  1. AWESOME. That is exactly what I was going to try to do when I get Bulkhead. I'm very happy to hear it can be done without any cutting. As for the hole, would it be too big to place a white star sticker over?
  2. That's my main gripe with the Fraulein body, the hips have almost worthless articulation just to retain the butt sculpt. I like a good butt sculpt as much as the next guy, but there are better ways to do it and retain articulation....like Revoltech Revy. They should have used her as the base for the Fraulein line.
  3. This link pretty much shows you everything on 3 pages. http://tformers.com/ig.php?mode=album&...906&start=0 But here's Cyclonus:
  4. Yeah, not sure why they didn't make Galvatron a Voyager or Ultra. I'll most likely give him a pass.
  5. Hrm...I'm not really liking the size of Yoko. She towers over Rei, who in turn towers over Revy. Kind of wanted the Revoltech hotties in the same scale, but oh well. I'll still get her, she looks great.
  6. The new Ravage is made to fit inside the G1 Soundwave, whose recent TRU reissue was technically Classics Soundwave. That said, I would LOVE an all new Soundwave for Classics. Currently the MP3 version is my Classics Soundwave.
  7. TARGETMASTER CYCLONUS?? Hound with a G1 compatable Ravage?? Holy awesome! And even though I wanted that previous Cosmos toy, I'll take the Legends class one. It's good to see the minibots making a comeback with him, beachcomber, brawn, bumblebee....wow. Everything looks so great, except Cheetor, who in my eyes is impossible to make appealing. I'm having a sever geek-out right now.
  8. That's the clear fastpack set, doesn't come with the Angelbirds. As for the Japanese schoolgirl resemblance, I never noticed it until it was pointed out and now that's all I can see. I think they should have packed the Angelbirds with a schoolbag and an extra hand giving the two-fingered 'peace' sign. That said, I LOVE my angelbirds. Quality-wise it's the most perfect of the 1/48s that I've laid my hands on. Although that damn nose cone still likes to come off too easily.
  9. Even though Toynami has let me down more consistently than any other toy company, I'm thrilled to see the partnership with Bandai, MegaHouse and Beagle and I give them my full support. I'm thinking I'll buy all Toynami releases of Japanese toys, even if it means waiting longer, just to support their decision and encourage them to keep it going. That said, Toynami's own 1/100 line is looking more interesting than it did previously, hopefully they can get them out in a more timely fasion than the first waves.
  10. Is that....no, it couldn't be....it is! A 1/55 VF-1D!! Well, no sleep for me tonight. Thanks for the link, Shin- That totally just made my day/month/year.
  11. Hmm...I didn't know about the Hot Wheels one. Does it have an opening cockpit to accomidate a figure?
  12. It's hard to say without handling one. Bandai's Gunbuster and Aquarion toys are really complex, and it's hard to imagine this being more complex than those but until someone holds one and transforms it we are left to guess. The truth is Bandai does have years of experience making transforming toys, and making them stellar. Of course they are able to screw up just like any other company, but typically their quality and attention to detail with their high-end toys are something you can bank on. With the spendy stuff Bandai doesn't f*** around.
  13. Just picked up one of the 3" Batman 2-packs with Batman and the Joker. I've been seeing them for weeks now, but I never picked one up because, well, they look terrible. I decided to get the small scale Bat tumbler and of course needed a Batman to drive it (regardless of what Stan Lee may say, the Thing does not fit in the Batmobile!) so I picked up the two-pack. I have to say, the Joker figure has some awesome old-fasioned 1980's action figure funk going on. He looks nothing like the Joker from the movie, although there is something there that kind of does capture Heath Ledger's Joker. The articulation is horrible, the paint is crappy and it looks like a pimp that would hang out at the Mos Eisley cantina with telescoping-saber Luke, Walrus Man and Hammerhead, but something about it appeals to me. The Batman figure has a much better likeness and sculpt, and slightly better articulation, but I almost wish it was as crappy as the Joker figure. Soften the sculpt and replace his fabric cape with a vinyl cape from a vintage Darth Vader and he'd be perfect. Anyone else like these little guys or did I just inhale too much bus exhaust today?
  14. I believe he was thinking of making SOC Mazinger an offer he can't refuse.
  15. My opinion of the CMs Tread/Legioss hasn't changed at all, I love it. It's held up quite well and I still oggle it or mess with it every time I pass the shelf. Now, the link up never bothered me from the start, nor did the apparent 'needle nose' (I actually love how the nose looks) or the chest vents (even though it is a very peculiar design choice). Nothing has broken or stressed, nothing has gotten loose, nothing really seems to pose a potential problem in the future. While I'll ALWAYS be open and receptive of future new Legioss toys, I'll be content if it never happens. Your mileage will vary of course, and I'm sure there are some folks who regret spending ~$300 on this, but it's so far my most satisfying toy purchase of the year so far. Displays great, plays great, represents one of my favorite animes of all time. No regrets. And I agree with what you said about Toynami's Legioss. If someone could take that design, tweak it a bit and have it made with more durable plastic I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Of course that's what we were all hoping Aoshima would do, and we know how that turned out.
  16. That Movie Realization toy looks fantastic, tits and all. $80-$100 seems a bit steep, but since I'm not buying any of the other Dark Knight toys I don't mind. And it's Bandai, so it should be awesome.
  17. It's also possible that the shoulder hinge was already stressed or cracked from the factory, maybe the arm got twisted somehow. If dozens of people experience the same breakage then we'll know it's a real problem.
  18. That's what almost every director does with Jim Carrey, which is unfortunate because Carrey is actually capable of good acting. He was great in Eternal Sunshine but I can't stand him in his 'wacky rubber-face' roles.
  19. Pic from 2Chan, posted at ToyBoxDX. I know nothing about this breakage other than the pic, but I do know this shoulder hinge was something I was concerned about.
  20. I see. It's strange that the bonus heads look so bad when the faces under the helmets look so good.
  21. Are those custom heads? My CMs Stick didn't come with a helmet-free head. and the face inside the helmeted one looked spot-on.
  22. Krunk is the name of Snapdragon's Headmaster bot.
  23. Quite alright, I appreciate the help. I'm going to add him to my favorites because if anyone ends up selling a Krunk it'll probably be him.
  24. Thanks, I've heard of this seller but I don't remember in what context. I'll check it out! :EDIT: Either someone already bought it or I'm an idiot (most likely the latter) but I don't see it. I found a complete Snapdragon he's selling, but not the head by itself.
