Maybe these will convince you.. couldn't wait, had to open one. One thing i did find is that upon inspection, the legs where the socket are dont seem to have any rubber covering. I tried tightening the screws but its still a lil loose. Not loose where it can't stand, but just odd since i've always been used to the normal 1/48 valks to have some tightness on those joints. The head wasn't screwed on properly, i believe the person who slapped it on didn't have the patience to adjust the hold or the head socket to go into the neck. I had to unscrew it and open up the hole a bit so it flushes in then screw it back on. I'll have pics of the YF19 tomorrow i hope if HLJ hasn't screwed up my EMS trckn numbers.. ergh..

anyone notice that when HLJ sends two boxes via ems they only give one ems trackn number? Reason why i ask is that i ordered something through HLJ and it does indicate 2 boxes, but only gave me one trackn number. Is that normal? I got one box today and just a liil bit concerned since the bigger box has not arrived yet. Checked EMS and it says final delivery...just askn if anyone had any similar experiences. TIA

i wouldn't go as far as wood. Heavy and more work for making slots/frame.. using the plastic trays would be ok for me .. just the artbox

Just thought i'd ask where I can find someone to commission for a custom 1/48 boxes for my VF1D's. I"m running out of display room and would like to put them in a custom box. I've seen 1/55 custom boxes, but not sure who and where to get them. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks kicker773

not sure if its a bandai kit.. i bought it assembled and it didn't come with a box.. sorry guys wish i could give more info on that

you the valk they have on the back of the takatoku super VF1S, that model/toy would look amazing if it were real...I remember seing the back of the box before i wanted my mom to purchase it awhile back..got excited then when i turned the box around to look at the toy itself.. i suddenly produced a frown and 2nd thoughts on buying one.. ended up buying a blue alpha when I lived in Zurich, Switzerland =(

i believe so... Graham said that these were going to be limited in production.. so yes they will be gone soon.
