  1. First time I've ever heard of the classic "Cannon Fodder" scheme being called "lazy". -Kyp
  2. Red 5 standing by. -Kyp
  3. *shrugs* I figured it would be somewhere around $360 shipped, and it being in April should mean that I will have time to get the money up for it. -Kyp
  4. Don't care, will buy. -Kyp
  5. That side profile was pretty much how I thought it would be. That's about as slim as it gets for perfect transformation, IMO. Good enough for me! -Kyp
  6. No, it won't say that on the ship itself, it never did in the original series, and I see no reason why it would now. I AM hoping that it will have the name on the stand itself, that will be a first, and will differentiate it from the Japan version, which is the main reason I got this one too. I'm not surprised, with the popularity of the reboot series, this thing was guaranteed to sell out and will be VERY sought after, even more so than the previous versions. And rightfully so, who wouldn't want a 100% anime accurate version? But, I have a feeling that the Starblazers version will end up being worth more since this will be the first time ever that something like this is being marketed strictly for the U.S., and may be in more limited numbers than it's Japanese counter part. At least, that was my reasoning when I preordered from BBTS. Well, that, and my OCD... *EDIT* NY still has it's preorder up. -Kyp
  7. The GX-64 won't have any weathering, which in my opinion is a plus. Also, it's 100% accurate to the anime since it uses their CGI files. The aircraft are in scale with the GX-64 version, unlike the GX-57 which in my opinion had the aircraft a little too big of a scale to be in scale with that Yamato. This is just my opinion, but I think the Yamato 2199 design is a better overall sculpt than the GX-57 which was much better in my opinion than the BPX-01. Not to mention that you'll be able to get the GX-64 for much less than the over inflated Ebay prices for the GX-57. -Kyp
  8. I ordered a second one through BBTS, just to have the Starblazers version....*sigh*...I can't help myself. -Kyp
  9. Apparently, the GX-64 Yamato will also be released here in the U.S. under the "Starblazers" moniker :
  10. Hmm...I wonder if someone could take those U.N. Fleet set decals and make them larger for the SOC Yamato and the new 1/500 kit....? I'd certainly buy a set or two. -Kyp
  11. Don't care, neither my 1/1000 nor my 1/500 has those markings, but it didn't stop me from buying and building them up, and it didn't stop me from just now hitting the preorder button. -Kyp
  12. I don't see anything there that convinces me to buy yet another large 2199 Yamato model. -Kyp
  13. Dear Arcadia, Please put this man in charge of your paint scheme variants from here on out, kthnx. -Kyp
  14. I'd buy this any day. -Kyp
  15. Nobody in their right mind, IMO. -Kyp
  16. Interesting, but I already have the 1/500 Yamato that came out in 2010, I'd rather put my money towards the new SOC 2199 Yamato coming out. -Kyp
  17. If they were to come out with a low-vis type scheme for this, I'd be willing to sell a kidney to get it. -Kyp
  18. I don't know, but I found myself feeling sorry for it/them. -Kyp
  19. I'm definitely going to hold onto my 1/60 Low Vis Roy 1S, it's highly unlikely they'll ever be reissued ever again. -Kyp
  20. I see Bandai can't print the skulls straight either.... -Kyp
  21. This. -Kyp
  22. Am I the only one wondering how the battle would have went if the Yamato had VF-25's? Would have probably made things waay too one sided, though. -Kyp
  23. Oh where, oh where is the Ozma renewal reissue...? Oh when, oh when will it be....? *Sigh* -Kyp
