thing these new 1/60's have over the 1/48's. The old 1/60 VF-1 line is nothing compared to this new 1/60 line. Long live the new 1/60 VF-1 line! -Kyp
  6. This is the only other Valk other than the MPC version that has the rectangular thrusters inside the feet that I know of. I've been waiting for someone else to make one like this, but I never expected to see this on the new 1/60 version! -Kyp
  7. How in the HELL did I miss this?!?! Look at the insides of the feet thrusters!! FULL OF WIN INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!! -Kyp
  8. Well, this being engineered from the start for two-seat versions, I would think that those two would be be a given. -Kyp
  9. Yep, but seeing as this appears to be a final production version sample, then nothing short of something going awry during production should cause any release delays. (I hope) -Kyp
  10. I absolutely couldn't agree with you more. I knew this was gonna be the nail in the old 1/60 lines market value coffin. And it's looking that way more and more...this could even hurt the 1/48 line too, although there will always be people who are fans of the 1/48. -Kyp
  11. And the fingers all move individually....finally, we can make our battroids give the "one-fingered salute", lol. -Kyp
  12. DAMN @ all the tampo printing on the fighter itself!!! You can look at it and tell this isn't the painted resin prototype we've been seeing. Also, note that other than the "UN SPACY" on the leg fast packs no other part of the fast packs have any markings. AWESOME!!!! -Kyp
  13. I just pre-orderd mine with VALKYRIE-EXCHANGE.com, $133.20 with shipping insurance is about as good as it's gonna get. I didn't want to pay more than $125, but I think the improvements over the 1/48 are worth it if this thing is everything that Graham says it is. -Kyp
  14. My guess would be by making the break point far back enough to not have to use an exposed hinge. It doesn't look like it would have to be made much further back to do this. -Kyp
  15. They are, if I remember right, the earlier release dates had the non FP version and the FP set to be on sale about a month after the Strike/Super version debuts. -Kyp
  16. This is a far cry from what you're describing. This isn't made out of paper and sheet styrene and those details damn sure aren't penciled in either. This is a fully transforming resin prototype that is obviously for the most part how we're gonna be getting this. And, as others have said, the break point for transforming appears to be too close to the canopy for them not to use pegs to on the outside to raise and lower it. If they can't or won't change that, then that's an epic failure in my book because it makes it look much worse than it would otherwise. I'd love to be wrong about this, because I was really looking forward to this. -Kyp
  17. That's the same painted prototype with stickers that we've been seeing all along. Graham already said this is going to have more tampo than the 1/48's did so it stands to reason that the heat shield will be no different. -Kyp
  18. I can deal with the wait for the delivery, I just didn't want to see this get pushed back another month. -Kyp
  19. No, I don't think that at all, that's too much of a "conspiracy theory" if you ask me. But unless they make some real changes to that 1/60 prototype of theirs, it's going to tank like a lead zepplin and get some really bad reviews sculpt-wise. -Kyp
  20. I tell you what, if you're right and me and the others wrong, I will HAPPILY eat humble pie because this is one case where I'd be glad to be wrong. -Kyp
  21. I agree, they've obviously worked out how it's going to transform and I don't recall ever seeing any prototype valks that far along being changed much, if any, in terms of sculpt. Yeah, I sit here and hope like some of you here, but I'm really not expecting this thing to be much different other than them showing it painted in another month or two. -Kyp
  22. I don't care either, I think it looks great in all modes. -Kyp
  23. OK, WTF....hinge pins for the canopy?!? You're fraking kidding me right? Umm....yeah, PASS. And I agree the 1/72 looks WAY better. Why the **** could they not at least adapt the sculpt of the 1/72 and use it for the 1/60? While I agree about Yamato's faults, most QC issues can be dealt with, but like eugimon said, there's no fixing a craptacular sculpt. Those hinge pins put the last proverbial nail in the coffin of this 1/60 offering, IMO. -Kyp
