  1. AWESOME news. The last time I tried to track that game down for the SNES it was going for around $70. Having it on the DS will be even better.
  2. What's going on under that helmet?
  3. There have been numerous reports of shoulder joints cracking. The left shoulder joint on mine is crumbling. The arm doesn't fall off or anything, so it could be worse. Otherwise, yeah, I don't think the plastic was bad on these toys at all.
  4. They're prototypes so it could just be a sculpted detail now but an actual joint on the finished model.
  5. Awesome, those are gorgeous. I really can't decide which deco I like better. Now we need some big, clear pics of fighter mode!
  6. If it's 129 at BBTS then it's very likely that it'll be cheaper elsewhere. Still, I preordered an Ozma.
  7. Maybe they're also planning a trailer for one of the movie Primes?
  8. Hmm...roller looks too 'movie style' to me. He looks good, but his aesthetics don't match MP Prime.
  9. 1/48 VF-1A Angelbirds. I'm guessing I'll be the only one casting that vote.
  10. Regardless of Bandai's past or current offerings for transforming toys, they have the same access to and are just as capable as Yamato, TakaTomy, CMs, etc. of hiring designers and sculptors to bring anything they want into existence. If Bandai is interested in giving us a sleek and sexy transforming valk with intricate design and smooth lines, there's really no reason to think they can't. They've certainly got the budget for it.
  11. I didn't say it was wrong, but I for one am remaining cautiously optimistic. A transforming toy is new for Beagle so I don't know what to expect from them in terms of quality. Since I've handled worse toys than Toynami toys I know it's possible for the Beagle to be worse than a Toynami toy. I don't expect it to be, but I don't really expect anything. Hopefully it's as stellar as the sculpt looks.
  12. I've officially lost interest in Toynami's 1/100 line. I like the 1S I have, I waited with eager anticipation for a long time for fastpacks, and now I just don't care anymore. Thanks for saving me a little money, Toynami.
  13. I would think that we'd want to see how the Beagle Ride Armor turns out before petitioning Beagle to make a Legioss/Tlead. Pretty pictures aside, none of us know how the finished toy will be in hand.
  14. I took mine apart too because one of the panels was stuck in a sort of half-way out position and wouldn't fold up flush. I have no idea what the problem is, and I couldn't get it to work, but at least I was able to get the one panel flush with the rest of the tail section. I'm tempted to just glue all of the panels in place.
  15. Picked up a Lugnut today and he's easily one of my favorites, although I'm finding that with Animated almost every toy is a favorite. Before I got him I thought the lack of functional hands would bug me, but he does have sort of a claw thing going on. If I really need him to have hands I found that the MP3 Soundwave hands plug into Lugnut's arms perfectly and even have ball-socket mobility. I do find two minor faults with the toy: I think the staff weapon thing could have been done a little better, maybe without the automorphing feature. Mine must have something broken on the inside because the automorph doesn't work. Also the head appears to have light-piping but his big HAL eye almost looks like it's painted over. In any case no light gets through, which is a shame because he'd look really cool if it worked. I had to photoshop his eye in the following pic.
  16. I'm still amazed that people seem to think Bandai is inexperienced at making transforming toys.
  17. I usually find that's the best way to go. Shut up, wallet, nobody asked you!
  18. Yeah, these Animated toys seem to be more addicting than all previous lines. I just tallied up how much I spent on Animated in one week and at first I was alarmed but then I realized the total was still less than half the price of a Yammie valk for a LOT more toy fun, quantity-wise.
  19. Are Bumblebee's feet as big and clunky in person as they appear in photos? I haven't decided yet weather I want to get him.
  20. I voted no because I don't really like Battroid mode at all. However I sincerely hope one gets made for all of you guys who want one.
  21. The Beagle does look really great, but I'll probably give it a pass. Believe it or not the CM's release has satisfied my desire for a ride armor toy.
  22. Rest in peace, George. You did good work while you were here.
  23. Gotta agree with you there, I just picked up Voyager Prime today and I'm totally geeking out over him and Grimlock both. Even my wife geeked out a little over Prime and had to transform him herself. She did it faster than I was able to.
  24. Little parts that automorph don't bother me as much, like some leg panels opening up or something like that (even though I don't prefer it). It's mostly the shift towards full auto-transformation that leaves me cold. Animated Starscream is far beyond the automorph of the movie toys. He's like those RID basics that fully transformed themselves (two jets, a dump truck and a race car, don't recall their names). With those toys and animated Starscream there is very little left to do yourself other than pose the limbs. I have a hunch these Alternity toys will try to take it a step further as well. Not saying it's bad or wrong or even that I wont buy the toys, just that it makes them less desireable to me. Like a puzzle that puts itelf together.
