There may be a reissue, but I doubt it. They might do a bundle pack with armor/super packs, but if we go by the way Bandai released their stand alone V1's, I think if you don't get one now, you might wind up SOL. -Kyp

Wow, I remember you posting about it, but actually seeing it, damn. I hope that anyone who knowingly sends products out like that gets the karma of having bad QC issues with everything major that they buy....for life. -Kyp

I agree, and even though everyone complains about Yamato's QC, from what I've observed, Bandai has a long way to go before they'll be on Yamato's level, in my opinion. -Kyp

Right now, I'm going to say that my Bandai VF-25F renewal version is my current favorite. -Kyp

Missing Valkyrie...Need to Vent Post....
Kyp Durron replied to VALKYRIE-EXCHANGE.COM's topic in Toys
I'd be willing to bet that it was a pissed off factory worker that did it, I don't see how it would be possible to seal the box without knowing that the valk wasn't in it. It would be much lighter than normal with out it, and easy to notice. -Kyp -
Indeed it is, and I would be super pissed if mine had come that way. -Kyp

Bandai DX Chogokin YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie
Kyp Durron replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Nah, still doesn't do enough for me to want to buy it, I'd rather spend the money on another VF-25, or another VF-1 variant, to be honest. -Kyp -
Didn't they also say that they weren't going to release a super pack for the VF-25S? -Kyp

When something comes up for preorder, that's when you strike, especially in the case of Bandai's VF-25's. I knew they were (both Alto and Ozma) going to sell out very fast, so I hit the preorder button the minute I knew about them. Best advice I can give you is that when you see a thread here about something you're wanting, like the VF-25 thread, check back for new posts daily, because someone is almost always going to post pre-order links in it at some point. Or, you could always keep an eye on the major retailers the same way too. -Kyp

Yep, that will pretty much insure they all will Yellow, lol. Has anyone used this on their Valks before? http://www.myboatstore.com/aerospaceprotectant.asp -Kyp
-
If you think the yellowing problem is bad now, wait until they get rid of incandescent light bulbs. -Kyp
-
If mine starts to yellow any time soon, I'll just sell it off and never get another white one again. Thankfully, Ozma's is a grey color, and should (Hopefully) be OK for a long time to come. -Kyp

I thought the last Macross valks to have them was the 1/48 VF-1's? Still, I'm surprised that no one mentioned (As far as I know) that the VF-25F version 2 had them. -Kyp
-
1/60, like the version 1.0's and Yamato's current Macross valks. -Kyp
-
BTW, I don't think anyone's mentioned this before, but the wings sort of lock into 4 positions, from all the way out to all the way retracted for atmospheric re-entry. I think the 1/48 VF-1's did this as well, but it's been a long time since I've had one. -Kyp

Looks great, but you know what? For once, I'm actually going to refrain from taking a Gundam marker to this, I kinda like it as is. To me, it's pretty much a scaled up 1/72 model, without all the hassle of putting one together and dealing with water slide and sticker decals. -Kyp Pics:

Got mine today, didn't really have any sloppy paint apps and only some very small Black paint chips that were quickly taken care of via a Black Sharpie ultra fine point marker. There's a tiny chip in the white paint on the lip of the main intake, that can be fixed super easy, other than that, it's perfect. Overall, much fewer paint issues than what I've seen posted in pictures thus far, so I count myself lucky. Very well pleased with it, and can't wait for Ozma! I second what David said though, we need to set up Ozma armor group buys...ASAP. I will post pictures tomorrow of mine, very tempted to break out the Gundam marker on this, lol. -Kyp

So the armor and super parts are going to be web shop exclusives? That means I'd have to buy more bare valks and then hope I can get the armor and super parts through Save or some other member here...crap. -Kyp
-
I'm going to expect them, but at the same time praying that I'm going to get lucky, lol. -Kyp

Mine was also in the JFK sorting facility on the 23rd, and mine's due to arrive today. I suspect that unless they decided to be a-holes and hold yours, you should also be getting yours today. Interesting that Graham and a few others didn't have paint chip problems out of the box, I wonder if this happened during part of the run, or if it was a bit here and there throughout the entire run. -Kyp

Great, paint chips out of the box, nice, Bandai. -Kyp
