LOL.....picked up 3 detolfs yesterday and will be spending my sweet time today with the nephew arranging hot toys figs in there and anime etc...so slowly the Macross room will remain pure...

Lets not get our panties in a bunch here.. everyone is entitled to their opinion and lets give him his due. Everyone's perspective is different. There have been numerous affordable toys out there but if you think about it....hasn't there ever been a time when you sit down and play with your 10-20.00 action figure and say to yourself.. can't this thing be better? I'm sure you all did. Hell I have a ton of action figures of x-men, spawn, xforce etc. that I purchased from KayBee toys and toys R us.. but when I see what hot toys produces its like.. man I want that!!! To be honest I still have the 1/72 and 1/65 and transform them frequently. I do let my nieces, nephews and cousins play with the 1/65 ones at time (the bootlegs version) since I cherish the ones I have on dislay and still in boxes. You see what I mean? Some people perceive the 1/65 cheap, but I don't. I dust them and make sure the joints are ok. I take care of them like a 1/48 custom. So to each his own. I also have a frankestein 1/48 that I let my 3yr old niece play with and throw around. Back on topic. I'm glad Save has some insight on what is and will hopefully be going to happen. I'm still waiting for Graham's resource to say his version of corporate news delegation.

Okay anyone want to answer that. I'm on the field so ill make it short. Not to sound arrogant or imply that you can't afford it but base on your tone I sense a little bit of bitterness towards yamato from you not that its evident enough from your posts. However yamato toys are basically like hot toys. They are not meant for kids. These aren't our 80s or 90s toys. If you wanted to give them to kids then your right 1/55 or 1/65 will do. If you compare the 1/48 or the new 1/60 to the old toys there's a significant jump in the way they are built. I don't have a doctorate degree and don't have kids yet, but my association fees alone are daycare money. I still purchase a few items here and there. Not that I'm justifying my financial situation but to vent out here about the cost and imply Bandai is cheaper you got another thing coming. You can call and use the word ellitist you want but it does give some members the feeling of being called arrogant show offs. Hence I will no longer post anymore pictures of my collection. Too bad too since I've completed the album. Just my thoughts.

I don't collect much of the frontier v2 valks . Elitist....hmmm, maybe not....my pace has been steady =P I think.. 19P is loved because basaras ass was on it. LoL

Hey Graham...did you know about this take over? If it is their swansong then yes they went out with a bang...now questions is.. does Arcadia plan on revisiting the valks or even the 1/48 or does that make them antique and more collectible now that they will never be remade =(
