Yes, but by what ever era they decide to continue the franchise in, whether it's set 5 years, 10 years, or 15 years, etc. after the events of Macross Frontier, the VF 25 will most likely be playing NUNS cannon fodder bitch to whatever super-cala-fragilistic hero valk kawamari comes up with next. -Kyp

I'd be shocked if it was under $300. -Kyp

I had that happen a couple of times myself, the last time it happened I called the carrier's post office and complained and told them that I was home all day and they still didn't bother driving up my driveway. I hasn't happened since. -Kyp

I still want to know if the lower stabilizers are angled with the tail fins, they seem to have everything else in hand as far as I can see. If they do that, then this will be right up there with Bandai's recent VF-25's and Alto VF-171 releases in terms of overall accuracy. -Kyp

Stay classy, sir. On topic, as it has already been said, I'm guessing we won't be so fortunate with NY in the future now that everyone knows about them and their apparent in stock reliability with this release. -Kyp

It's certainly a beautiful bird, no doubt about it. But I had to make a judgement call, it was either this, or Caslon's VF-1S Low Vis version he had for sale. I'm at peace with my choice, and I think I'll just wait for the CF version. Besides, the VF-4 currently has my undivided attention, unless they announce an Ozma reissue. -Kyp

It's interesting to note that since the Yamato is now 333 meters, the 1/500 Yamato that is actually the 2199 version isn't really 1/500. That scale was assuming the Yamato is 265 meters. But if it's actually the 2199 version, then being 333 meters makes the scale more around 1/628. And what of the Bandai GX-57 Yamato? Since the Yamato's size was changed to 333 meters to truly accommodate the fighters it's supposed to be carrying, then the GX 57's scale comes out to 1/771. Taito's Yamato 2220 version, was 1/590, but with the new size of 333 meters, it's now 1/740. Which is cool, because that puts both the GX-57 and the Yamato 2220 basically in scale with my DST Wrath of Khan Enterprise which is 1/750: And the GX-57 with the Enterprise, and a communicator thrown in..for fun. -Kyp

While you're at it, how about some wing glove "plugs" to fill in those cut outs for the shoulder hinges, it's the one thing that's always irked me about the 1/60 V2 fighter mode. The 1/48's don't have them (As I recall) and neither does the VF-0's. -Kyp

Graham said to have patience, so I'm pretty sure Yamato is planning to revisit the YF-19. -Kyp

One thing is certain, if Yamato had the license instead, we would have no trouble getting these, and Yamato would be making mad cash. I find myself resenting Bandai more and more each day. -Kyp

If Ozma comes back for reissue, I am really hoping someone here will be able to organize a group buy, because I'll be on that list with a quickness. -Kyp

I'd buy one for sure, and "Yes, PLEASE!" to a moon shooters and other non cannon paint schemes. Also, while Yamato is at it, GIVE US A 1/60 V2 LOW VISIBILITY VERSION, DAMN IT!! -Kyp

Does anyone know why it's been pushed back yet again? -Kyp

Don't like the rainbow coating on the V2 1/60 VF-1 canopy?
Kyp Durron replied to Kyp Durron's topic in The Workshop!
Good to know that the 91% Isopropyl Alcohol works, you kind of had to do a bit of rubbing with the acrylic thinner too. -Kyp -
1/60 VF-1 Accessory Parts from Yamato displayed at Wonder Fest
Kyp Durron replied to Graham's topic in Toys
What's the difference between the two, other than one's built and the other one isn't? -Kyp -
The only way I'll ever support a revival of the 1/48 line is if they make a V2 version of it that fixes the low hanging shoulders in fighter mode. Otherwise, let it stay dead. -Kyp

I couldn't help myself, I caved in and pre ordered it. At least they're easier to come by than a VF-25S Renewal... -Kyp
