  1. I'll definitely buy the GBP. IF it ever comes out.
  2. I think that if Toynami released it domestically and wrapped it up in one of their Masterpiece boxes the price wouldn't be any cheaper. If they straight-up import it without any package changes then I would expect it to be a little cheaper, but probably not by much. Thanks for pointing that out, that would certainly explain the confusion. However, I still question why a Megahouse toy would be at the US Toyfair at all, since it's primarily a toy show for US-released products and MegaHouse doesn't, to my knowledge, have a US distributor. Diamond maybe?
  3. I'd really like to know what that means. Why would Toynami display a MegaHouse product unless they have plans to release it domestically? Is it possible Toynami decided to scrap their own Ride Armor and just release the MegaHouse? Could that have anything to do with the rumored MegaHouse Ride Armor delay? Interesting indeed.
  4. Thanks! I'll wait for a different store to put them up though, I can't shop at Toy-Wave anymore.
  5. Thanks for the pic, I was going to do that over the weekend but I didn't have access to my camera.
  6. Heh, I didn't even think to use the notch.
  7. Maybe I have a magic touch or something, but putting Stig on the bike wasn't hard for me. I just put him in a 'riding' pose and popped him right on there.
  8. Any idea if the Headmaster toy that comes with Bulkhead is just a head or if it transforms?
  9. Having owned a Toynami Alpha and a Aoshima Legioss, and also a CM's Ride Armor, I can easily and honestly say there is no comparison. The Toynami and Aoshima Alpha/Legioss I had was poorly done in every respect. Poor assembly, poor plastic, poor paint, etc. The CM's Ride Armor has a windscreen that breaks and so far that's pretty much the only major issue. Basically what I'm saying is the 'ignoring the flaws' argument holds no water for me because I bear no allegiance to any toy company. Doesn't matter who a crappy toy comes from, Toynami, Yamato, Megahouse, CMs, Hasbro, Bandai, Medicom, Takara etc, they all get a level playing field with me. If there was an exception to that it would be Toynami simply based on their track record. At least 90% of the product I have bought from them has had QC problems (and not just minor nitpicky ones) and that's why I tend to be afraid of their stuff.
  10. Sure, now that I officially decide to get one they're out of stock at BBTS and HLJ. Looks like I'll hit up Ebay.
  11. Oh. If that's the case then boo-urns.
  12. I've been meaning to take some pics of Rei with Revy for about a month now and it keeps slipping my mind. I'll try to snap at least one tonight. The only Revoltechs I have are Revy, Eva01 and Rei, and Rei is much taller than Revy and Unit01.
  13. Damn it. This is like death by snu-snu. (any Futurama fans in the house?)
  14. It helps that I try to maintain an 'only 1' set of rules with my collection. Like only one 1/48 valk, only one 1/55 valk, only one Garland, only one of each of the Ride Armors (meaning I have to choose between Stig and Ley). But add Transformers, Ghost in the Shell, some Revoltechs, SOC, and whatever other random things strike my fancy and yeah, it's insane.
  15. I see that the Tetsujin 28 revy is out. The only thing holding me back from buying that sucker is the existance of the black and white version, which is some kind of exclusive. Does anyone know any more about the B&W Tetsujin?
  16. Tell me about it, I just checked out my preorder list at BBTS and was a little shocked at how many things I had forgot were in queue. I just hope the Legioss doesn't end up coming out at the exact same time as SOC Godmarz because I do NOT want to have to choose between those two.
  17. I'm not a huge fan of the G1 Headmasters toys (although they were my favorite when I was a kid) but I've always liked the gimmick. I've wanted Hasbro to bring out new Headmasters for a long time now. The newer Omega Supreme (Energon line?) was one of course, but I didn't care for that toy.
  18. That Leader Bulkhead is pretty much the most enticing TF I've seen in ages. Is it true that it's going to be a Headmaster? That would be just unbelievably cool. My only concerns are that I hope the sawblade in his hand is removabl/retractable and I hope the arm cannons can be removed, but those aren't things that would prevent me from buying him.
  19. Boo. Oh well, more time to save up for it I guess.
  20. You're being too generous. I was thinking 2012, right before the planet explodes. And I'm sure Toynami will try to use the planet exploding as an excuse for why the QC is so bad. Wankers.
  21. Someone over at ToyBoxDX has their Megahouse Ride Armor on the way and says they should get it by Monday, so it looks like we'll be seeing some reviews pretty soon! As for Toynami...my prediction is September.
  22. I thought the Clone Wars animated series was excellent so I'm willing to give the new stuff a chance.
  23. I don't have my Rei figure on hand but my guess would be somewhere between 1/10 and 1/12.
  24. Several people here have the set preordered, including myself.
