Yeah, I happened to see it on Amazon Japan, and it was a bit lower, got it for $272.78 USD shipped. My TV Roy 1S at Nin-Nin cost me $275 USD shipped.
-
Well, I managed to snag a VF-1S Hikaru brand new shipped for slightly less than what I paid for the Roy VF-1S preorder with shipping, so if nothing else, I will finally be able to see for myself what all the fuss is/was about.
-
Damn, I'm sorry to hear about that, so far, they haven't done anything like that with my order, but there's still alot of time between now and release day.
-
Nevermind.

Missed out, here's hoping I don't get screwed by Nin-Nin.
-
Gonna sit this one out, Roy's is the only one I want, unless they make a Hikaru TV 1S.
-
I'd like to know this as well.
-
Agreed.
-
Thanks, will go that route, just got to get my financial ducks in a row first.
-
Where did you see if for $250?
-
I was thinking of that, although Hikaru's 1J is pretty iconic...
-
I know it sucks bro, but if push comes to shove, there will always be the secondary market.
-
Once I get my finances in order for this month, I might actually look into getting one of the other DX valks, not sure which one. Yeah, I know, I've held out this long for Roy's, but I'm getting tempted to have one in hand before then, lol.

Seeing these pictures is tempting me to get this version now rather than wait for the shadow version...

Not possible, he wasn't in Soviet Russia at the time of his death.
-
I'd say between ¥25,000 and ¥30,000.
-
It may very well be, and you're right, there would be a lot of PO's getting cancelled.
-
TV Fast Packs, and it's definitely in fighter mode on it's own stand. Highly doubt it's Roy's, most likely it's TV Hikaru's VF-1S, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was sold as a complete set, but I could be wrong.
-
I think Yamato overall made fighter mode more accurate to the lineart while Bandai did a better job covering the gaps that the Yamato version had that showed the legs and feet in fighter mode. That said, I do like the looks of the Bandai version in fighter mode, I'm not that picky about fighter mode lineart with the YF-21 because there seemed to be a lot of anime magic going on with it.
-
The real question is, did they make as many of these as they have the others?
-
Yep, as far as I know, those were the only two that had those stands so far.
-
Boy that would sure be nice, this PO bloodbath stuff is not something I care to repeat. It's been many years since I last participated in one here on the forums with you all. It took Banda's DX 1/48 Roy to bring me back, lol.
-
It would all depend on whether or not the DX 1/48 was designed from the start with two seaters in mind. Yamato's 1/60 V2's were designed with two seaters in mind from day one. I fear that we will never see such a complete paint scheme release ever again.

Cart jacked once at HLJ, 3 times at Ami-Ami, and never saw an "add to cart" while refreshing NY. Ultimately ended up taking a chance with Nin-Nin.
