I just missed Arcee this weekend at TRU. Went shortly after they opened and they had four Ratchets that were just put out that morning, but all the Arcees were already gone. I've got the Japanese version preordered as a backup, even though I'm not sure if I'll like the metallogloss finish. As for Hot Rod/Rodimus, yeah, he can't be released soon enough.

Does that mean it's only a matter of time before Peaugh's skeletons creep out of the closet?

I thought it was great, but I found the Scottish and American accents odd. Should have been a totally Scandinavian dialogue with English subtitles. Night Fury instantly became one of my favorite animated creatures ever.

Maybe it would help to view Hit Girl and Big Daddy as the characters played by Nic Cage and the baby from Raising Arizona. Seems to be a logical progression of those characters.

Sweet. I guess I missed the part where it was mentioned that the mammoth was part of a combiner team. Now I want him even more! I dug around a little and found these: (I see a rhino and a saber-tooth something in there, and possibly a croc...although they might all be prehistoric creatures considering the mammoth)

Was their "Glacial Bot" (the red mammoth) supposed to be part of that? I really like the look of that one.

It's theoretically supposed to go on his face, but there isn't a really good way to attach it. Some people glue theirs on.

Bleh, that is a bad color combination. Also, where is the cockpit? It looks silly without one.

I'm sending my Choo Choo Prime back to the station. It looks fantastic, but mine suffers from: - Ill-fitting leg halves that cause a big gap and keep the knee panel from staying on. I took apart the leg to fix it but the pieces themselves seem to be warped and no positioning or screw-tightening will fix it. - The smokestack on one arm falls off. Easy to fix, but I really shouldn't have to. - A cow-catcher joint stressed and turned white instantly when I moved it. - Both elbows are so tight that you can feel the plastic give before any movement, and that's just dangerous. - The silver cross on the shield is covered with smudges and discolorations - The cannon track is immobile. It rotates, but it's supposed to slide the length of the trailer and wont budge. I was going to take it apart and see what the problem is, but reached the "aw f**k it!" point and didn't bother. I asked BBTS if I could get a replacement because I really, really love the look of this toy, but the BBTS customer service person mentioned in their email the vast amounts of complaints they've recieved regarding this toy and offered me a full refund so I took them up on it. There are a lot of problems being reported with this thing, from broken pieces to missing parts to incorrect parts - the works. And that's not counting the people who decide to just live with the problems and not complain. With this many problems I have a feeling MMC will do a future run of the toy and attempt to make it better.

Pics are floating around of the . They're a little different, but I like 'em. I haven't visited any Who forums in a while, but from what I've heard there seems to be a bit of an uproar. They don't really look that drastically different to me. :/

Heh, he does seem to get...EVERYTHING early, doesn't he? I'm curious what his source is. I know a lot of stuff pops up on eBay early, but that doesn't seem to be where he gets it. It's obviously stuff stolen from the factory, but it's interesting that he seems to have such a secure and steady source.

I like how it looks it both modes, but that transformation from his waist up looks like it will border on 'ordeal' when going back to truck mode - especially after leaving him in bot mode for a couple of months and then trying to go back. I'll most likely buy one, but to be honest the recent Knight Morpher Commander tickles me more than this guy. Looking forward to seeing Bumblebee. ::edited for grammatological reasons::

Exactly. The VF-1S Roy gets reissued all the damn time and, being an iconic character, is always a sure seller. It's not like one release with TV changes has any greater chance of sitting around unsold any more than any other VF-1S Roy. It boggles my mind that people are like, "NO!!! DON'T MAKE ONE!!!!" That sentiment pops up every time a TV Roy release is brought up. It's like there's a "No TV Roy" club or something.

Have you held one? I find the engineering and finish to be on par with Yamato's latest offerings. Size and metal content opinions aside, it's a remarkably well made and impressive little toy.

Yamato should definitely make a TV Roy. If people don't want one they don't have to buy it.

That one minute was more entertaining than all of the minutes in Clash of the Titans combined. And filmed better.

It's hard to judge the color due to different lighting and different prototypes used in pre-production photos. The Kai looked several different shades of red before it was released, depending on the photos, and the final product turned out to be a very nice, rich red with a slight metallic sparkle to it. The abscence of yellow stripes is curious, but it doesn't mean they wont be on the finished toy.
