  1. He says that as a set up so he can tell the 'real story' when he eventually re-makes SDFM. Man I wish that would happen. I will always hold the original dear but I'd love to see it re-done with Frontier-grade animation.
  2. That's fantastic. I want to see it with the flight deck holstered.
  3. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Grimlock. Anime-Export should be shipping mine out soon, I can't wait!
  4. I get the 19 regardless of how much partsforming there is. I prefer none, but I'll be willing to deal with it if there is. I got rid of my VF-25 1/100 because I knew I wasn't going to touch it when I had the far superior DX sitting there. I'll use the 1/100 as my 19 representative until a better 19 toy comes along.
  5. I'm with you there. I'm already anxious for the whole thing to be done with so Hasbro can divert their focus back to non-Bay Transformers.
  6. Yeah, I wouldn't call it a minor flaw. I'd call it a non-issue. (I never display valks resting on their landing gear)
  7. Other than their plan to release one that does everything a year or two down the road. They can sell more product this way.
  8. Wow, 65cm is huge. We're going to need to fill out adoption papers in order to bring one of these home.
  9. Oh my...it's...it's beautiful! 34cm is plenty big enough for me, that's for sure.
  10. Well, Hasbro has released box art for Arcee so that's one step in the right direction. So far all they've said about Omega is something along the lines of 'We'd like to'. I don't expect Omega anytime soon, but I bet we'll see him in toy for eventually.
  11. It's two different angles of the same toy at the same time at the same show, there could be one hundred pics of it and I'd still only count it as one. I heard that Bandai is going to start crafting the DX head lasers from a sort of soft Twizzler-like material so they can be eaten if so desired. They will not, however, be flavored.
  12. We've got to get an Animated Omega Supreme figure is some way, shape or form. It's just too awesome and too craved by fans to not happen at some point.
  13. The drink tray and apron will definitely get use in my display, I love weird crap like that. The thought-transfer helmet will probably never leave the package. I could take or leave the crown. I have no objections to it, but I don't think I'll miss it. Seems odd for them to leave it out considering its just a small and relatively simple piece of plastic. Unless my earlier theory is true and Hasbro wants exclusive rights to the crown based on the presumption that fans who bought the Takara version might also buy the Hasbro version just for the crown. If I really want him wearing a crown I think the one that came with the Superking Bender figure will work.
  14. I'm not feeling Horsey McMan either, but I'm glad the fans of that character(s?) are getting what is sure to be a great toy. I just want to see some prototype pics of Daitarn already. I'm starting to get worried.
  15. I read something about the crown not being recognizable to Japanese fans or something like that (I could be very wrong and was quite possibly drunk when I read that). If thats the case I would bet anything that Hasbro will include the crown in their inevitable release of the toy and ditch the drink tray because of the small size of the glasses. And they might think it 'promotes alcoholism' or something. Although Hasbro did make several Star Wars cantina figures that came with little glasses that were presumably for space booze. Bah. I got nothin'.
  16. They originally intended at least a 4th season. Supposedly after the decision was made to end the series parts of season 3 had to be changed because they were tie-ins to a further season. I hope it isn't gone for good, as Animated ended up being the only Transformers show I actually enjoy watching and has some of the best toys ever made. ::EDIT:: Beaten by RavenHawk! *shakes fists*
  17. Heh, that's exactly the same screwdriver I used on mine.
  18. Yeah, I'm seriously considering giving this line another try with the Max TV 1A. The recently released 1/48 version has me salivating for one, but my pockets aren't deep enough for one of those.
  19. I assume the Max and Kakizaki TV versions will get pushed back as well. I hope not, I want that Max!
  20. It is. People are talking about the YF-21 in terms of comparison to the upcoming 11 and weather or not the 11 will have a locking mechanism for the chest in battroid mode. The YF-21 was the most recent M+ toy after all.
  21. The groin lock didn't hold well on mine and after a couple of transformations it got so bad that the peg would freely slide out of the slot. I fixed it with some clear nail polish but it still annoys me that it wasn't better. I know it's not a common problem so I assume the next one I get will be better.
  22. I gave up and ordered the set from BBTS. $19.99 for the four of them was actually a pretty good price for BBTS. Anyway, I got them last week and I love them all. The Legends figures were the stand-outs for me with this last Universe line. I like Cosmos so much I'm tempted to carry him around in my pocket.
  23. Considering how AWESOME the SDF is that we're dreaming up with it's metal skeleton and magnetized mechs.... I'm almost already disappointed by what the real one is going to be.
  24. Pure titanium is around 45% lighter than steel...and it would be more likely that a titanium alloy would be used, so there's no way the toy would weigh anywhere close to 40 lbs with an internal titanium alloy frame. Regardless, it's not going to happen.
