Mine isn't a real FX version. It is a bootleg of a bootleg. It has an FX printed on the box, but it isn't really an FX version. I don't think the subs will work.

The Zentraedi capital ships didn't get much in the way of looks. They pretty much all look like green turds. The creative juices must have stopped flowing shortly after the SDF-1 and VF-1 were inked.

Where did you find the Bandai R2 release? I've got some crappy fake FX version and I don't think the subtitle upgrade works with it.

That has to be the one of the best worst P'shop jobs I've ever seen Did anyone else listen to the interview from Space Station Liberty where Kevin McKeever of HG talks about the RT movie? I think he went a little overboard with the "HG owns everything RT" statements. It pretty much came across as they don't own that much, and he is over compensating by making a big deal about them owning everything.

I think it might be true for Halo 2, but I'm not positive, but it doesn't do anything with Halo 1. If you have a PC with Vista then you can play Halo 2 on it and I think they/Bungie reworked the textures to make it look better, but it only works with Vista and not XP.

Actually I'm not mistaken See HD-DVD IS region free unlike BluRay. Both articles make it pretty clear I thought that region coding is something that is being looked into, but NOTHING is finalized. You should be careful with articles like these that are full of words like "could", "yet", "if" etc.

I thought today was mentioned earlier however the improved instructions might delay that a bit.

Maybe our perception of spending a lot of money isn't exactly that much money to WB. When you start throwing around lots of dollars a lot of previously closed doors magically open. Could it be that WB just needs to grease a few palms and they instantly get the rights to a Macross or DYRL story? WB is a pretty heavy hitter compared to HG.

Mine is a launch unit or at least I purchased it 2 weeks before x-mas 2005. It's been horizontal since day one. I also put little rubber feet under the unit to raise it up about 1/2 inch. Not sure if that did anything, but it only cost about $1 for the feet. No problems yet

Research photos? Hmm... Maybe I missed that part. Crap. How do you take research photos? Also did you ever find the key to get in that locked dentist office? I think it said you need Chompers key or something like that. I looked everywhere and didn't find it so I moved on to the next level. I checked the map several times and I hadn't missed any rooms and I'm pretty sure I checked every corpse, ashtray, desk, container, crate, etc. The Bouncers do something where the screen goes blurry and it causes you to run slowly. That's usually when they get a big hit on me. I just figured out that you can aim better with the guns last night, just like every other FPS. I can't believe I didn't notice it earlier, but it makes the Thompson much more effective.

I had been saving the Little Sisters until last night in the heat of battle I accidentally harvested one. Am I doomed to the evil ending now? Also what is a good way to defeat the Bouncers? The Big Daddy's are tough, but the Bouncers are really tough!

Started over on medium last night and will say that medium is much easier than hard. I think you get the same amount of ammo and health packs, but the bad guys are just really tough to kill on hard. I just encountered my first little sister. How far after this can you buy an extra slot for a 3rd plasmid? I had to make a choice earlier and drop one of the two you get early on.

I just got my copy in the mail yesterday and played it tonight. I had the demo and played through about a half dozen times on medium difficulty. I decided to start the full version on hard and it's way more difficult than the demo was on medium. The splicers take tons more punishment before they go down. Also I don't think you find as many Eve or health packs. I could be wrong on that one though.

What is the difference between these two kits. As I understand it the 22 has an extra sprue, but what does that sprue contain? edit: I meant the YF-21 and VF-22. Thanks, Steve

It's like Gears of War!, with color! Seriously though I played through the demo and it rocked as much as Gears did the first time I played. Glad I pre-ordered this one, and for only $39 to! Steve
