I probably would not get them, for the same reason I am skipping thye toynami 1/100 line. I already have these in 1/48 and don't want to display the same toy in all different scales. Most of my 1/60s are packed away except for the Elint, Ostrich and 1D - which will also go in boxes when the 1/48 versions come out

Yamato chose a very poor color for the Strike packs. The Green clashes horribly with the yellow on the Focker valk. They got the color right on the 1/60 as others have mentioned.

It would be cool if they could actually be used as a helmet. I go to a road caorse with my car that requires a helmet. In fact I have a shiny Bell helmet that I use for this. Hmm. Would making it a reak helmet hike up the cost signifigantly?

I have a custom Kakizaki I bought off someone right when the 1/48 1S came out. It's no big deal, it's just going to become custom fodder for all I care. I rather have official stuff. 419649[/snapback] Snob.

You are better off using a small flathead screw driver as it will get you more leverage than an exacto knife. The 1S head will get damaged taking it apart. But there is no other way to pry the two halves aprt in my experience. Good luck
