I reached the limit of number of photos allowed per post, and the forum doesn't seem to let me do two posts in a row, so I'll post the rest of the photos after someone replies.

Yeah, my temporary insanity was based on not seeing any real pics of it leading up the release. I started questioning how much I really needed it, thinking of the other things the money might be better-spent on, and then luckily some pics were shown online and the less decayed part of my brain said, "See? You really do need that, dumbass."

Got my VF-27 Grace today and it looks like all the same shade of green to me. I'm guessing once I snap a few pics I'll see a variation, but my naked eye can't see it. I haven't transformed it yet, but so far the QC looks great. I'm really tempted to drag a fingernail across the paint on the nose to see if it scratches off as easily as the Brera, but I'll wait to see if that happens during transformation. The fold booster is gorgeous. The pink and clear green plastic go really nicely with the green plastic on the 27. Too bad it doesn't light up though. I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

Mine should arrive today or tomorrow and I'll take some pics. Anyone have any special photo requests?

I like Highbrow. His ridiculousness speaks to me. Terradive and Tomahawk look really great, too. Blue Peg looks like Blue Peg and not Blurr. Proper Blurr, please.

That was pretty funny, I liked Grimlock's voice the best. It sounded like Tracks and Jazz's voices were lifted directly from Family Guy.

I've got one on the way. As for the toy not getting much love...like you said - it is just another VF-1 toy so it's easier for people to be critical of something they don't really want anyway. I think very few of us really wanted or asked for a 1/100 VF-1 so there isn't much for most people to get excited about. My hope is that Bandai keeps a brisk pace with this line and keeps the non-VF-1 toys coming. Speaking of which we should be seeing new pics of the Hi Metal YF-21 soon.

They've shown up in Texas, too. Nothing here in Minnesota yet. I've already got Prime and Bee from Amazon so I'll just be Peg hunting this weekend.

Agreed- I was hoping for the 'layered' style where the parts are distributed among 2 or 3 stacked trays and allowing for a much smaller box. This could have fit in the same tiny box that the VF100 VF-25 came in. Probably even a smaller one.

NOOOOO!!!! SPOLIERSSSS!!! j/k That story element must have taken a full four seconds to think up and write. I think I'm going to stick with my gut-reaction to this game, which is to wait until I find it used and under $20. Something tells me it wont take long.

Got the WFC Prime and Bee today. I think they look better in person than they do in photos. Not that they looked bad in photos, but they seem less wonky-looking in my hands than they did online. I think a lot of people pose Bee's thighs strangly, making him look sort of saddle-sore. The transformations on these are a little wicked. Bee goes together pretty straightforwardly but the final stage of lining up all of the panels takes the most time, and I still can't get it quite perfect. Prime is a regular puzzle. He doesn't fill me with pure, burning rage like ROTF leader Prime does, but he's definitely got a few "set the toy down and rethink your strategy" moments. Overall I'm happy with both of them and looking forward to getting more WFC figures down the road.

So this is still on schedule for the end of June as far as we know, right? I'm finding myself oddly excited for it even though it's basically "just another VF-1 toy". I guess the VF-1 is like Pizza - even after having thousands of them I still get excited at the prospect of having another.

For what it's worth, there haven't been any problems reported yet with the recent batch of reissues. The armless 0A posted above is an older one and not from the recent reissues.

Did the box your 0A come in have a flap on it? I thought we established on TFW that your 0A wasn't from the recent batch of reissues.

I would prefer a pilot that looks like Grace, but it's not a deal-breaker for me and it's not going to bother me. As for the different shades of green, I assume it's going to be like every other green toy that people have freaked out over where I can't see any difference in person.

Did you ever get to see Dead Can Dance live? I saw them in 1995 (or thereabouts) and it still stands as one of the most amazing live performances I've ever seen. They really knew how to create a full and engaging atmosphere with live sounds. I wasn't even that big of a fan but the show still knocked me down.

I think I'm going to give my Peg a couple of beam sabers and maybe a RX-78 rifle. Maybe even stick a little yellow head crest on him. That should make him happy. He'll be like, "Sugoi!!!".

yeah, that's a stretch. Since Jackie Chan seems to be such a bankable actor it seems like they could have had just as much success calling it "Jackie Chan's Legend of the Little Dragon" or something like that.

I gaze at my shoes frequently. My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive are my favorite older bands, while Asobi Seksu is easily my favorite "NuGaze" band. I tried to maintain a shoegaze band a few years ago but it's not an easy thing to do when you're the only person in the band that's into it.

They may as well have called this movie "All Look Same" because the same mentality seems to be behind it.

By the way, if anyone is in need of one of these (the upcoming green Grace) I have one preordered/reserved that I'm willing to let go of.

I like Shin. He seems more human to me than a lot of Macross protagonists and I find characters who aren't perfect and "AWESOMES!" are more interesting. When I was younger I really loved Roy, but now he comes off kinda douchey.
