  1. How the **** does that work? I refreshed 2 seconds before 2 am, clicked on "add to cart" and it refreshed showing sold out. That's freaking bullshit. Why, so it can tear through the space-time continuum and sell out before it actually goes on sale?
  2. I did think it was funny that this site crashed around the same time, unfortunately, that's the only thing I found funny about this.
  3. I was at AmiAmi and I refreshed RIGHT ON TIME, and literally, clicked on add to cart, and it was sold out. The sad part is, that I wasn't even surprised in the least. In fact, I actually half expected it. I'm DONE with Bandai. I'm tired of their bullshit, and I'm simply not going to deal with it anymore. I don't need ANYTHING by them bad enough to play their games anymore. There's no excuse for this, they could do it the way Arcadia does it, and make them to order. From now on, if it isn't there for me by the time I wake up in the morning, then that's fine by me. I will GLADLY spend that money elsewhere. Have fun playing the F5 game, boys and girls, better you guys than me.
  4. My order shipped from AmiAmi yesterday, I got two of them, and with the points I've earned, it came out to a little over $13 total including EMS shipping for two of them, can't beat that!
  5. This, all the Goddamned way. They will always be the Super Dimensional Dickheads of Macross in my book for re-releasing every damned thing else EXCEPT the one thing they HAVE TO KNOW we want more than anything, the VF-25S. And I promise yo- No, I GUARANTEE YOU that they've driven the desire for it up so much because of it, that when the finally DO re-release it, it will be gone in seconds, mark my words.
  6. According to the scale calculator, it is 1:2775. It's odd, but this is supposed to be a "non scale" model series anyways.
  7. You still have to put it together, but it looks pretty easy : http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10261970
  8. I see missile mounts under the wings, exclusive missile set anyone?
  9. Just paid for my Mecha Collection 01 Yamato 2199, it's going to be 120mm long, so that puts it just a hair under 4 3/4 inches. Tiny.
  10. You know what would be even better? If Bandai would quit being Super Dimensional Dickheads and re-release Ozma's VF-25S, that's what.
  11. All I want to know is when is the preorder open. I love the fighter mode, and that's how it's going to be displayed, so I don't care about any aesthetic design issues with the Battroid mode.
  12. I've got the Mecha Collection #01 preordered, got two of them for the cheap price, couldn't pass it up.
  13. ^Correct. Quite frankly, the 2199 is the best Yamato version ever made, second only to Bandai's limited DVD box set 1/700 model version. Man, I wish I could get one of those.
  14. What spoiler? All it showed was the previous series' and the dates that they came out....?
  15. **** no.
  16. Just watched Episode 14 and 15, episode 14...Jesus, did NOT see that coming, wow. O.o
  17. Do not worry, you have chosen...wisely. They can gripe about the wave motion gun/bow all they like, but the reality is, is that it used the CGI from the anime just like the Bandai models. I have compared it to my bandai 1/500 and 1/1000 and the sculpt is spot on. The GX-64's sculpt is 100% anime accurate. As for the GX-57, I have it, and the GX-64 makes it look VERY, VERY toyish. In my opinion, it is more of a prebuilt model, with lights and sounds, and has the 1/1000's fighter bay gimmick built in. (Only difference is, you can't remove it, but hey...) Yes, it would have been nice to have the fighter bay lit up, but let's face reality, that most likely would have raised the costs to the point where most wouldn't have bothered with it. The problem is, is that we've already had two Yamato's within the last 7 years or so, the reissue BPX-01, and then the GX-57 in 2010. And now, in 2014, this GX-64. That's really pushing it, but I'm sure Bandai was also aware of it and wouldn't have done it at all, if not for the popularity of the 2199 series.
  18. I know, right? Goddamn you Bandai, quit screwing around and give us our Ozma re-release already.
  19. Well, crap. Now I need to buy another VF-1S (Roy's) to try out your leg mod for fighter mode.
  20. I love my VF-25A, looking at it on it's flight pose stand NEVER gets old. Landing gear comes out and goes back in easily for those times I want to display it sitting on it's landing gear. Also, LOVE the purple tint they went with for this release.
  21. I preorderd that new mecha collection model by bandai, at only 300 yen a pop, I got two of them. The level of detail is INSANE for something that's ONLY 120mm LONG. Molded in two colors, red and grey just like the other Bandai models, I can put this thing together, panel line it, and try to paint what other details I can and be done with it. Can't wait to get them in.
  22. Wat Da Fuq?! http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN989483/Sci Look at the detail on that little thing! Better pic here : http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10261970b/30/1
