I would LOVE to see a V2 1/48 come out, with all the things that's been learned since the 1/60 V2's first arrived.

The V1 and V2 are worlds apart in quality and line art accuracy. Skipping the V1 VF-25's was one of the smartest choices I've ever made in this hobby. The only thing better than the V2 would be a VF-25 made by Arcadia, IMO. It's a moot point though, it won't happen anytime soon, if ever.

We all do man, we all do. We shouldn't have to bend over and grab our ankles to get one from a scalper. Sadly, it's looking like I will just have to be content with my VF-25A. Which isn't hard, as I think it's still the best looking one of them all.

I'm really debating panel lining this with my gundam marker, the panel lines are so sharp and detailed in person as is, that I don't think marking them in with either a panel line wash or a gundam marker is going to translate well at that scale. I think I'm just going to paint the windows and other minor details and leave it at that.

Probably because they figured that we don't generally see all those panel lines in the anime, which we don't. This is all we see for about 90% of the anime :

Just got the mecha collection 01 Yamato 2199 in today and put it together. I can't recommend it highly enough. The hull panel lining detail is only second to the new 1/500 model and not by much! I'm not kidding...

I've changed my mind, my wish is that Arcadia get's the Frontier license so I don't have to put up with Bandai's shenanigans anymore.
