    I should have been more clear, by main variable fighter, I was actually referring to the "hero" mechs. The mass produced fighters will probably be VF-25's.

    Andromeda is going to need some design revisions to be sure. Compared to the improved capabilities we now see in the Yamato, the Andromeda of old simply isn't going to cut it anymore.

    No, they were sensors, the Hasegawa 1/72 YF-19 model was the same way, had sensor markings. They must has said "screw it" at some point and decided to retcon it.

    I think you're right, seems like they decided to make them thrusters. Not sure if it was retconed at some point, but it may have been.

    I currently don't have either. I like them both, but am torn on which one to get first knowing that I won't be buying anything else for a while.

    OK, so here it is, I'm in need of advice on my next purchase, keep in mind I can get only ONE of these anytime soon. I'm very torn between Bandai's Ozma's VF-25S and the VF-19 Advance. For those of you with both, which is better? Keep in mind that this will most likely stay in fighter mode.

    Yeah, the more I look at it, the less I like it. I think I'd rather not have the reactive armor at all if that's the best they can do. Maybe someone here can make a plug for it.
