  2. holy poo!! I'm shocked and amazed...that's truly a work of wonders
  3. hey! someone stole my avatar!! haha! I was gonna change it anyways... maybe the 1995 thing is perhaps that he's throwing Macross 7 into an AU since that was the year Macross 7 aired, right?! haha, kidding I'm just gonna wait for official news not get too excited or dissapointed and enjoy a new Macross series in the coming months
  4. that thing is completely beautiful, mayor props for your modeling talent, I'm sure the pictures don't do justice for your hard work! great stuff! keep it coming in the future
  5. look great...but I'll wait for the reviews of the 1st run
  6. it's the megaroad01 that folded backwards in time into 1995 and got jiggy with the bird human!!
  7. ooooooooh man, I so wanna see this... good to hear you're back here
  8. still, Yamato should have better quality check system, I know their a small company, but at the price range we're paying we should at least expect all this problem on 'lemons'; it seems that in Yamato's case, their 'lemons' are the ones without many problems almost every manufacturer, from cloths to toys uses factories in China or some other country (as long as it's not a sweat shop), for cheaper manufacturing prices, and in the end, their quality check is what prevent all those horrible misshaps, Yamato doesn't seem to really care or have a serious fault in the designing of many mechanical parts for their Macross line tell you the truth, I love their toys, I have sorta defended them before, but I'm starting to get fedd up with them releasing overpriced product after overpriced product with a lot of faults and they don't seem to be doing much about it and are leaving here poor old Graham to pick up the pieces, my last purchase was the terribly overpriced fold booster, waiting for it to get to my hand; andI was really hoping for the shin with ghost to come out perfect but it doesn't seem to have improved much, and by hell I'm not gonna get the SV-51, that thing looks like it's gonna be worst to handle than a contortionist, I'm seriously moving to scale models, cheaper, I can built them as perfect as I can and there's a bigger valk line, hell, if iI'm gona keep a toy on a shelf on a fixed pose, I'd rather have a 30 dollar model in there than a 200+ toy that's supposed to transform the only toys I may get from Yamato again until they fix their QC issue, are from their 1/48 line that took them like what? 3-4 releases to get it done...
  9. errrrrr.....blue angel blue and purple.....interesting choice... Hasegawa would've made a YF-19 battroid...don't care what color, but a battroid
  10. hmmm...I early bird mine too, I wonder exactly how long will it take for them to send them out I remember the people that pre-order the YF-19 took up to a month to get theirs after everyone else had gotten it.... *shutters* by the way, doesn't anyone think that box is horribly oversized for just 2 pieces of plastic?
  11. that's it!! I'm ditching toys and moving to models!! hmmm...glad I ran out of money before I preordered this, hahaha!! kidding anyway!, let me get this straight, for most of you guys, the toy is pretty tight, nothing loose or weak, only problem is the shoulder showing stress marks due to possibly overtighten screws?? that's it... maybe we should just wait a while longer to see if it's just a stress mark that can hold or if it will eventually break... like the YF-19 neck hinge thingy, everyone has stress marks but only one member has broken it... let's not jump into conclusion so quickly
  12. can't wait to see it finished...
  13. does the head comes with that nifty pull down visor that appeared before the armored VF-0S rammed it on the anime?
  14. just noticed noticed something about your valks they're not weathered but still look freakin awesome
  15. wow, those are truly awesome!! impressive skills man!! great kitbashing also... great and unique... niceeeeeeeeeee
  16. urrr....Minmei meets firebomber?? I hope she slaps Basara and Mylene silly for the crappy music, hahaha ok, kidding aside are we gonna finally get an answer to what happened to Hikaru, Misa and Minmei? could it be... oh, i hope so...
  17. don't know why the regult would be expensive and difficult to produce it's just one ball with two leggs... in fact, the plastic that Yamato uses is very light and would see no problem supporting itself unless they continue making floppy joints, and for packaging they could just make the leggs extra articulate to pack up like a ball or something and not popular enough to buy? every person I have shown my valks tell me the exact same thing "you should get the little blue ball from the bad guys" I wouldn't pay more than 50 bucks if it were produced with all the accessories mentioned but knowing they are capable of charging 60+ bucks for 4 pieces of plastic for the YF-19 fold booster I wouldn0't be surprised by them if they dare to make it 80+
  18. Hello, I searched but couldn't find the exact info...I got a couple of questions if someone might help me 1. you know the sanding trick to get rid of the seam line on the plastic canopies and dunking it in future? can you do the same with the vacuum formed canopies that come on resin kits?, I got one with a small fingerprint smudge that I would like to get rid off 2. how do you make clear plastic painted but still make it look clear? errr... is it by dunking it on inked future? 3. has anyone here used "Alclad"? to make that worn out metal trick?? how exactly do you use it?? is it by putting a coat of alclad as base and later painting over it and sanding the paint to expose the alclad?? 4. can the same worn out metal look be achieved by using regular metal color as base instead of alclad? thanks in advanced
  19. of course he showed up from episode 1 and on... on the opening credits
  20. oh man, I just got that kit myself, gonna use your build up as a guide, ehehehe looks great, keep up the updates
  21. nice to see someone detailing filling holes and getting rid of those annoying seam lines, can't wait to see it finished
  22. Wow, looks great, can't wait to see this finish I must say, I've learned a lot from your old step-by-steps too bad to hear you're having annoying issues with it, but if anyone can find a proper solution is you, hehehe..
  23. haha! if I remembered correctly, even in SDFM itself, the need for the Macross to transform and then fire was question by the zentradi, like 'wtf'? haha!!
