Dangnabbit, I want to see that! If they made it to the second prototype stage they were pretty far along indeed. I hope some pics of that TF that was not meant to be surface someday.

Just got done watching the raw version (no subs). Maybe it was because I didn't know exactly what was going on, but it wasn't very interesting. The animation is alright I guess. I'll watch the subbed or english dub version when it comes out before trying to form any more opinions.

To be fair, they never tried to pass if off as a trailer. Whoever took the picture just got creative. It doesn't really suck for what it intended to be...which is nothing more than a pretty picture to put behind Prime in the box. Saying it sucks as a trailer is like saying a pencil sucks as a baseball bat. Well, the fact is that it's the inside of Prime's trailer. Obviously Hasbro didn't intend for it to be attatched to the outside of Prime to be hauled around. Enjoy some humor, would ya?

I'd love to see that! I'd also love to see the Focus make it into the Binaltech line. I'm biased though, I have a Focus and I love it.

I had a TON of Transformers when I was a kid, way too many to list. When I was in 12th grade this used toy shop opened up in my town. I wasn't into toys anymore at the time and was constantly searching for gas and girl money, so I brought most of my Transformers (and Star Wars) toys that were still in great shape there to see if I could get some cash for them. I even had powermaster prime in the box. Well, the guy told me that Transformers weren't very sought after (this was in 1994) and that he'd give me 50 bucks for the lot. Of course I thought, "Cool, 50 bucks!" and left there with enough money to last me for a week. I'm still kicking myself. <_< Most of the rest of my toys ran through a steady gauntlet of a dozen nieces and nephews and few of them survived.

Awesome! I was wondering when someone would finally post transformation pics. I like his huge flipper-like feet. I'll be getting the Binaltech version for sure.

Cool! I'm guessing just the back door will open like a real trailer, but it would awesome if it split in half and had some extra detail. Actually, I'll be surprised if Takara themselves doesn't eventually make a fully detailed 'masterpiece' trailer to go along with Prime. They've got to know how much of a hit that would be.

Anyone heard from Blasto yet? I'm dying here holding out for my Blasto preorder when I could have gotten it a week ago from, well, pretty much anywhere else.

I don't know if it qualifies as 'sci-fi', but Caveman with Ringo Starr is an absolute crap-fest that for some reason I can watch over and over again.

LOL, I love TF:TM as much as the next Transfan, but holy crow does the soundtrack suck. "YOU'VE GOT THE POWER!!" I haven't seen any of the later Armada episodes with Unicron yet, but I'm not in any hurry. Besides, Old Cron is bound to make yet another comeback in Energon, wearing his freaky, trippy, black-light friendly Halloween paint job. <_<

Mine has a few very tiny chips in the midsection, but they're not very noticable. Most of the paint-chipping complaints seem to be inflated and dramatized. What in reality is a few very minor flakes for some reason makes people think of large patches of bare metal and flakes coming off all over the place. Frankly, I'll live with some paint chips because the realistic lustre of the painted diecast is like steak compared to the Alternators, which look slightly salisbury to me. Don't get me wrong though, if the plasticy Alternators were the only thing available, I'd be happy with them. They sure have the right price.

Hey, that's nice! Good work. I love seeing custom mods on these new Transformers. I can hardly wait to see someone customize Hound into a more G-1 looking version of himself. Bring on the interior shots!

Sort of off-topic, but how do you like Starscream? I got one last week and even though it's nicely done, I don't like it quite as much as I thought I would. I think it might be the colors they used.

Hmmm...the Hasbro version at BBTS really isn't that much cheaper. I doubt it will be $75 in the stores.
