  1. I've always been partial to the YF-19 myself. Though as far as the 1/60 Yamato version goes, the YF-21 fighter mode is more anime accurate. In fact, it may be the most anime accurate Valk ever with the VF-O's coming in a close second. -Kyp
  2. The Macross saga part of Robotech was my favorite, so it was easy enough for me to get into the original version which is SDF Macross. If it wasn't for Robotech, I'd never have learned about SDF Macross. Back on topic, the only one I want right now is the Roy 1S...I'll start paying attention again when they get to the TV Valks and two seat variants. -Kyp
  3. Yeah, but for all we know, that could mean "late July" so that would make it another month of waiting which I do happen to care about. -Kyp
  4. This is a much smaller scale than the 1/48 so that's to be expected. They did manage to reproduce and/or improve most of the 1/48's gimmicks and even managed to add a few more that are exclusive to this new line. So that minor detail doesn't bother me in the least. -Kyp
  5. I think the nose length and canopy look fantastic...bring on all the variants!! -Kyp
  6. Better, but I don't like that gap between the body and legs in fighter mode. I hope that it just isn't quite transformed right. -Kyp
  7. Some people may not like the gimmicks like the mirror canopy, but I think it's great that Yamato decided to go all out with the V2 1/60 VF-1 series. Definitely gonna get the Roy, but will hold off on the Hikaru 1A till they come out with the 1S version. -Kyp
  8. Wow....what a first post!! Welcome to the forums, brother! -Kyp
  9. Can't say I'm too surprised, they made the YF-19 and YF-21, it was only logical that they made the VF-11B. Though I would have thought that a Mac+ VF-0D would have been next in line... -Kyp
  10. ORLY? PM sent! -Kyp
  11. LOL that was the reason I went with him as well, he had the absolute lowest price for these. The wait is hard, but worth it. -Kyp
  12. Must....have....my....YF-21.... *Cough* *Choke* *Gasp* *Wheeze*..................................................................dying. .........please...........hurry.............. *THUD* -Kyp
  13. Pretty much. At least I don't see Yamato trying to improve on the 1/60 V2 line anytime soon if ever. -Kyp
  14. *Raises hand* You and me both man...you and me both... -Kyp
  15. PM'ed you the info, Kevin. -Kyp
  16. I've decided on having one 1/48...(See sig), but that's it, it's all gonna be 1/60 V2's from here on out! -Kyp
  17. No...HELL no. -Kyp
  18. Awesome!! I subscribed so I can look it over when I finally get mine in. -Kyp
  19. Since I'm only interested in the Roy 1S, I can easily pass on the Hikaru 1A. Now when they start coming out with the Hikaru 1S and especially if they do a Max 1S, then I might have a harder time passing those up. -Kyp
  20. Whoa, that was quick, they already have a production sample of the Hikaru 1A. I bet the next one you'll see will be the Max 1A followed by Kakizaki's 1A completing the DRYL skull squadron. After that, I'm betting either the first two seat variants will come out, or they'll have the T.V. valks out first. -Kyp

    2 seater 1/48s

Sorry, I don't do kits and I don't think I can afford to have anyone build them for me either. I guess I'll be one of the ones spending mad money on the V2 1/60's... -Kyp
  22. I might have to break down and buy the YF-19 fighter mode, it looks OK to me. -Kyp
  23. I don' t care about anything else at this point, I'm just happy that fuggin' canopy hinge is gone. I have never been happier to have been wrong. -Kyp
  24. This Valk is looking to be one Yamato's best releases yet and QC-error free to boot. God, waiting another couple of weeks is gonna damn near kill me... -Kyp
  25. Beautiful work, my friend!! I've saved it in case I ever decide to take it out of fighter mode when I get it, lol. -Kyp
