wait wait wait wait!!!, there will be no longer a difference between TV and DYRL white?? why? I loved this small detail. I'm starting to fear that Arcadia could fall with the terrible problem of listening to obsessed fans crazy ideas and start ruining stuff by trying to please everyone. Arcadia doesn't need to change standard things, just improve old error and add more stuff.

damnnnnnnn!!! now I want one! But I'd be concerned, the VF-9 is very small and could be fragile, unless Arcadia and Kawamori retcon it to something a tad bigger.

Yeah, fighter mode is nice and sleek, like a sport version of the YF-19. Gerwalk and Battroid on the other hand are a bit odd. I guess if Arcadia eventually does for the VF-9, they'd go for Max and Millia that are always good sellers.

I'm seeing used v2 VF-1 go for 40-60 a pop on Yahoo auctions. Only the increasingly rare one are keeping MSRP value except for VF-1J M&M and VF-X that are selling for high prices but not ridiculous anymore.

The VF-171 and the 27 had no need for an EX-gear, guess the EX-gear is optional except on the 25 cause it contains the flight controls and is compatible with high school non military EX-gears for any prepubescent kid to pilot any derelict private military top of the line valkyrie found in the streets............Gundam Frontier, I mean, MacrossF.

You're right David, I posted before seeing the pictures with the two VF-1S, the Arcadia one is definitely all decaled up and the ejection seat triangle is in a different position. I don't like it. Still keeping my preorder tough.

Seems MrK really likes the VF-9, curious how he keeps mentioning it over and over again eventough people keep asking about other valks, but I doubt its the next project. I still feel it will be back to Macross Zero.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!! If you stacked them all evenly in one corner as high as you can all that would take about a third of the room only. I keep all boxes in my closet, it has a well sized storage top where I kept crap and old travel bags that I recently threw away to make space to all my boxes that have now taken almost all the space there.

Fighter looks great, but I can't tell what's happening with that mess behind.

Most things about the Frontier mecha don't make any sense, specially all those weird beam weapons in the armor/FP for the 25 since you had to use a knife to kill the vajra. I dislike how in a combat POV battroid looks extremely fragile and vulnerable, I mean, the cockpit is fully exposed on the sides and back.

That's a shame. Well, waterside decals are not that hard to place considering Yamato/Arcadia's decals were really good quality and easy to place.

I think it was lying dormant in there because the search criteria was a bit off from the common search words and I guess people missed it. I remember there was a GBP-1S armor in the last page for 200 for about a month and noone bought it until it got shown here on the forums. So dapro, I take it you bought it since it's no longer available.

I can't read Japanese, Mandarake is trusty, bought many many things from them, everything second hand but in near mint condition. If the price is right for you, buy that thing NOW!! before some forum lurker swipes it out of your hand. Good luck!

umm...I'm gonna keep the faith, bummed that all the additional tampo may not be, but I don't think the ejection seat warning triangle is not tampoed, it's seen in all the previews shots of the Roy and Hikaru VF-1S. I'll just add that in the last shot showing the display stand, the same markings are seen in the Roy VF-1S, tampo or not, they're the same extra tampo that Yamato experimented on the VF-1J CF. Too bad Arcadia or MrK are not being entirely clear on this yet. Probably too focused on the YF-19.

I'd like to see it standing without the stand in a neutral stance or a dynamic pose where it's not hunched forward. Why no fighter pictures, that's the only mode everyone cares about.

Yamato always released all of their valk at the end of the announced month, the VF-1J 30th was the same so this will probably be end of November.

I was also gone for about 4 years and returned here late last year. Here's the deal. v2 1/60 became THE VF-1 to have after they fix the shoulder and crotch issues. Yamato milked it to death with almost every possible scheme and even dwelling into the really obscure schemes. Macross 7 license went full blast and the VF-11C, VF-17D/S, VF-19S/F/Kai/P, VF-22S were released. Destroids were released, 1/3000 SDF-1 was released. There was so much Macross to buy until Yamato finally announced and released the VF-4G, After that, Yamato went bust. With the prospect of no more Macross to be made, prices skyrocketed and people were buying everything at insane prices. Rumors finally came to fruition that a new company called Arcadia emerged from Yamato's ashes and would continue the Macross line. Arcadia will now continue releasing Macross stuff. They started with an ugly VF-1J 30th anniversary scheme design by Tenjin, they then announced a new v2 YF-19 and the reissue of the VF-1S Roy and Hikaru with some extra little things. The 3 are available for preorder now. Prices for old Yamato Macross stuff are now hitting rock bottom, so now is the best time to catch up or the best time to start with everything new and better from Arcadia. Between all this Bandai made some crap valks and is trying to catch up. EDIT: spelling and grammar

Of course Kawamori's seen Macross II, he's just being stubborn because they went over him and tried to do something with his baby and he will never acknowledge anything good from it. The best way to shut down dumb question about Macross II to him is to say he's never seen it and be left alone.
