  1. Also, I'm hoping that the color mismatch is more noticeable in photos than in person. -Kyp
  2. Color match fail between the painted metal intakes and the colored plastic on the VF-25S. -Kyp
  3. Oh how I wish they would, I honestly think that if they did, they would make a ton of cash. -Kyp
  4. If they did that, there would be a lot of wallets screaming for mercy. That being said, that would be awesome. -Kyp
  5. And I also prefer the TV series as well, I treat the movie as either an alternate reality version or like DYRL, an in universe movie based on actual events. -Kyp
  6. LOL...dude, I don't think anyone had much confidence in Bandai's ability to make one after the VF-25 first versions came out and people actually got them in their hands. I think it's the latter more than the more than the former, the VF-25F has sold REALLY well, they just made many more of them than the YF-29 because they probably felt that they weren't going to be able to sell as many of those. -Kyp
  7. Didn't need fixing, I consider these completed models more than toys, always have. -Kyp
  8. This is without a doubt, the absolute favorite Macross pre-painted model that I own, even over the 1/60 Roy DRYL VF-1S: It's simply THE MOST anime accurate Valk ever produced, with the only possible exceptions being the VF-27's and YF-29, and upcoming VF-25 2.0 releases, of course. Note how thin, yet deeply etched the panel lines are...even I don't see a need to panel line this, they're so deeply etched, they look like there's really separate panels making up the fuselage of the aircraft! I had to repaint the Black in the thrusters on the shield section, apparently, the monkey they had doing mine fell asleep at the wheel and paint template wasn't lined up worth a crap. So I had to remove the factory paint and redo mine. (By hand!) Believe me when I say that my job turned out far better than the half-assed factory applied detail. Also, in case anyone who doesn't own one didn't know, check out the amazing painted painted on detail on the insides of the wing gloves, and on the lower lip as well! I was very pleasantly surprised by that. -Kyp
  9. Just HAD to get the VF-25S super pack, will be trying to get a second VF-25S later on to have on display. -Kyp
  10. I'm definitely in for Ozma's Super pack. -Kyp
  11. How? It's not even in English. -Kyp
  12. I bet you they will sell out before we can even get a group buy started. -Kyp
  13. Yes, we need to do a group buy. -Kyp
  14. No, it's because her boobs are "S" rank...when she's not in loli mode. -Kyp
  15. I have a feeling even more people would actually get this once they see the painted prototypes. I wish Graham would chime in here and let us know if Yamato might actually do this or not. I see no reason for them not to, at least a limited run, if nothing else. Just don't make it a web exclusive!! -Kyp
  16. Which is one of the reasons why I like the Stealth version the best. I've come close to getting the 1/48, but I'd rather have the v2 1/60 because not only would it be smaller, it wouldn't have the low hanging shoulders in fighter mode. -Kyp
  17. Either way, other than re-issues, the only other thing for Yamato to do with the mold is to start making non cannon paint schemes. A 1/60 version of Yamato's limited 1/48 Low Vis would also be nice. I'd still rather have the Stealth scheme made first, though. -Kyp
  18. No fraking way, there are some things you just don't mess with. Also, honestly, I think Daniel Craig is the worst Bond ever. I'll start watching Bond movies again when they get someone actually worth a damn to play the role. -Kyp
  19. Nope, still doesn't beat AmiAmi, lol. -Kyp
  20. I loved the paint scheme on the 1/48 VF-1J stealth, but I've been waiting forever for Yamato to make a 1/60 V2 version. So since it was brought up in the 1/48 VF-1S TV thread, I felt it needed it's own thread here. So, if Yamato decided to make one, would you buy it? I know if they did, I'd be all over it like white on rice! Hell, I might even buy two. -Kyp
  21. Their price for VF-25S is still more expensive than AmiAmi's current (much higher than before) price for the VF-25F. -Kyp
  22. This. Graham, could you PRETTY PLEASE suggest to Yamato to make a 1/60 V2 VF-1J Stealth version? I've been waiting for one for a long time now. Also, while they're at it, a woodland color scheme might not be a bad idea either. And yes, I'd probably buy a 1/48 TV version 1S if they made one. -Kyp
  23. Amen. I don't think I'll ever get tired of admiring and playing with it. It's by far my favorite valk, and will only be equaled by my Ozma when I get it. Oh, did I mention that the wings are straight? -Kyp
  24. I'm glad someone else feels the same way, I was beginning to wonder, lol. +1 -Kyp
