Ah, I see the 1/7 now. That's an odd scale. Wonder why they didn't up it a notch to the standard 1/6 scale. Either way, it looks great.

Woah, I missed this the other day. I'd love more info on this figure. I'll probably only get it if it's 1/12 scale or smaller though. Also, does anyone know how good the Wave Tachikomas are, or know where any reviews are for them? I've got the dark blue Motoko version preordered but I don't know much about them.

Awesome, thanks! I don't remember seeing that pic before. Now hopefully the visor will be blue and not purple in the finished product.

Just got my shipping notice from BBTS, looks like the Macross wasn't on backorder for very long because it's coming my way! I'm giddy, I've wanted a toy of the Macross for so long now...
-
It looks really fantastic, but it's just too big for me to even consider buying.

Nice to see MH is doing Yellow and even the mustache captain guy (forgot his name). Very cool indeed.

Alien?! Fantastic! Finally an Alien figure I can add to my collection. I never liked the McFarlane ones and the Hot Toys one are a bit too big and expensive for me. Dang, Revoltech should change their name to...I don't know, Super Geek-Out Figures or something. What a great line.
-
I still haven't read nor seen anything to indicate I might not like this toy, so yeah, I'm still getting one.

Then perhaps you can share exactly what unfavorable things I 'edited' out of my posts. You obviously have a problem with me so please take it to PM if it's something you'd like to work out, this type of thing is too off-topic for a thread.

....OK? What exactly makes you say that? I found ToyboxDX years ago through this forum because several people here also post there, under the same usernames and everything.

I've poked fun at MW toy haters HERE, so what's your point? I've developed an aversion to Toynami's products because about 80% of the things I've bought from them have had terrible QC. How could that NOT make anyone wary of their products? I still buy some of their toys though, and I fully intend to buy more of their toys in the future if they get good reports.

That does sound interesting, primarily because of the goatee. Nothing says 'evil twin' like a goatee. Especially on robots who can't and shouldn't have facial hair.

It's a 'guilty by association' thing. Mostly what I meant was that I'm surprised any Japanese toy companies would want to do ANY kind of business with Toynami, even if it is just distribution. Rest assured though, if my Megahouse Ride Armor is a stinker then it's Megahouse that will get the stink-eye, not Toynami. Unless it takes 17 more months for it to be released because of Toynami, then both companies will get the stink-eye.

It's unfortunate that people feel forced into gambling with these things, and even a 'good' one still isn't really something that can be handled like a toy. I'll say it again, folks, if you absolutely feel like you must play Aoshima Roulette, do yourself a favor and order one from BBTS so you can return it if it's rubbish.
-
It's kind of sad that we went from 4 different companies making 4 completely different ride armors and now it's down to the autonomous CM's release and everything else gathered under the tattered Toynami umbrella. Like others have said though, if Toynami only distributes the Megahouse and Beagle toys and has NO input in design or manufacture, maybe things will be fine. Honestly though I'm surprised that any Japanese companies would want to slip into bed with Toynami after the Aoshima fiasco. That's like knowing your friend's ex-girlfriend is a disease-ridden nutjob and then deciding to sleep with her anyway.

Wow, I think I like this Saber better than the Revoltech one. Looks a little more 'alive' if that makes sense.

Cool, now hopefully they'll do Revoltechs of Hikaru, Roy, Max, Miriya, Minmay, Misa, Global, Claudia and some Zentraedis and then we wont ever have to ask for figures of the human(oid) characters again. And no, I don't expect any of those to get made any more than I expect a NGE Shinji Revoltech to be made (which I also want, dangit).

I have to use EMS. I'm far too nervous/anxious of an individual to wait for SAL.

That's pretty much my thought on this guy. His arms are so big that they seem like they'd basically cripple him. I'd like to see him parodied in a cartoon where he flys in and transforms and then desperately trys to lift his arms as his enemies blast him to bits.
-
Ditto. For some reason I need a TF to have two symmetrical arms/hands. That's also what kept me away from Alt Rumble.

I sent Toynami a couple of emails in regards to the awful Legioss I bought recently but they never replied.
-
Yeah, there are shady sellers around the world. I've had good experiences with every HK seller I've ever bought from, but then I'll only buy from them if they have hundreds of feedback and no lower than 99% positive.
-
Yeah, I've seen some good prices on Ebay from HK sellers. For now I just 'preordered' it from BBTS, even though it's on 'Backorder'. I've never dealt with a 'Backorder' item on BBTS before so I don't know how it works with them, they may never get anymore in for all I now. I'll give it a month and then if they still don't have it I'll have a HK seller hook me up.

Jazz has somewhat of a Mach 5 aesthetic going on, which is a good thing. Looks fantastic so far, although I'll be pulling off those oversized side mirrors (or whatever they are) as soon as I get him.

Thanks miriya. Still shows up as 'discontinued' on their site, though. And to think I had it early-birded and everything back in November and then cancelled it.
