  1. Well that answers that! Sorry wallet.
  2. I wonder if this delay has something to do with the shoulder joint pins or if Yamato is simply trying to space out the releases a little.
  3. Excellent pics as always Drifand. Your photos always seem to say more than any review can.
  4. Bad news for my patience, good news for my wallet.
  5. Sorry, I meant "adult" in a purely technical sense, behaviour notwithstanding.
  6. I just thought of something: why do Hot Wheels need moving wheels? I mean, most of the people who buy them are adults who don't even take them out of the package, right? So why does Mattell waste their time and money by making the wheels spin when nobody is going to take them out and zoom them around on the floor?
  7. Because not everyone is like you and because a lot of people do like to transform and play with their toys. I'm not sure why that seems to be a difficult idea to grasp. To be perfectly honest if these things didn't transform I wouldn't be interested in buying them. I have no interest in statues of pop culture icons.
  8. The 1/48's took quite a bit longer to go through the variants and indeed is still cranking out the variants (Max TV 1A etc) and never did come up with a 1D, VE or VT. I'm happy that I'm not a completist because the 1/60 2.0 pacing would have killed me by now. One thing good about the fast pace is that it wont take long for them to roll out the Low-Vis, Angelbird, Stealth, etc. I hope they go nuts with the variants and make a bunch of non-cannon valks. I'd love to see one in olive drab.
  9. What the hell does Severus have to do with anything? I'm eagerly awaiting the HLJ Early Bird on the Elint. I'm wondering if the head will be attached the same way as the others because I'd like to see what it looks like with a 1A head.
  10. That is easily the finest looking Elintseeker toy ever made. I've actually never been keen on the design before, but those pics are seriously squeezing my WANT! glands.
  11. Yep, this one is official and backed by Hasbro. I have to be honest, I'm almost more excited for the old toy commercials that are being included than I am for the show itself.
  12. Unfortunately the screw is covered and I can't think of any way to get the cap off without mangling it. I'd like to tighten one of my shoulders and loosen the other.
  13. More details/pics on the G1 Season 1 DVD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001SLNPT...transformers-20 Can magnets harm DVDs?
  14. The proposed date for the series set is the end of summer or something like that. I'm going to wait and get the whole shebang.
  15. I early-birded mine from HLJ ages ago. Even though I quite like the 1/72 version I'm eager to get my hands on this update. But please, no exploding shoulders. :|
  16. They are also apparently releasing a box set of the entire series (all seasons) later this year that will contain more bonus features than what are on the individual seasons. I've liked Shout! Factory ever since they reissued the Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass catalog a few years back with copious liner notes, added photos and extra tracks.
  17. That's interesting about Sari. It's strange that they decide to tone down her appearances at the precise moment her character becomes more interesting. Regardless, I wouldn't say her abscence has hurt the series at all, it's just as good as ever. My fingers are crossed tightly for either an extension of the series or a new series in the same universe.
  18. That looks really great! I'm already quite fond of Activators Bee, but this mod makes him look even better.
  19. Oh my, how unforgivable! Especially on a toy! ::EDIT:: Sorry, I meant
  20. So 'goat legs' is the basic movie design theme? I'm surprised Prime doesn't have them this time around.
  21. Since this is due this month I'm really surprised we haven't seen any extensive high-res photo galleries of the thing yet. C'mon Yamato, start pimpin'!
  22. Lets just hope it doesn't come back like Knight Rider. Although the television industry is such a cesspool there's probably three different people pitching it right now. Back on topic- Anyone care to share some pics of their Super Alto?
  23. Heheh, true! Maybe the toy is like Airwolf - indestructable unless it gets hit in that one tiny spot, then it goes blammo.
  24. Go Go Chunky Powaahhhhhh!!! Didn't someone else here have their Alto fall and break into a zillion pieces?
